Grand Risen,

Beautiful beings,

Good morning.

Good morning,

Good afternoon,

Good evening.

The premise is that it's good.

There's a fundamental goodness about life.

There's a fundamental goodness that is alive and well.

And there's a fundamental goodness inside each and every one of us.

And so I am so grateful in this moment to be able to share this space with all of you as we go about our day,

Wherever we are in the day.

So we're going to open up this space with a few moments of silence and then get into some prayer action,

Paying homage to those who have come before us and paying homage to the ineffable presence,

The presence that is never in absence,

The presence that is present always,

Holding us,

Guiding us,

Loving us,

Teaching us,

Nurturing us,

The presence of God,

The presence of Spirit.

Let us hold this space with a few moments of silence.

Thank you,

Spirit.

Thank you,

God.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you for waking me today.

Thank you for the smile upon my face.

Thank you for my want and my desire to pray.

One of my absolute favorite things to do.

You know,

I woke up this morning and I'm in California and I sent a message to a friend of mine talking about how I just love it here.

I moved here three years ago and now I live in Peru and I just miss California.

I've been missing it.

I've missed the beaches.

I miss the mountains.

I just miss everything about it.

Not the price,

But everything else.

And,

You know,

That prompted this message.

Two parts to it.

The first part is,

You know,

Some mornings you're going to wake up and you're not going to feel your best.

You're not going to feel like going to work.

You're not going to feel like doing what you need to do for yourself,

For the kids,

Maybe that's meditate,

Journal,

Do some form of like body movement.

You're not going to feel like packing the lunches.

You're not going to feel like doing the dishes.

There's going to be so many things on certain mornings that you're not going to feel like doing it.

But guess what?

God doesn't rest so we can.

So what does that mean?

That means that if you don't feel like doing something,

That's okay,

Do it anyway.

Do it anyway because in that moment,

In that mood of you not feeling like it,

Spirit is always present.

Spirit is always working on our behalf.

Spirit is always in action,

In the movement,

In the silence,

In the stillness.

So it's okay if you don't feel like it.

It's okay if you woke up and you're like,

Man,

Not today.

And there's going to be days where,

You know what,

You take a mental health day or you say,

You know what,

I'm going to stay home with the kids.

Or you say,

I'm going to send the kids to school or daycare and I'm going to take care of myself.

I'm going to spend the day with myself.

So every day is going to be different.

But don't not do something because you don't feel like it.

Feelings and emotions are temporal,

Meaning they're temperamental.

They're temporary.

They come and they go.

So I suggest you get a routine.

And I suggest that you hold yourself accountable to that routine and also acknowledge that the routine can and will change.

Your practice can and will change.

The second thing I want to talk about is the fundamental goodness.

There is this beauty.

Right now,

I'm dog sitting.

So I'm getting to care for this beautiful,

Loving creature.

Right now,

I'm walking down the street.

I get to be in joy because I have legs.

I have arms.

I have hands,

Fingers,

Toes.

I have a beautiful brain.

My heart is beating.

God woke me up today.

I have breath in my lungs.

And I get to pray,

My absolute favorite thing to do.

And so I get to choose to be in joy.

I get to choose whether I show up or not.

And I get to choose how I show up.

You know,

Someone left me a comment about me recording these prayers and that sometimes there's background noise and it's distracting.

Well,

I'm not doing a guided meditation.

I'm doing a prayer.

And it's such a beautiful omen.

When I received that message,

I was really like,

I sat with it for a moment.

I listened to the birds.

I sat with it for a moment.

I said,

You know what?

Grand Rising.

I sat with it and I said,

You know,

I understand.

I understand that perceived background noise could be distracting.

But I also know that the omen of life is that things are not always going to go as planned.

I'm not going to come on here and record these prayers.

And there's going to be just complete silence in the back unless I'm in Peru in the mountains.

And so it's a great practice for us,

The individual,

To say,

You know what?

I'm going to focus on her voice.

I'm going to focus on the words that she's saying.

I'm going to focus on the fundamental joy that she brings about,

Not the background noise that's distracting.

I'm going to look at that background noise and I'm going to say,

Thank you.

Thank you for presenting yourself so that I can deepen and strengthen my practice.

So it's just really about how we choose to look at something no different than when we wake up.

If we don't feel like it,

We get to choose and say,

You know what?

This is just a moment.

I'm just feeling like this right now.

I might be a little tired.

It might be warm under the covers and it's cold outside.

Whatever the case is,

You get to choose.

You get to choose.

So I just wanted to share that.

I want us to focus on the fundamental goodness that is at hand.

I want us to focus on the love and the joy that is present.

And please,

When I'm saying these things about focusing on the fundamental goodness,

Good morning.

What I am not saying is that you have to feel great all of the time.

We are human and we experience emotions.

We experience grief.

We experience trauma.

Good morning.

There's many,

Many things that we experience.

And grief is a great indicator that you have loved deeply.

Grief is a great indicator that you are human.

It will remind you of your humanness very quickly.

And so whatever it is that you're experiencing,

Remember that you are not your experiences and you get to be the observer and the witness to these things.

Family,

I love you.

I recognize that right where you are,

Love is present.

God is present.

Spirit is present.

Buddha is present.

Allah is present.

Jesus the Christ is present.

Krishna is present.

Whatever you choose to call your higher power,

This ineffable supreme presence.

Being gratitude that you woke today.

Being gratitude for the love that is you because you are the love.

I'm so grateful in this moment to know that we are all unified in spirit.

We are all unified in love.

One united front.

There's no war.

There's no war.

Continue to focus on the fundamental goodness.

Don't focus on the news.

Don't focus on the media.

Don't focus on what this family member or that family member or this coworker is doing.

Focus on what you can do to make your life paradise.

Because the presence of God is at hand.

The presence of love and joy and harmonizing prosperity is at hand.

So I'm so grateful in this moment to know and to realize that God gives itself fully.

We don't need to enter a secret passcode to access spirit.

It's given to us fully.

And so I give thanks.

I give thanks for realizing in this moment all is well.

I give thanks for being in gratitude.

I give thanks for the food,

Clothing,

And shelter that you've been provided.

All needs will always be met.

Always.

So I release this prayer by giving thanks,

By releasing it into the law unto itself,

The law of the universe,

The law of love,

And the divine goodness,

The divine perfect orchestration that is always at hand,

Sight beyond sight,

Sound beyond sound.

I release this prayer by saying,

And so it is.

And so it is.

And so be it.

Thank you,

Beautiful people.

I love you,

Soul family.

Have an amazing,

Magical,

Majestic day.

You are the alchemist.

You are the joy.

You are the forgiveness.

You are the passion that this world needs.

So be that.

I love you.

Until next time.
