Hi,
I'm Violet,
And welcome to your practice today.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and begin to settle into your seat.
Center yourself by taking deep belly breaths.
Allow each breath to take you deeper and deeper until you begin to feel your shoulders drop away and relax from the day.
Observe what's going on in your own soul,
Your body,
And your mind.
Take a moment here just to be with whatever is coming up for you.
Notice the speed at which your thoughts move and how it feels to be in your body right now.
There are some things you may feel uneasy about,
Strong emotions rising or really loud thoughts that never quiet down.
Maybe you are holding onto feelings of stress or guilt and find yourself feeling tense more than you feel relaxed.
Try just for a moment to be with these unwanted feelings and aspects of yourself and sit with the discomfort.
Keep breathing a relaxed breath in and out,
In and out.
Release and release.
Notice how much space these unwanted feelings take up inside of you,
In your body,
In your thoughts,
In your soul.
It's important to keep breathing deeply,
Consciously,
While experiencing strong emotions.
This technique helps these stuck emotions pass through.
Notice any resistance you have towards them,
Towards yourself.
Look at all of these unwanted aspects and strong feelings and in your mind,
Repeating after me,
Say to them,
I see you exactly as you are.
There is a place for you here,
Exactly as you are.
Thank you for showing me where I have room to grow.
I love you exactly as you are.
Notice these parts,
Acknowledge them,
And breathe into them.
Find these unwanted feelings and aspects space to be without resisting them and wanting them to change.
Keep breathing deep,
Conscious breaths and just observe.
Keep your attention here and continue to breathe deeply into these feelings.
You may exhale loudly if that's what you are being told to do.
Once again,
Repeating after me,
Say to them,
I see you.
Exactly as you are.
There is a place for you here,
Exactly as you are.
Thank you for showing me where I have room to grow.
I love you exactly as you are.
Breathe it in and let it out.
Let it all move,
Move through you.
Notice what happens when you give space to these unwanted feelings and parts of you.
What's changed?
Rest in this feeling of peace.
I will have this moment.
I will just let it burn.
