Chiron Retrograde: Surrender To Change

Chiron retrograde is, quite simply, a metaphor for change. With these most basic and mundane/profound energies we are invited to look within. As Gandhi stated: to "be the change we wish to see in the world".

I offer a Goddess lens to Chiron's purpose for our healing. As well as two free recordings from the Goddess Course.

Hello and welcome to Everything is Energy.

Welcome to the energies of Chiron,

Which is stationing on July 11th and turning retrograde through December 15th this year.

These are the perfect energies for this time.

But before I get into this,

I want to quickly make a note that in the previous broadcast I stated,

I was talking about the unique energies of the lunar eclipse that just happened and how these are the same energies that were the predecessor to 9-11 and to the assassination of JFK and Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech.

I spoke the wrong year.

JFK was assassinated in 1963 not 1967 and that is my apologies.

I tend to when I get into feeling and sensing energies things like proper nouns and proper dates tend to fall off the radar.

So I hope that you can bear with me that the date for that eclipse in those events was 63.

All right,

So let's take a deep breath and get into the energies of Chiron.

Chiron as you most likely know this asteroid is known as the wounded healer.

And there's a little bit more to his story.

Chiron was the product of the unwilling union of his mother,

The nymph,

Filaria.

She attracted the attentions of Kronos or Saturn,

And she turned herself into a horse to escape him and he turned himself into a horse and forced himself upon her,

And the product of their union was Chiron.

So when Chiron was born his mother abandoned him.

And his father.

He didn't know it all.

Little bit of a heavy story but there's an interesting parallel to what we're experiencing and I want to offer the word amnesia.

Little bit of a kind of almost like a PTSD amnesia,

Where we don't quite know where we've been.

And when I say that I mean over many,

Many,

Many lifetimes.

Many of us,

Especially living in the Western world have become separated from our tribes and our ancestors and our stories and the magic and wisdom of our ancestors.

I mentioned this in an earlier broadcast about Rome's takeover of the Celtic and Druid cultures.

But regardless of all those stories,

What stands true and what Chiron is helping us to remember is that now is the time for us to remember now,

Right now.

And this uneasy union of opposites is also happening now Chiron was always an uneasy union of opposites,

The way he came into existence was one example,

Along with the fact that he was himself a centaur he was half God,

Half beast.

And Chiron in his duality embodies this essential human problem that we're feeling so poignantly right now that we are as humans we're spirit in a physical body.

And yet we're seeking to remember our wholeness to move beyond the polarization and the separation and to return to what we deeply know at the core of our being that there is no separation.

And that we are not only whole within ourselves.

We are whole with everyone and everything.

So,

A little bit more about Chiron.

Chiron,

As the myth goes formed a friendship with Hercules who was the mightiest of heroes and they often fought together in battle,

Side by side.

And as the story goes in one battle there was a little bit of a confusion and one of Hercules is poisoned arrows injured Chiron's leg.

And that should have been a mortal wound but because Chiron was immortal he could not die.

So part of him had to suffer.

Well,

The divine part of him maintain connection to all life.

And it's thought that this might be one of the reasons that Chiron became a renowned healer,

He spent years and years and years and years studying herbal medicine,

Healing ways,

He became a medicine man in search of a cure.

And while he may have never exactly found the cure at least as this story goes he found something better he found a way to transcend suffering and to become truly whole.

So as Chiron was undertaking this search for healing.

Something interesting was known to happen in the land of the gods Prometheus was one of the Titans.

Prometheus thought man was a pretty good invention.

The best and brightest of all the earth dwelling creatures and he'd be you,

He believed human being should have fire so he stole some from Mount Olympus home of the gods and gave it to humanity.

And before his action of giving humans fire Prometheus received a super harsh punishment he was chained to a rock in the underworld.

And each day a huge eagle or sometimes it's at a Griffin came and ate his liver from his still living body.

And if you don't know liver is one of the organs that grew back so each night Prometheus his liver grew back.

And leaving him there to endure this torment for ever and ever.

Jupiter or Zeus declared that whoever of all the gods wish to might relieve Prometheus of his torment.

