Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or lying on your back.
Start by making any shifts in your body to allow yourself to come into a better place of comfort.
Before you close your eyes,
Take a moment to slowly look around your space.
Just take a moment here to check in and notice where you are.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What are you touching?
Just allow yourself to absorb the sensory information that has been made available to you.
Once you've settled in,
Now gently close your eyes and begin to bring awareness to your breath.
Taking a moment to first observe without judgment.
Try not to change anything.
Just notice.
Notice the quality of your breath.
Are your inhales and exhales short,
Shallow,
Or sharp?
Or are they long,
Deep,
And smooth?
Just notice how you've derived here in this moment.
Now bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Notice what distractions seem to replay in your mind.
What tends to show up when you allow yourself to get still?
Again,
Without creating any judgment or stories around the thoughts,
Just notice.
Are they positive,
Negative?
Do you find yourself growing frustrated because the mind begins to wander?
Just observe.
Now begin to transform your breath.
Begin to intentionally make your inhalations and exhalations of equal length.
Maybe extending them for a count of three or four.
So inhaling for one,
Two,
Three,
And four,
And then releasing for that equal count of three,
Two,
And one.
And then just continue to breathe here.
Maybe you consider taking a pause at the top of every inhale right before you release.
And then notice the pause at the bottom of every exhale.
From here,
Maybe you begin to add more length to every exhale.
So breathing in for a count of three or four.
And then exhaling for a count of five or six.
Perhaps more calm and ease begin to come over your body as things begin to slow down.
As you continue to breathe with intention,
Bring your awareness to something you would like to release.
What are you needing to let go of today?
Now visualize yourself in an open field.
As you look around,
You see pieces of scraps of things that no longer serves you.
Maybe it's stress,
Worry,
Self-doubt,
Or negative thoughts.
Or perhaps it's a person who has caused you harm,
Regret,
And pain in the past.
Whatever it may be,
Take a moment to visualize those things that are not needed all around you.
You begin to start collecting all of these pieces in your arms.
As you gather each of these things one by one,
Slowly begin to walk over towards the edge of a cliff.
As you look over and below,
You see emptiness.
You open your arms and allow all of the things to fall off of you,
Releasing them all into the emptiness below,
Letting go,
Release.
With every exhale,
You feel the weight releasing off of you as you let it go.
You continue to watch the pieces fall off until they are out of sight.
Repeat this mantra in your mind.

I am able to let go of what no longer serves me.
I am able to let go of what no longer serves me.
Notice your body feeling lighter.
Notice your mind becoming more at ease.
Notice an overall feeling of peace all around you.
Now,
Think of what you would like to take in.
Maybe it's joy,
Peace,
Happiness,
Or contentment.
Whatever it may be,
Begin to focus all of your energy there.
As you begin to make your way back to the center of the field,
You look all around you and begin to see beautiful flowers of joy,
Peace,
Happiness,
And contentment begin to bloom.
The grass is greener.
The sun begins to peek from behind the clouds.
You feel its warmth.
With every inhale,
You feel the positive energy filling up your body.
Notice yourself coming into a better state of mind.
Notice the fullness of your spirit.
Repeat this mantra in your mind.

Hold on to this feeling.
Know that you have control over your mind.
Think on positive things and it will be.

Take one more slow inhale through your nose and gently release it out of your mouth.
Let it go.
And when you are ready,
Slowly flutter your eyes open and continue on with your day.
