Good morning,
Good afternoon,
Good evening,
Good night.
Once again,
Wherever you are,
Whatever time of day it is for you,
Welcome to time out.
That special time that we take for ourselves,
For our bodies to recover emotionally,
Physically and mentally from the stresses of our day or night.
So let's practice taking that deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
Once again,
A deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
This time to add to our focus and concentration.
See the number four as you take a deep breath in,
Perhaps in colors,
Perhaps in words and see the number seven in your mind as you breathe out.
So let's try that,
A deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
Once more and this time perhaps you might like to count to four and seven as you see the numbers and the colors.
A deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
Let your eyes just gently close now and take yourself to that space behind your eyes,
Keeping your eyes in there closed.
Imagine,
Imagine that you are standing beside a swimming pool.
It may be one you have,
It may be one you've been to,
It may be a complete imaginative creation of yours,
Somewhere you'd like to be.
It's a perfect day for swimming pools,
Blue sky,
Warm sunshine,
Perhaps even a gentle breeze.
Notice how the sun shines and reflects in the water,
The clarity of the water,
The color of the water determined by the color of the pool.
Become aware of your surroundings,
Where is your pool set?
Become aware of the sounds and now sit and let your feet dangle in the water.
Notice the patterns your feet create when they move the water.
Feel the water lapping gently around your legs and feet.
Now just over there is a floating device,
It may be a funny one or a normal one,
A lilo I will call it,
So find a way now to walk around to the steps and lie down on the lilo.
Totally safe,
Totally comfortable,
Just resting on it and let it drift on the water,
Feeling totally supported,
Looking up at the sky,
The clouds,
The warmth of the sun,
That gentle breeze just moving you and drifting you across the surface.
Trail your fingers in the water.
Let the tension flow from them,
From your toes and your legs,
Your whole body through your fingers and dissolve into the water.
Drift,
Relax,
Nowhere else to be,
Nothing to do.
Notice now a winged seed floating and drifting above you,
Just watch it,
How the light breeze catches it and moves it.
Watch it drift down,
Down and land on your hand.
With it comes ideas for the future,
Your wishes,
Let the seed absorb them,
Your ideas,
Your wishes for the future and then just let it drift off your hand and into your future,
Waiting for you.
And now before we go in this place of peace and stillness and calmness,
There may be something you need to ask for,
For help.
Ask,
Ask and let it drift into the future.
You can spend as long as you like now on your lilo,
On your swimming pool and when you're ready just bring yourself back and I hope to see you again on our next journey in time out.
