Welcome to this guided meditation,

During which we'll be creating a sacred space for embracing change,

New beginnings,

And the power of letting go.

Whether you're listening to this meditation as a preparation to enter the new year,

Or any new chapter that is ahead of you,

This is your opportunity to take this time to pause,

Reflect,

And create space for fresh possibilities.

Together,

We'll invite ease,

Clarity,

And grounding on this transformative journey.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Let's begin by becoming aware of your body.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your weight.

Imagine a magnetic charge being sent out of your body deep into the earth,

Anchoring you securely.

With each breath,

Let yourself feel more stable,

More grounded,

And more present.

In this very moment,

There is nothing to do and nowhere to be.

It's just you,

Your body,

Your breath,

Right here in this moment.

As you settle into this grounded space,

Let's begin to reflect on the year that has passed by by asking ourselves some reflective questions.

What has been my biggest challenge this year?

This might have been a specific event or circumstance,

Or it might have been a pattern that you kept finding yourself in,

Or maybe something else.

Just beginning to bring some awareness.

In order to bring change,

We need to know what hasn't been working,

So that way we can begin to let go.

How has this challenge perhaps helped me grow?

All of our challenges are here to teach us something.

It can be difficult to see the lesson when we're in the midst of it all,

So taking a step back and viewing it from an outside perspective can help us make sense of what its purpose was.

So just taking this time to reflect on this.

The difficulties and challenges we have are because we're holding on to what no longer served us.

The more we internalize that everything in life is temporary and transient,

And we begin to practice non-attachment,

It becomes so much easier to let go sooner and move forward.

Now I'd like you to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful forest path.

The air is crisp and fresh,

Carrying the faint scent of pine and wildflower.

The sunlight filters gently through the trees,

Casting a warm golden glow on everything that it touches.

Bring your awareness back to your breath,

Inhaling deeply,

Feeling gratitude for the release you've experienced.

Inhale,

Grounding yourself in this moment.

Place your hands over your hearts and thank yourself for showing up and embracing this opportunity for transition and renewal.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of clarity and purpose with you into the new year and into your new chapter.
