Solar Eclipse: Goddess Morrigan

Timelines are shifting and speeding up as we move through eclipse season. The July 10th eclipse offers catalytic energies for making necessary shifts to support the new seeds we are planting. Goddess Morrigan is present to support our process of transformation.

Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Everything is Energy.

Welcome to the solar eclipse in Gemini,

Which takes place on June 10,

2021.

The intense energies are continuing.

This is a ring of a fire eclipse to give you a little bit of a sneak peek into what's happening energetically.

Where to begin?

Let's start with the astrology.

So we just came through a lunar eclipse and we're headed into a solar eclipse.

Lunar eclipses are released,

Solar are calling things in,

New beginnings.

This particular eclipse has some potentially destabilizing energies for a very good reason.

This eclipse is conjunct Mercury retrograde and square Neptune.

So I've talked before how classically Mercury retrograde gets a bad rap for things being confusing but really the confusion is about re-establishing right relations and proper order of things.

So this Gemini new moon is conjunct,

Which means in sync with Mercury retrograde and it is square to Neptune.

Neptune is the planet of idealism,

Intuition.

It's the planet of illusion and delusion.

So during this time we might have some realizations about things that have been misunderstood,

Misrepresented,

So as to ultimately bring things into right relations,

Into balance.

So we'll have some unpredictable energies,

Non-linear experiences supporting us in not only inhabiting higher dimensions but here in our physical world in raising vibrations.

This is a north node eclipse.

Eclipses are either north or south nodes but south node is the past.

It's our past lives,

It's the lessons that we've learned.

The north node is where we're headed,

Our souls of illusion,

The future co-creation that's happening on our planet.

So this eclipse is pointing to some potential realizations so as to support reorganization,

So as to keep us on the path of ascension,

On the path of a bright and beautiful future that we are co-creating.

And it's interesting to note that just like the lunar eclipse that happened a little bit ago,

We're still in this mutable energy.

We have five planets and the nodes in mutable signs.

We have Jupiter,

Neptune and Pisces.

We have the Sun,

Moon and Mercury in Gemini and we have the nodes.

Mutable is malleable.

Mutable is shape-shifting.

And this is perfect because the eclipse is,

Luna is in the sign of Gemini.

As I mentioned are the Sun and Mercury.

Gemini is an adaptable sign and the Gemini energy is going to encourage us to seek truth,

To use our own energetic experience to discern truth versus fear.

And I want to take it to an energy that's present during this time.

Goddess energy.

Her name is Morrigan.

The Morrigan is another way that people talk about her.

She's the Celtic goddess of war and death.

Typically depicted a little bit scary with knives and skulls and in the dark.

She's actually the guardian of transformation.

She's the guardian of death.

Being the goddess of war and death,

She's a gatekeeper of sorts to support us in balance and right relations.

She's a warrior goddess who actually embodies many of the things that in this particular time on our planet that we've been taught to fear.

And she's here to help us remember the power and necessity of everything she embodies to return to the divine feminine being embraced and understood and honored.

So some of the things that we have been taught to fear sensuality,

Magic,

Prophecy.

She's also the goddess.

She was known as the goddess of revenge.

I offer that she's the goddess of balance and right relations.

And as the goddess of war,

We really get to look to the time which she was really written about and experienced.

Morrigan comes to us from the ancient Irish warrior culture during darker times but her larger picture is one of shape shifting which is perfectly fitting with this story.

She in legends shape shifts into a crow and a raven and a cow and many other things.

So as to,

In the stories that she's spoken of,

So as to keep right relations,

To keep things in balance.

She was also the goddess not only of war but of sovereignty and of fertile land.

She was looked to for people who were close to the land for protection from those who were seeking to pull things out of balance.

And I hope this is starting to ring a relevant chord for why she's here.

I want to mention a couple stories just briefly to give you a sense of who this goddess is.

She was mated to Dagda,

The son of the great mother goddess Danu.

And she was said to fight by their side,

Being instrumental in maintaining the sovereignty of the land against those who sought to invade and misuse it.

