Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Everything is Energy.

Welcome to Retrograde Season 2020.

We're in it right now as I record.

But we already in a previous podcast,

I mentioned Pluto and Retrograde.

Right now we have three powerful planets headed back,

Headed into Retrograde and I want to share with you a little bit about what each of those unique energies are and hopefully present a theme that can help us in understanding what exactly is going on and why.

Because I find that we humans in the third dimensional world,

Our minds get a little bit stuck when we don't get it.

But if we can have a way to reconcile what's happening,

We can find a lot of peace in this moment.

So let's get started with Saturn.

Saturn went retrograde as of May 10th,

2020.

It will be retrograde until September 28th this year.

Saturn is the planet of karma,

Structure,

Patience and life lessons.

And Saturn is in the sign of Aquarius.

Aquarius is free expression.

Aquarius is fighting for a cause.

Aquarius is creative new ideas for a bright future.

So hopefully you can feel how these two energies and Saturn is going retrograde in this energy.

So there's two things here.

It almost feels polarizing.

We have structure and life lessons and karma.

And then we have freedom of expression and fighting for a cause and new ways of being.

And we're being invited.

Well,

First we can probably feel the desire within us to get these two energies,

The structure,

The karma and the fighting for our cause.

We know which one we want,

We know which one we don't want.

And we're being invited right now to,

In this retrograde to alchemize.

Retrogrades right now,

It's time for us to go back before going forward.

So there's some lessons for us with Saturn,

Planet of karma,

Going backwards in the energy of free expression and fighting for a cause.

And we're being invited right now to review,

To revise and to rewrite our collective story.

And we have a little bit of time on our hands.

Patience is of the essence right now.

We have until middle of December this year when Saturn will return to Aquarius.

Oh,

I forgot to mention.

So Saturn is retrograding out of Aquarius and then will again return.

So we will have this freedom fighting for a cause and forward moving energy of karma in December of this year.

And it's going to be a big key to 2021 because that energy is going to align with Jupiter.

But let's get to what's happening right now and the theme.

So we also have Venus going retrograde from May 12th or 13th,

Depending on where you're at to June 24th and 25th this year,

Venus is the planet of love and beauty.

She's going backwards in Gemini.

And I mentioned in an earlier podcast that goddess Persephone and the energy here is,

You know,

To,

That we're adaptable and it's okay to be of two minds about things.

And we can likely all feel that within us right now.

Part of us feels worthy.

Part of us feels ready.

Part of us wants change.

And part of us is a little bit uncertain because the world that we know is not looking the same way that it always does.

So again,

Retrograde is this time to go backwards versus forwards.

Time to revisit our own stories.

We visit our collective stories,

Time to revisit and rewrite.

And we also have right now Jupiter going retrograde from May 10th to September 13th this year,

Jupiter is the planet of expansion and abundance and optimism.

And it's going back.

It's in the sun of Capricorn.

Capricorn is sure-footed,

Self-disciplined and likes long hard work.

And again,

We can feel these two energies,

These two ways,

The wanted and the unwanted.

So while part of us wants expansion and abundance and optimism and knows that's possible,

We're retrograding in this energy of long hard work and self-discipline.

And the word alchemize is coming up again.

Because it doesn't have to be so black and white in this retrograde season,

It's time for us to go back to revisit before we go forward.

We're invited to rewrite our collective story right now.

So all three of these planets,

Saturn,

Venus and Jupiter are inviting us to have another look at who we are as a human race.

How do we treat each other?

How do we treat ourselves?

How do we treat our planet?

And what have we been trained by the collective to habitually prioritize?

If it's our self and our ego,

It's because we've been fed the message that there's not enough money or things or love that we're not good enough.

And we right now are invited to revisit and rewrite these collectively held norms and beliefs.

And there's a goddess here.

Her energy is oh so perfect and potent for this season.

This time that can seem like a long time to get to the end of 2020.

We will see some forward momentum in the months to come,

But it might not be fully clear.

We have we have a goddess Keridwen,

Celtic goddess Keridwen.

She is a keeper.

She is the keeper of the cauldron of knowledge,

Inspiration and rebirth.

She's the goddess known as the keeper,

Who's the keeper of the cauldron.

She's also the goddess of the underworld because this cauldron was magical.

Whatever was put into it was somehow reborn,

Rebirthed,

Healed,

Made well.

She's known as a crone goddess because she represents the aspect of death and transformation so as to be able to be reborn.