If that God is willing to take his place for just one night.

After that single night,

The rescuer would die and become a ghost in the underworld.

Many gods heard this and they thought no way Jose.

Chiron heard it and thought,

I'm already suffering,

And there's no value to my suffering.

If I took Prometheus suffering at least he would be freed.

So Chiron volunteered,

He took Prometheus his place on this rock he endured this torment.

And while Jupiter or Zeus was so impressed with this behavior that he did more than make good on his promise to free Prometheus he liberated Chiron,

Not only from the rock but from the torment of his own wounded body and placed him in the stars as the constellation Sagittarius.

And that's a really interesting story about Chiron,

Especially as we're in these uneasy uncertain times.

Chiron's decision to heal Prometheus by taking on his pain was the exact thing that liberated Chiron himself.

It was truly selfless.

I'm not getting and I'm not suggesting that we martyr ourselves for each other at this point on our planet.

But what I believe this points us to is Chiron's signaling that we are all one.

That our neighbors pain is our own pain.

That our Mother Earth's pain is our pain.

That our neighbors triumphs are also ours and that all the beauty that exists in the world is both within us in the same amount as it exists all over the planet that we are these microcosms of Mama Earth herself.

Interesting thing to consider so this is the energy of Chiron.

Chiron is stationary on July 11.

Stationary stations are known as pivotal times the times of peak intensity it's time when a planet goes from direct to retrograde or from retrograde back to direct.

So we're being invited to pivot.

And or there may be pivotal events that are triggered within us.

And the pivoting theme.

I'd like to suggest is to shift from duality into wholeness.

Chiron's purpose is to restore wholeness.

And around about this time we might be shown,

Or given an invitation to pivot.

So during this time you may feel that there's a little bit of a wounding experience.

It might feel like a fresh wound is being laid in the present it might be a something harkening back to the past but Chiron is inviting us to examine these soft spots,

If you will.

And notice what they symbolize notice if they're reminiscent of a pattern in our past.

Harkening back to something that it might feel like we're experiencing a wound now but also it's linked to something in the past.

It might not be super apparent on the surface but as we sit with the energies we are cyclical experience woundings and cyclical cycles until we free ourselves from them.

So in order for us to return to wholeness.

We need to reconnect the things that have been separated or broken apart.

We need to be mended within ourselves and reintegrated with each other.

So Chiron is going to offer a unique things for each of us.

Chiron has the ability to mend broken homes broken reputations broken relationships,

Broken parts within ourselves broken parts within our world.

And in order for the healing to happen Chiron first must remind us of the earlier thing that got broken so that we can see the cycle.

And the beautiful thing about this energy is if we just surrender to it allow it to happen instead of resisting.

It's very much this energy of learning to move beyond a state of fear.

When we're in a state of fear we're saying no to something.

If we're afraid of the virus we're saying no to the virus if we're afraid of something else we're saying no to that something.

The universe doesn't hear the word no.

We're being invited to instead of fighting against something to surrender and to understand that in that surrender.

We become more integrated and more whole than we've ever been before as we walk through the fear and realize that we are still present.

We have the opportunity to become more whole so stationary Chiron stationary on July 11,

Then goes retrograde until December,

So we have a little bit of time here to go back to revisit to review to swim around a little bit in the original wounding that we might witness and Chiron wants us to entertain to let go of the resistance.

And one of the things that we may be headed toward Chiron is inviting us to remember is that we are not separated from source.

We are in continual and intimate connection to it,

We are the microcosm to the macrocosm so if we can allow for this process of healing to happen.

Not only will we be restored to wholeness but if we're the microcosm we're going to affect the macrocosm and be able to restore wholeness to our planet.

And this gets me to a wonderful talk that I just heard.

There are no accidents in the universe.

Freddy Quispe Cingona is a Peruvian shaman,

And I was listening to him talk a couple days ago.

And it was just so perfect as I knew that this was the next topic that we were going to entertain.

He was talking about something called Taripaipacha,

And in Quechua points us to the need to catch up to new energies,

To catch up to higher frequencies,

To catch up to a new way of life.

