Find a quiet,

Safe place to meditate.

Sit or recline comfortably.

When ready,

Close your eyes.

Begin to relax the body.

Breathe slowly.

Patiently deepen each breath.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Find a gentle rhythm in the breath.

Focus on the breath.

Move it from the chest down to the belly.

Breathe out tension with each exhale.

All that matters is this moment.

This is your moment to rest.

Relax deeper and deeper.

Breathe in calmness and stillness.

Breathe out tightness from head and neck.

Let go of tension in shoulders and arms.

Welcome serenity in the spine.

Let it embrace the back,

Belly,

And hips.

They are all relaxed.

Tightness melts from thighs and calves.

Even the feet and toes are relaxed now.

Feel the embrace of ultimate peace.

Feel light like a feather.

The body is free.

We are free.

Our awareness is sharper.

Our senses keener.

This energy is vibrant,

Bigger than us.

Deeper and deeper calm washes over us.

We are relaxed.

We are at peace.

The next breath fills the heart.

Our hearts radiate loving energy.

Our entire being emanates this love.

Now we breathe love.

Deeper and deeper love shines from us.

We are love.

We are love.

We are love.

Bask in this peaceful discovery.

If the mind wanders,

Focus again on breath.

It's time to come back now.

Feel your hands where they are.

Feel your feet where they are.

Take some cleansing breaths.