And she's also known as a triple goddess,

Which is the embodiment of all three goddesses,

The maiden,

The mother and the crone,

And that she understands and embodies all three.

So I want to share with you a little bit of information,

A story about her and also just what's what's known about her.

Her cauldron,

The cauldron of knowledge,

Inspiration,

Rebirth has been referred to as the Holy Grail by many.

The Holy Grail,

Which is what King Arthur spent his life searching for.

The Holy Grail has those same energies of being able to transmute and transform,

To heal and make whole.

And Keridwen had,

As the story goes,

She had two children.

The daughter was beautiful,

Fair and light,

And her son was dark,

Ugly and malevolent.

And she had the idea to use her magical cauldron to create a potion that would help and heal her son.

So she created this brew and it was meant to be stirred for a year and a day to reach its full potency.

It's also said by many that just the first few drops of this cauldron liquid were magical,

The rest was poison.

So she had one of her helpers start to stir.

That was his job to stir the pot,

To stir the pot.

And somehow as time went on,

He became a little bit lazy and he splashed some of this magical liquid out of the cauldron and onto himself.

And he quickly put his hands over the liquid and he put his hands to his mouth and he instantly became transformed into a wise and eloquent,

Powerful young man.

And when he realized that what had happened was that he had taken the magic that Keridwen wanted for her own son and gifted it to himself,

He ran away.

He didn't want the goddess to be upset and he turned himself into a variety of animals,

A rabbit.

Keridwen knew what happened and so she shape shifted and turned herself into a coyote or a fox to hunt the rabbit and then he turned himself into a fish in the ocean and then she became a hawk.

So there was this story of the shape shifting.

Ultimately,

He turned himself into a seed and she became a chicken and she ate the seed.

And as the story goes,

She then became pregnant and she knew that she was pregnant with this seed.

And the child that she birthed,

Again,

Was this powerful,

Bright,

Astute,

Eloquent young man.

And he went on to become a bard in the court of Elphin,

The Celtic prince.

And he became one of the most well-known bards in the Welsh tradition.

And this story is interesting because it shows us this idea of wanted to be wanted and unwanted and we can put ourselves in Keridwen's place.

So right now time wants us to make a potion and we get to consider right now what we want to put into that cauldron and also we get to be invited if we do have a very clear outcome,

Can we release our attachment to the outcome?

In that story,

Her initial intention did not come to light.

But then ultimately in that story,

Her intention did come to light.

And what was meant to happen ultimately happened and the magic did work.

So this is the energy of this retrograde season.

And we are accompanied by Keridwen,

This goddess of the underworld,

Who's inviting us to,

First as she did,

To consider what are the things that we know that we want shifted?

What is heavy and dense and dark energy in our world and our lives?

What is fearful?

What can we put into that cauldron so that as it stirred during this retrograde season,

It becomes light and bright and transformed?

So let's take a little bit of a journey right now to meet this goddess.

Either sit or lie somewhere with a straight spine,

Close your eyes.

An imagine that you're transported into a wooded forest at night.

And in front of you is a massive iron gate.

And as you touch the iron gate,

The door swings open and you can sense that you're being invited in.

It's dark,

But you do not feel afraid.

You feel as if you're right where you need to be.

And off in the distance,

There is a tunnel that has light coming out of it.

And you head instinctively toward that tunnel,

Down into the earth you go,

Feeling very much as if you are coming home as you head down into the womb of the earth.

And as you follow this tunnel down underground,

You emerge into this vast,

Beautiful underground cavern.

The light is low,

But you can see there's a figure in the center of the room and off to her side is a cauldron and she's beckoning you.

She's inviting you to come sit next to her.

Keridwin,

Notice as you approach how she looks if she has a cape if she's old or young.

Notice beyond her looks how safe you feel with this powerful goddess of transformation.

She has this grandmother-like energy where she knows you.

She already knows why you're here.

But she invites you to tell her,

To speak to her about what is on your mind and on your heart.

Energetically right now,

Or in your own mind or aloud,

You can speak to her.

Let her know what's weighing you down.

Let her know what the fears are.

And just notice how she stares with you lovingly,

But unaffected by your story,

Just witnessing for you as you share with her.

And as you come to the end of your list of fears,

This goddess pauses in silence as if to allow and just make sure that there's nothing else that you want to share that's heavy or dark or weighing on you.

So take a deep breath,

Go inside and notice if there's something else that's lingering there.

