Glenn Harrold is one of the world’s most successful self-help authors. He has sold over ten million meditation recordings and has written eight self-help books for Orion and McGraw Hill. Glenn has produced 260 meditations, published through BBC Audiobooks, Orion and Diviniti all of which are available in his main app Ultimate Hypnosis and Meditation. He has appeared on BBC TV, BBC Radio 2, Radio 5 Live, Sky Sports and Channel 4. In 2011 he was made a Fellow of The British School of Clinical Hypnosis. He happily resides on the Portuguese Algarve.

I have been a devoted listener of Glenn's work since around 2004, when I first discovered his recordings on CD, and in all that time I have never stopped recommending him to others. "Relax & Sleep Well" is one of the tracks I return to most consistently on Insight Timer, and it earns its place on my nightly sleep playlist without question. His voice carries a quality that is almost impossible to describe to someone who hasn't experienced it. It is warm, steady, and deeply trustworthy, and when it is accompanied by the subtle background soundscapes woven throughout the recording, the combination creates something that feels less like listening and more like being gently guided home. Within minutes of pressing play, I can feel my nervous system beginning to settle. My thoughts, which can be persistent and noisy, gradually lose their grip. The focus on de-stressing and releasing the day is precisely what I need before sleep. I listen each night using SleepPhones headbands, so the audio plays softly throughout my sleep, and the effect on the quality of my rest has been profound. I struggle with nightmares and sleep disruption, and this track, as part of my nightly playlist of Glenn's work, makes a genuine, measurable difference to how long I stay asleep and how peacefully I do so. It is not an exaggeration to say that these recordings have become a regular, consistent form of healing for me. Peaceful, calming, grounding, centering, balanced. A great way to enter the day with clarity, calmness, and equanimity. Glenn’s voice is tranquil and hypnotic. This meditation is great for anyone facing a challenging day with deflecting negativity and wishing to not absorb anyone’s emotions. Gentle reminders to protect our energetic fields and cultivate a sense of peace and balance within ourselves were soothing.
