When we release our grasp on the things that no longer serve us, we open up our lives to new possibilities and experiences. When we accept where we are, and allow the waters of life to take us where we are meant to be, we are able to access peace and discover the amazing life meant for us.

The waters of life surround us.

We have the opportunity to just float and allow the waters of life to take us where we are meant to be.

When we try to swim against these waters,

Hold on,

Try to control,

We are only bringing strife into our life.

Let us release,

Let us open our palms and let go of the grasp and allow the waters of life to carry us where we should go.

Let us take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose and release that breath out of your mouth.

Again,

Another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose and release out your mouth.

And just become aware of how your body breathes naturally for you each and every day.

How are you given life?

Do you breathe in and out of your nose,

In and out of your mouth or a combination of the two?

Let's witness your breath for a few moments.

Bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.

Allow this area of your face to soften and allow that softness to spread up your forehead,

Around your eyes,

Your temples,

Down your cheekbones.

Allow the corners of your mouth to soften,

Your chin.

Allow that softness to move up your jawline to your ears and allow that softness to enter your ears.

And bring your awareness to where your skull and jaw meet,

The temporomandibular joint where we tend to hold so much tension as human beings.

Just allow this area to soften and release,

Soften and release.

Elongate your spine,

Lift your chin,

Bring your shoulders up and back.

And just allow yourself to fall into the meditation.

Allow the waters of life to support you,

To carry you.

Bring your awareness to your natural breath.

How are you giving life each and every day?

How does your body breathe for you?

Just notice.

Continue to float without resistance,

Knowing that you are held by Mother Earth,

Knowing that you are supported by Father Sky.

You have unconditional love surrounding you always.

The waters of life carry you where you are meant to be,

Carry you to the next chapter of your life,

To your purpose.

Just allow,

Allow these waters of life to carry you where you are meant to be.

And let us bring to mind the mantra,

I trust,

I trust.

And with each inhale and each exhale,

Let us repeat the words silently in our mind and in our throat.

I trust,

I trust.

I trust,

I trust.

I trust.

And let us take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose and release that breath out your mouth.

With your eyes still closed,

Become aware of your surroundings,

How your body feels,

The noises you may hear.

Put a big smile on your face and when you are ready,

Open your eyes.
