Welcome.

Take a moment to find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes gently,

If that feels right to you,

And let your hands rest easily in your lap or by your sides.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

Hold it for a moment,

And then slowly let your breathing settle into its natural rhythm,

And with each exhale,

Feel your body becoming a little softer,

A little more at ease.

As you continue breathing at your own pace,

Slowly and deeply,

Notice the surface beneath you,

The way it supports you effortlessly.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment,

Leaving behind any distractions or worries.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring your awareness to your heart space,

The center of your chest.

Imagine a soft,

Warm light glowing there,

A light that represents gratitude.

With each inhale,

See this light grow a little brighter,

Filling you with warmth and comfort.

Gratitude is always within us,

Even during challenging times.

It might be quiet,

But it's there,

Waiting to be noticed.

Today,

We'll gently invite it forward.

Now,

Think of one thing in your life,

Big or small,

That you're grateful for in this moment.

It could be a person,

A place,

An experience,

Or even something as simple as the breath you're taking right now.

Picture this thing clearly in your mind.

Notice how it makes you feel,

Perhaps a sense of joy,

Comfort,

Or peace.

Let these feelings expand within you,

Filling your heart space and radiating outward.

If you'd like,

Silently say thank you to this thing,

Allowing the words to resonate deeply within you.

Feel the connection,

The appreciation,

And the warmth that gratitude brings.

Now,

Shift your focus to this moment,

Feeling gratitude for the time you've taken for yourself today,

For the stillness,

And for the opportunity to connect with your inner peace.

Gratitude doesn't need to be complicated.

It can be as simple as appreciating the air you're breathing,

The sensations in your body,

Or the silence around you.

Take a few breaths here,

Simply being present with this feeling of gratitude.

Gratitude has the power to transform our lives because it allows our brains and minds to focus on the positive and the abundance that we have,

Thereby inviting more of that into our lives.

The more we practice this gratitude,

The more we'll see it in our lives.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you.

Notice the weight of your body,

The surface beneath you,

And the sounds that you can hear.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Carry this sense of gratitude with you.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Feeling grounded,

Peaceful,

And connected.

Thank you for taking this time to honor yourself and to embrace the power of gratitude.
