Namaste,

It's Evelina here.

I will share with you six tips for balanced morning routine.

So these tips are great for anyone.

You can adjust them to your own lifestyle so you can bring more productivity,

You can feel more organized,

More joyful and more peaceful during whole of your day.

The first tip is wake up early enough.

It might sound super simple,

However it's a really crucial element of creating that balanced morning routine.

So we always want to wake up to have enough time to do all of our morning things with peace,

With tranquility and to not skip on any of them.

Many of us are setting up the alarm in the phone and then when the alarm rings in the morning we're putting next nap,

Next nap,

Next nap and then at the end we are running through the day and we don't have time to do anything for ourselves in the morning.

So that's what we really want to avoid.

You want to wake up early enough to have time for all your important things.

So what does it mean on the other hand that you need to go to sleep early enough so you have enough time to rest and to have actually really a high quality rest.

So you need to think also a little bit before about the time of your dinner.

It should be early enough that you can digest easily and then go to sleep once the food is already digested,

Once you're not feeling heavy.

You don't want to spend too much time in front of the computer before or in front of your phone,

In front of the screen in general because that also is disturbing our sleep.

The second tip is our morning cleansing.

So obviously we're waking up,

We're brushing our teeth,

We're getting ready to go to work.

However there are some elements which we really need to have in our routine so we can feel healthy and clean.

According to Ayurveda when we are waking up,

When we are becoming active,

That's the time when we should actually eliminate the waste.

So that's the time when you should go to the toilet,

Eliminate your bowel and your digestive system would work naturally in this way,

In the most healthy way.

If you are eliminating as the first thing in the morning.

However many of us struggling with unhealthy lifestyle with maybe not so balanced way of living,

We are not able to go to the toilet as the first thing in the morning.

So that's why we need to balance our digestion and obviously healthy diet,

Exercises and enough rest is a great help in here.

However you can do some small adjustments as well,

Like starting a day with a glass of warm water.

So this is something really important.

I do it every single day just drinking maybe like 300 milliliters of warm water helps to flush out the toxins,

All the impurities from our body.

So you can imagine it as basically pouring this warm water,

It cleans all the track,

All the intestine and helps you just to wake up your digestive system to boost your metabolism so you can eliminate the impurities from your body.

Another of my morning cleansing rituals is a cold water shower.

So this really helps me to wake up suddenly.

Wherever I am,

It can be in the warm country like right now in India,

It can be in the cold country like my home country Poland.

I'm starting the day with this cold shower.

So it really gives me that kick of energy,

It wakes me up and it makes me to feel refreshed and energized for the day.

Personally in my morning routine are a couple of Ayurvedic elements.

So one of them is the oral cleansing which includes oil pooling,

Which is basically pooling the oil,

I'm using usually coconut oil and it basically catches the toxins which my body removed during the night.

So it catches it,

It got absorbed into the oil and then you spit out the oil,

Basically after like 20 minutes of oil pooling.

After that I'm doing the tongue scraping which is using a small metal tool which helps to remove the dirt from your tongue and this is very very very beneficial for our metabolism because that's where we are starting the digestion.

It begins right from the mouth so we need to also take care of cleansing that properly.

After that obviously I'm brushing my teeth and this is the last element of this Ayurvedic cleansing of my mouth.

Then also I'm doing Jalaneti which is basically purifying my sinuses with the salt water,

With lukewarm salt water.

If you're interested in that I have another video tutorial about how to do Jalaneti.

It has some great benefits if you are struggling with running nose,

With low immunity,

If you are having some kind of allergies or if you are just not feeling very energized this basically helps to purify all your nasal passage so you can breathe freely.

The third point is time for your well-being.

So this is a time which we are dedicating only to ourselves,

Only for our health,

For our peace,

For our well-being in general.

For me this is a yoga practice.

For someone else it might be certain kind of sport,

Maybe walking in the nature,

Maybe jogging,

Maybe going for the cycle or for a swim,

Whatever it is for you.

