Welcome to this harmonious soma breath journey,

Connecting you to your natural rhythm and flow.

Sitting upright or lying down,

Get comfortable and adjust your alignment to balance the right and left side of your body.

Bring your palms to the sky and place them comfortably by your side.

Now gently close your eyes and go within.

Bring your awareness to your breath as you breathe in and out naturally through your nose,

Becoming fully present to the flow of your breath.

On your next breath in,

Squeeze every muscle in your body,

Then release,

Let go,

And become more and more.

As you're breathing,

Use your breath as a guiding light to scan your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

If you find any areas of stiffness,

Tension,

Pain,

Or darkness,

Breathe into those areas with your breath of light and transmute the darkness as you wash it away and release it from your body with your gentle exhales.

Feel yourself grounded and connected to the earth below while feeling the lightness of the air above.

The earth and the universe have a natural rhythm and flow.

You too have your own natural rhythm and flow.

As we begin breathing in beats,

Connect with the rhythm and flow of your breath as you connect to your inner harmony.

Keep breathing in through the nose for 4 beats,

And out through your mouth for 4.

Smooth and connected breaths from your inhales to your exhales,

And from your exhales to your inhales.

No pausing in between.

Let's get ready,

And get ready for an exhale breath hold.

Release all the air from your lungs.

Empty out and hold.

As you release your breath.

You release any thoughts,

Tensions and stagnant energy that no longer serve you.

When you release your breath.

You release the ego.

Becoming completely still.

Completely free to be at one with yourself and all that is.

If you get a strong urge to breathe.

Take a small sip in.

Release and go deeper.

Connect to your true nature.

Your own rhythm and flow.

At any point take a small sip.

Release and keep holding.

When you can no longer hold it.

Circulate that energy from your pelvic area.

Up through your spine.

Into your heart.

Up through the crown of your head.

Lighting up every cell within your body.

Take a nourishing deep breath in.

Hold that breath.

Connect to your rhythm.

Connect to your harmony.

Connect to your nature.

Feel inspired and at peace.

And then release and let go.

And as you let go.

Let your breath go back to its natural rhythm and flow.

In and out through your nose.

Reconnected to its innate rhythm and harmony.

Reconnecting you to your true nature.

So that you can flow through the rest of your day.

Connected to the natural beat of your heart,

Mind and spirit.

Thank you for this exciting practice. This is my first soma breathing track I loved it. I just accepted an invitation to attend a somatic workshop here in Boise not knowing what it entailed. lol just grabbing life with both hands. Wow, I bookmarked your practice and will revisit it again thank you again.
