Hi,
Thank you so much for joining me for our mantra practice today.
I'm looking forward to sharing it with you.
We will be singing the Aññasara invocation together.
The Aññasara mantra is Om Namah Shivaya Gurave Sachi Dhananda Murtaye Nis Prapanchaya Shantaya Nira Lambaya Tejase.
Let's break the mantra down into its individual parts.
When we sing the word Om,
We invoke the sound of creation,
Bringing the mantra to life within us.
Namah Shivaya means to bow in respect to the divine energy present with us.
Gurave is a thank you to all the teachers who show up in our life to help us learn the lessons that assist us in growing.
Sachi Dhananda is I am at the foot of awareness and I'm grateful.
Murtaye is invoking the essence of peace all around us.
Nis Prapanchaya is recognizing that the presence of grace exists in this moment now.
Shantaya is asking that the unconditional love present in source is also present within me.
And Nira Lambaya Tejase is invoking the light of illumination for our path.
If we were to translate the mantra into one phrase,
It might sound something like I open to the power of divine grace that radiates the light of peace through me.
And that's what we will be doing today for our mantra practice,
Invoking the light of illumination through us and back out into the world.
For today's practice,
We will sing our mantra together for 11 minutes and 11 seconds.
The first 11 is honoring the connection of ourselves with our higher selves.
And the second 11 is honoring the connection of our higher self to all that is.
Now as we move into the time of practice,
Let's bring our hands together in Anjali Mudra,
Prayer position,
With our hands clasped in front of our chest,
Connecting with our heart.
From this prayerful place and grounded position,
Let's take a deep breath in,
Moving the breath up through our spine,
Connecting to the higher self that is with us,
And gently exhaling.
Now let's set our intention for that which we would like to uplift during this practice.
Take this time now to set your intention and hold it in your heart.
Taking another deep breath in and exhaling,
We will move into our mantra now.

Om Davis Thank you so much for joining me today for our Anya-sara mantra.
I'd like to close our practice with a poem by Rinpoche Patrul.
The poem is Use the Time of Your Life.
Use the time of your life.
Develop your inner happiness.
Recognize the impermanence of all outer pleasure.
Live as a yogi.
Do your spiritual practices.
Work as a bodhisattva for a happy world.
Become an Amitabha,
A Buddha of love and light.
Turn your world into the paradise of Sukhya Vati by unfolding the enlightenment energy within you.
Search you a spiritual teacher who knows the goal of enlightenment.
Change your world into a place blessed by grace by understanding all the phenomena as spiritual exercises.
Dedicate your actions to the benefit of all beings.
Send all beings light.
Live for the happiness of all so you receive the energy of light.
And may the blessings of this practice move with you throughout your day.
Namaste.