Basically there are three different elements which we really want to include in this time for our well-being.

First of them is breath.

So you really want to take the time to breathe deeply,

To have a time to reconnect to your breath.

Second element is movement.

So you want to have this mindful movement of your body.

This can be as I mentioned practice of yoga or any kind of sport,

Any kind of activity which you are personally choosing for yourself,

Which you love,

Which you enjoy.

The third element which I would include in here is can be meditation,

Can be mindfulness but just having a moment to sit still with yourself,

To notice how you are feeling actually today,

To find a moment of stillness.

And this moment of stillness is really important especially nowadays when we are all rushing and running and going so quickly through the life.

We're not really finding the time to just simply be.

And in the morning it's a great time for taking this moment of stillness,

Moment of silence because at this time everything still is calm,

Is sleeping,

The world is sleeping around you,

You are more peaceful,

Your mind is more clear without any disturbances which the day might bring to you.

Tip number four is setting up intention.

So you can think in here of setting up the intention for today.

Maybe just sitting again in silence,

In stillness and thinking through your day,

Bringing your full awareness into what you actually want to do today,

How you want to interact with people,

What are your main goals for today,

How you want your work to look like,

How you want to feel.

So all of that we want to think through and by bringing awareness to that we actually can manifest it easily.

As well we want to think about bigger intention.

So let's say you have a big vision for the next five,

Ten,

Fifteen years.

Just reminding this big vision to yourself,

This what your heart is truly calling for and remembering why you are making the small steps today where you would like them to guide you to one day.

Setting up the intention can be obviously just in your mind,

In silence,

However I'm advising you to journal which is a great thing.

So just making that structure for your day,

Making a day plan,

Putting out on the paper what you actually want to do,

It's really helpful and it brings much more clarity into our day.

Tip number five is to have nourishing healthy breakfast.

Breakfast is super important meal of the day because it gives us energy,

It's supposed to give us energy for all the day,

For many hours of being active,

Of working,

Of thinking,

Of creating.

So we really need to nourish our body in the best possible way in order to have that energy,

To be able to be creative,

Productive,

Efficient,

To be able to be peaceful,

To be able to feel well.

We really need that high quality nourishing breakfast.

Tip number six,

Our last tip,

Is the inspirational time.

Inspirational,

Self-growth,

Self-development,

However you want to put it,

But it's the time when you are actually investing in yourself,

When you are investing in your intellectual growth,

When you are investing in learning something new,

When you are becoming more inspired,

When you are getting that motivation to go forward.

So it might be reading a little fragment of the book which you really love,

It might be listening to some valuable podcasts,

It might be watching a video on YouTube which you really admire,

Which you appreciate,

It might be learning about some certain topic which right now you are very interested in.

So you can think,

Oh I don't have time to do the self-development things in the morning,

However it's again all about time management because maybe when you are walking towards metro or maybe when you are in your car on the way to work,

Just playing the podcast,

Putting the headphones in your ears and listening,

It can be truly beneficial already and this is yourself growth time.

So these are all of the six tips which I believe everyone can implement in their life and get a lot of beautiful benefits for the whole well-being.

Obviously these elements,

The way how you can apply those tips can be completely different and they vary from one person to the other.

Maybe one person will spend five minutes,

Ten minutes doing the morning exercises and this is totally enough for them.

Maybe the other person will spend two hours for it.

However you can find your own way so that's why it should be basically tailor-made but I believe that all the six elements if they will be properly put into your lifestyle they will bring you so much more joy,

Productivity,

Efficiency and peace into your whole life.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Thank you πŸ˜πŸ–€. You are amazing. My morning alone time is very important to me, but it definitely could be more structured and goal-oriented. I took notes from your audio πŸ‘πŸ» I’m curious about your β€œhigh quality/nutritious breakfast”. If you don’t mind me askingβ€”what is an example food that you eat in the morning? Or do you have any favourite vitamins or supplements? I have a ton of food restrictions and find meal times challenging.