And as you empty out the last bits of heaviness to share with her,

You notice something moving.

She's holding in her hands,

Something in her palm and she's turning it over and over and she opens her hands up to share with you this small black stone about the size of a golf ball.

And you realize what's happening,

What was happening as you were sharing with her all of your fears,

She had been putting them into this stone,

This dense,

Heavy,

Dark stone.

And she shows it to you to,

To signalize that this stone does contain those fears.

And she next invites you to get up and walk with her over to this large cauldron suspended over a fire.

And she asks your permission to drop this stone that contains all your heaviness into the cauldron for transformation over time.

So take a moment and notice within you,

Are you ready to release,

Truly ready for transformation?

Are you ready to let go of all of that heaviness?

And the answer becomes yes.

Keridwin drops that stone into the cauldron and it steams and it hisses and it bubbles in reaction to the stone.

And then lovingly and gently she takes this giant wooden spoon and she just gently,

Gracefully starts to stir and stir the cauldron as if adding her blessing to your transformation,

To your rebirth.

And notice how this goddess is doing the work for you.

She's the one that's seeing you,

Wise,

Knowledgeable,

Inspired,

Strong.

And she's lovingly as she's stirring this cauldron,

She's infusing the liquid with her best and utmost brightest version for you and everything that you shared with her.

She is the keeper of the Holy Grail.

This is the practice that she uses to transform energy.

As she's stirring,

You can see visions as if the top of the fluid of the cauldron is some sort of a screen where you can view your future,

Yourself freed from all of this heaviness,

All of the fear.

And she's visualizing you with an open heart,

Wise,

Strong,

Inspired.

And she's visualizing you in a vast sea of other similarly vibrating beings.

Notice how good it feels to be able to surrender.

She's sharing with you that you don't have to carry the energy and that you don't have to do the transformation yourself.

That is her realm.

That is her job.

And this is the only thing that she wants to do.

And just feel already the relief as if your body takes a deep breath,

Just surrendering and realizing that you don't have to do it yourself.

And as she's stirring,

She's stirring slowly and she's reminding you gently that in her lore,

This cauldron needed to be steeped and brewed for a year and a day to reach its potency.

And now she's saying not to rely on that exact number of human days,

But to understand the energetic significance of the length of time,

The energy,

And she's also showing us that as we have these energies in this retrograde season,

The things that we want and the things that we don't want to realize that some of the things that are present are really just waiting to be alchemically transformed.

That patience and life lessons are good things.

That being sure-footed helps a tree to stand strong and grow tall.

So she steps away from the cauldron and brings you back to sit next to her,

Getting ready to bid you farewell.

Notice if she has any final messages for you.

She wants you to know that she will continue to keep this cauldron.

That is her job and that this alchemical cauldron of transformation,

Often called the Holy Grail,

Will activate for you exactly when it's needed.

And she's honored that you shared with her everything that you wanted to release and that you can come back here whenever you need,

If there's more that you want to give to her.

Staring into her eyes,

Any other communication between you and her.

And in a gesture of respect and gratitude,

Bringing your palms together over your heart and just gently touching your heart and bowing your head.

And then you know it's time to leave.

So back out through the tunnel.

Bid her farewell.

Know that she's here for you whenever you need and that she's thrilled to be the keeper of the cauldron.

And feel yourself as you head back up towards the surface out from this underground cave,

Yourself getting lighter and also that you are simply content to be here and now that you can feel your feet touching the earth.

And as you come out of this underground cave into this forest,

Notice now that it's softly bathed in light from the moon and that the stars above you are greeting you.

And notice how good it feels to just simply be in this forest.

And when you're ready to take this experience with you,

Bring yourself back into your body.

Bring yourself back into the chair where you're seated or the room where you're listening.

And as you open your eyes,

Notice,

Feel how this shift is within you,

That you are right now feeling lighter,

Feeling present.

Feel your feet on the ground.

And as you look around,

It's almost as if you're looking with new eyes.

The colors have shifted.

If you look out the window,

The natural world seems to be more refined,

Brighter,

Clearer.

It's as if already Keridwin,

Keeper of the Cauldron,

Is working her magic.

Slowly and gently.

All right.

Thank you all for joining us always.

I will put a link for you with some more information about this goddess.

And cheers to retrograde season.

Know that you are right exactly where you need to be and that this goddess is here to receive everything that you want to release for transformation.

Much love.