And it's interesting her relationship to Dagda,

They came to be a couple on Samhain which is a sacred day to the Celts.

And when they came to be a couple on that day it assured victory for the people of the land.

And she went into battle,

Ultimately proclaiming victory and a return to prosperity and right relations with the land.

So essentially she's a pretty scary image of a woman but she's actually setting right what might be wrong and bringing empowerment to her people.

Another story in the Ulster Cycle of Stories is about the Irish hero Cú Chulainn.

And Cú Chulainn was known to be the only person not affected by a curse laid on the entire land of Ulster.

And at that time,

Through this curse,

Everyone in Ulster was rendered helpless,

Pain-wracked,

Nobody could move or defend themselves.

So it's interesting to note that the curse was laid on the people of Ulster by an aspect of the Morrigan but it was also the Morrigan that set up the circumstances which led to this hero Cú Chulainn's greatness.

He was the sole warrior who was able to defend the entire land of Ulster.

And in this story,

The Morrigan appears first to Cú Chulainn as a beautiful woman who offered her love to him.

He rejected her.

He was too full of thoughts of battle to take time for a woman.

Later on in the story she reveals her true self and she reveals her anger at his disregard of her.

And while Cú Chulainn is engaged in combat,

She shape-shifts.

She turns into an eel,

She turns and trips him,

She turns into a wolf,

Causes a stampede of cattle,

And she finally appears as a cow at the head of the stampede.

Long story,

With every attack Cú Chulainn wounds the Morrigan.

Finally,

After his victory,

She appears once again as an old woman milking a cow.

And she has all the same injuries that he'd given to her when she was in her animal form.

He blesses her,

He realizes who she is,

And as she gives him the milk from the cow,

As he drinks the milk,

This heals her wounds.

He then finally turns to curse her because he realizes that she sort of tricked him into healing herself.

And then the story closes when she predicts that he's going to die soon in battle.

He does die.

She descends in raven form to rest on his shoulder to finally claim him as hers.

So it's a long story,

But I think you get the shape-shifting aspects and the balance in right relations through potentially confusing communications.

And we live in these times where there is so much ego,

There is potentially so much disinformation.

And the Morrigan is here,

This solar eclipse is here,

To remind us that we are the energetic tuning forks.

We are equipped with understanding light versus dark,

With knowing what is fear and what is true.

And this is a part of a massive divine reorganization that this goddess,

Along with many other light beings,

Are bringing forth so that we can ascend.

Let's get to a practice.

And a quiet,

Safe,

Sacred space.

Somewhere where you can sit or lie and close your eyes and let your spine be straight.

Straight spine allows the energy that always flows through our field to flow freely.

And now imagine you are in a vast,

Deep,

Old-growth forest.

It is dusk,

And the forest is so tall and so vast that even though there is still light,

You can sense in the sky up above this forest is already turning dark.

Deep hues of green.

Every once in a while a shaft of light through the trees.

And you venture to find almost like a giant bonsai tree that's got this gnarled trunk with a perfect place for you to sit or lie.

So you climb up this tree and decide to sit or lie to experience the magic of this forest.

And as you settle in,

You begin to see orbs of light floating all around you.

As the sun is setting,

Darkness sets into this forest,

Even slightly before the sun sets,

And just a couple shafts of light and these small orbs of light floating around you.

And as you breathe in,

You can feel the light,

Pristine air of this sacred old grove of a forest.

And first just allow yourself to receive.

To receive this energy that's floating all around you as if somehow beyond linear time and space attuning you.

And off in the distance a gray sort of cloud or mist of light appears.

And through this mist a dark figure begins to come towards you.

She has horns on her head.

She's accompanied by several black birds,

Ravens and crows.

She has jewels that she uses in battle.

Notice what she's carrying.

This is the morgan.

You recognize her energy.

You feel yourself slightly fearful,

But you instinctively know that you are safe.

This powerful goddess walking towards you,

Floating towards you,

Comes to address you.