Taripaipa means catch up with,

In Quechua,

And Pacha means time and space.

And in their culture it's so cool to note that they use the same word Pacha means time and space.

Time and space are the same thing.

They're not separate.

Time was the father,

Space was the mother.

They were both needed.

And they believe that we're always connected to the past,

The present,

And the future.

So this time,

Taripaipacha,

Which this shaman was saying we are in right now,

Happens when a new cosmic program arrives on our planet.

And the Quechua people in the Andes understood time as cyclical.

They had a name called Pachacuti,

Which referred to cycles of time,

And that could be anything from 12,

000 years to 2,

000 years to 500 years.

I've spoken about the 500 year cycles before.

This particular cycle is inviting us to be completely awake,

Completely self realizing,

And to live and breathe in unconditional service to love,

To each other,

To source.

So we're at this time which is perfect with Chiron pointing out the separation,

Pointing out the things that are severed within us and broken so that we can move,

So that we can catch up.

Not a rush,

But it's in a stillness.

Both the energies of Chiron and this shaman,

I believe are saying the same thing,

Slow down to catch up.

Go inside.

And as we move into introspection,

That's when we really get to see the patterning of our wounding,

Personal and collective.

And it's interesting,

I also wanted to share one of the things that he said,

He said that their culture believes that during these times,

Taripaypacha,

Which is this time of catch up.

They rejoice during these times because they know that the universe is giving them no choice.

It's a time when the cosmic program is taking over the ego,

The personal programs.

And really,

That's the same energy that Chiron is inviting us to let go,

Surrender and release.

So let's get to practice.

And I invite you to travel with me to the mountains in Peru,

The sacred Andean Highlands,

The area of Machu Picchu.

Whether or not you've ever been there before,

Hopefully you can feel the sacredness of this space.

This space is inhabited and guarded by Apus.

Apus in Incan mythology were known as powerful mountain spirits.

The Incas also use the word Apu to refer to the sacred land,

The sacred mountains themselves.

And they believe that each mountain has its own spirit.

These Apu spirits served as protectors watching over the surrounding land and protecting the people that lived on the land.

And in times of trouble or transition the Apus,

These mountain spirits were called upon through offerings.

So let's go together to this sacred land,

The area of Machu Picchu which,

As I'm recording very likely has not too many people there.

And as you arrive,

Breathe in the air,

Feel the breeze.

And as you breathe in you can already feel the tingle as you breathe in the energies of the Apu mountain spirits are there.

And sitting down in reverence with your legs crossed and your eyes closed.

Bring all of your awareness to that mountain top so that you can properly acknowledge and meet these mountain spirits.

And notice both the instantaneous reverence that you feel for these energies.

And it may be a little bit surprising because they're so pure they're so intense.

And all these mountain spirits are asking is for your humbleness for your humility,

And for you to share with them the purity of your heart.

So connect now to your heart.

That beautiful golden flame.

And offer the light of your heart to the Apus.

Imagine that you're you've got this poncho of sorts on and you're opening the poncho to reveal this vast light as an offering for these spirits that you truly come in humility to be with them,

To greet them,

To learn from them,

To be healed by them.

These spirits are constant guardians of everyone and everything in this area and as you are now in their area,

They understand you're under their protection.

Notice how you feel,

The sense of love,

The sense of grounding and this sense of high vibrational energy beginning to lift you up.

And as you breathe in again now with intention,

Take in with your breath the energy that is offered from these Apus,

From these mountain spirits.

Breathe it in into your lungs,

Breathe it into your heart.

Feel the activation.

And as you breathe out,

Send gratitude.

Send your heart light as an offering back to these spirits.

Breathing in,

Taking in the energy.

Feel it activate you,

Cleanse you.

Aiming to help you release so that you can be whole.

Breathe out gratitude.

Continuing to breathe here,

Feel yourself as if you're at the top of the world.

And these huge Apu spirits are surrounding you.

Cleansing you and protecting you with the same unconditionally loving gesture as the Mother Earth herself.

