Good morning and welcome.
This meditation is here to help you begin your day with a deep sense of peace and clarity,
To reconnect with yourself and gently create space for calm,
Intention and presence.
Wherever you are,
Take a moment to settle in.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable and start by taking a deep steady breath in through your nose,
Then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling your lungs completely and exhale,
Softening your body,
Your jaw,
Any tension in your muscles.
Feel yourself arrive in this moment,
Letting the thoughts of yesterday fade,
Let the future wait,
This is your time to come home to yourself.
Now imagine yourself stepping into a quiet natural space at dawn,
Your bare foot on cool soft earth and in front of you is a wide still lake.
The surface of the water is calm,
So still that it reflects the early morning sky like a mirror.
The air is fresh,
Cool and filled with a quiet stillness.
You notice the soft light of the rising sun touching the tops of the trees.
Everything around you feels calm and unhurried.
It's as if the whole world is holding its breath in peace.
You find a place to sit at the water's edge,
Maybe on a smooth rock,
Off ground,
Beneath a tree.
You feel supported by the earth beneath you,
The gentle breeze brushes your skin,
The rhythmic sounds of the natural world surround you,
Birds chirping in the distance,
Water lapping gently on the shore.
You are fully present,
Fully safe,
Let the stillness of this lake reflect something inside of you,
That underneath any noise or stress,
You too have this quiet place within you,
A space of clarity,
Peace and knowing.
Allow yourself to breathe into this space now,
Inhaling peace,
Exhaling anything happy,
And with each breath,
Your mind becomes clearer.
As you sit by the water,
Ask yourself gently,
What does peace feel like in my body right now?
Not the idea of peace,
But the actual feeling of it.
Notice where it lives and what it feels like.
And now ask,
If I moved through my day from this space of clarity and stillness,
What would change?
What would I release?
What would I invite in?
Let your mind wander softly with these questions,
No need to solve anything,
Just notice.
This is the clarity that comes from stillness,
The knowing that doesn't need to be forced,
Only felt.
Now gently begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel a support beneath you,
Wiggling your fingers or toes.
If your hand is near your heart,
Press gently,
Reminding yourself that this calm,
Clear space lives within you.
You can return to it at any time.
As we close,
Take one final deep breath in and release.
And if it feels right,
Set an intention for your day to carry this inner calm with you,
To move from clarity rather than chaos,
To trust that peace is always within reach.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Take in the space around you and step into your day with ease and presence.