About 15 feet in front of you she stops.

She's at least 20 feet tall.

She's beautiful.

Energy,

Truth energy.

And feel the energy that floats all around her is also cleansing.

She's silently energetically asking you if you would like to invite her to cleanse you.

And when you're ready,

When you invite her,

From the center of her chest,

Deep blue,

Deep green,

Indigo and black light emerges and floats towards your field.

And you can still see these orbs of light floating through the forest and you allow this deep blue,

Green,

Indigo and black energy to merge with you.

And as it does,

It's moving towards all the aspects,

The fears,

The misunderstandings,

The disillusionment that might be in your field.

Not only something in your personal life,

But something you might be carrying for the collective.

This light is moving and magnetically attracting and disintegrating these heavy energies,

These fears.

And notice how you can feel a little bit of trepidation,

But you can also feel the light that is right on the other side as you just simply allow this goddess to merge with you.

And see if you can stay here and just simply breathe and receive.

It's as if these old growth trees are welcoming the energy of this goddess.

They know her.

They honor her.

And they are also honoring you as one who seeks to be in right relations,

Close to Mother Earth.

Continue to allow the energies from the morgue to merge with you.

Notice how she's not speaking in words.

She's beyond words,

As if there's not much for your linear mind to need to understand.

She's speaking with her heart,

Merging with your field and your heart,

Bringing you into balance,

Preparing you for the path of the future that is one of balance and right relations.

Cleansing you,

Cleansing you.

Anything that is not in sync with that bright future is being energetically removed.

And as she's cleansing you,

The birds that arrived with her,

The raven,

The crow,

They begin to circle around you,

Around your field,

Around and around,

As if to signal that something is taking place.

And now this goddess with horns on her head to signify that you are cleansed and she raises whatever tool,

Whatever implement she brought with her up to the heavens.

And as she raises it up,

All the heavy energies that may be left in your field are magnetized into her tool and feel yourself instantly light.

And then she points the tool down to the ground and all of that energy flows into the earth and turns into beautiful white light.

And feel the lightness that is in your aura.

Feel the sense of coming home,

The sense of deep remembering.

And feel how now as the fear has completely vanished there is deep peace and a deep knowing of truth,

Harmony,

Balance,

Peace,

And right relations.

This is the frequency that the Morgan wants you to know is the frequency that you're seeking.

Anything that is not of this frequency is fear.

She also wants to know that you can come here anytime you need to be reminded,

To be cleansed,

To be attuned so that as you move through your life out into the world creating the future this is a space that she holds for the sole purpose of right relations,

Balance,

Harmony,

Vibrating and being in sync with earth.

And now send a pulse of deep honor and respect and love and gratitude from your heart to hers to acknowledge this beautiful transformation within you that has taken place by merging with her.

And as you send that pulse of honor and gratitude towards her she turns into not a blackbird but a beautiful white owl showing you her true deeply spiritual and wise self and this owl begins to circle itself above your head flying in circles up and up and you look up into the trees these trees that are 20 stories tall and this owl is circling up and circling up bidding you farewell.

And there you are sitting on this tree or lying on this tree in this beautiful old growth forest and these trees are knowing you as if they know this goddess they know this energy and the orbs of white light are also of this energy of balance and truth harmony right relations peace.

So as you're ready to depart from this ancient sacred grove look around you address the trees address the earth send a pulse of gratitude and honor for their role in your transformation for their role in holding the vibration that enables the Morrigan to come to merge with you.

And as you send this pulse out to this sacred grove in all directions feel it responds instantly understanding you knowing you and also inviting you to return to this sacred space whenever you'd like as much as you need.

Addressing the tree that you're sit at or lying on bid farewell for now and slowly taking all the time you need coming back into your body back into the room while you're listening to this broadcast.

And as you gently maybe move your fingers and toes or move your head from side to side feel the lightness in your being feel the wisdom the truth the knowing and feel how clear you feel.

And know that you are the energetic tuning fork as you enter into the world back into your life you will be able to discern fear from truth.