All that they ask is that you come in humility and that you come seeking truth and wholeness and if those are intentions that you feel like invoking right now,

I invite you to feel that within your heart and send that message to these mountain spirits.

You may well feel and already know what separation is needing to be healed within you so as to be healed in our world,

Within your microcosm so that you can offer it as a healing for the macrocosm.

You might ask the Apus for help with a specific thing that Chiron might have already pointed out.

You might generally just invite these spirits to remain with you during this time of rebirth,

During this time of returning to wholeness.

That is what Chiron's retrograde for the next few months until December 15th is going to offer us.

Still seated at the top of this mountain is you look up.

You notice a beautiful condor flying circling directly above you.

The highest flying bird in the world.

The condor wants to remind you that it has the lightest heart.

The people of these regions feel that to be true because it is able to fly the farthest from the earth.

And this condor wants to remind you of a practice.

As you look down,

You pick up a round egg shaped stone,

Holding it in your hands.

Condor communicates with you that this is a version of its heart,

That this is a light and vibrant stone that you can send any heaviness,

Any separation in the months to come into this stone representation of the condor heart.

This is your tool that not only do the appus but the condor as well.

They are here in service.

Just as you are remembering to return to humility and service.

These spirits and these beings live their life as such so they are offering their service to you.

And notice the message of oneness here.

You are these energies.

They are you.

There is no separation.

So the more honor and gratitude you can send them,

The more you are actually sending to an aspect of yourself.

A little bit more time here.

The condor has been circling above you for a few minutes now,

Counterclockwise,

As if to help you release.

And you notice a breeze now moving around you in the same direction,

As if the appus themselves are cleansing and clearing you on so many dimensional levels.

Allow this to happen.

Just simply receive as you breathe in.

Receive into your lungs,

Receive into your heart and as you breathe out send gratitude and appreciation for this gift.

Wonderful.

Wonderful.

And now the condor is departing.

His work with you right now for cleansing is done.

But you have in your hands the stone that is the symbolism of its heart.

And as you look up now,

You realize that night has fallen and here you are in this sacred mountain.

Commune with the appus and as you look up into the night sky you see a vast,

Vast sea of stars.

Beyond the stars there's galaxies,

As if you can see the Milky Way itself.

So many beautiful cloud formations,

So much intelligence coming down from above to meet you at this mountain and so much intelligence and information coming up from below and surrounding you from this land,

From these mountains,

From these appu spirits.

So now beyond words just simply be present with these energies.

Commune with them.

Wonderful.

So as you're breathing in next take all of this in,

Imagine that you're sealing it,

Receiving it in every single cell of your physical body and every aspect of your field all of this light codes from above the healing energies from all around you.

These ancient spirits of the earth that have been here for centuries and centuries,

Thousands of years and stars above the same.

I want you to know that they're here for you and that during this time of returning,

Remembering wholeness that you can come here you can come to these mountains to these sacred mountains for upgrades for healing for release.

The only thing that they ask is that you come up with a clear heart,

And with a humble heart.

So now,

I invite you to consider what gesture of gratitude.

How can you potentially enact in your life as you prepare to come back and do your body still lingering in this mountaintop How can you bring this back into your life,

What can you do to pay forward to acknowledge that your cup is full offering thanks to these mountain spirits.

There's no act too big or too small.

They want you to know.

The important part is that it comes from your heart.

And these spirits want to teach you how to teach us to remember,

Which is translates roughly as reciprocity which means I give because my cup is already full.

I give because I've received I give because I am whole.

The fanciness that you have something to give whether it's a smile to someone who needs it,

Friendly message.

Any kind of gesture that you would like to offer anyone or anything on our planet symbolically states that your cup of joy and of well being is full.

Alright so thanking the opposite,

Thanking stars,

Potentially knowing what you might want to offer in your daily life as a gesture of gratitude for this healing for this transmission for this support during Chiron retrograde 2020.

And now for the time coming back into your body wherever you're listening to this recording.

Knowing that you can go back to those sacred mountains to meet the mountain spirits whenever as often as you'd like,
