Hi and welcome to this meditation.
I'm Dr.
Patti Halava of Awaken Peace Healing.
Begin by taking a moment and finding a comfortable seat.
Letting your spine be straight and your shoulder soft.
Taking a nice rich breath in through the nose.
Pausing at the top of the inhale.
And gently opening the mouth and exhaling with a sigh.
Softening through the muscles in the forehead,
The eyes and the jaw.
Taking another nice slow steady breath in through the nose.
Filling the chest and opening the heart.
Pausing at the top of that inhale in this moment of stillness.
And then opening the mouth and exhaling slowly with a long soft steady sigh.
One last breath just like that breathing in through the nose filling and expanding through the chest cavity.
Pausing in this moment of stillness at the top of the breath.
And opening the mouth release.
Softening through the shoulders,
The torso,
The abdomen.
As you sink into the support of the seat beneath you.
Taking a moment of ease here.
Now allowing the breath to resume a natural rhythm.
Finding the fluid flow of the breath in through the nose.
And then gently out again.
Each breath flowing fluidly one after the other.
As thoughts move through your awareness and catch your attention.
No worries.
Simply notice and observe these.
It's the natural activity of the mind.
And then gently with kindness redirecting and returning your attention back to the flow of the breath moving in and out through the body.
And now imagining above the mind,
Above the head.
A soft warm light.
Radiant,
Warm and gentle.
And as you breathe in you draw this luminous light in through the crown of the head traveling through the crown,
Past the point between the eyebrows.
Down through the throat and resting into the heart.
And then as you exhale you release and the same luminous light travels down from the heart down through the center of the abdomen,
Point beneath the navel and the point at the base of the spine traveling down into the earth.
And then as you breathe in drawing energy and warmth from the earth up through the base of the spine into the heart.
Resting in the center of the heart and exhaling up through the crown of the head.
And continuing to breathe in this rhythm at your own pace drawing warm luminous light down through the crown of the head into the heart.
And from the heart down to the earth.
Inhaling from the center of the earth up to the heart.
Resting up through the crown of the head up to the sky.
Sensing support and the connection above and below.
Continuing to rest at your heart center,
The meeting point.
You might bring to your awareness the color that you associate with ease and peacefulness.
You might imagine that this light that you're drawing in through the breath carries this color.
Color of light is warm,
Luminous,
A color of ease and peace coming in through the crown of the head resting in the heart.
Exhaling down into the earth.
Feeling the color and light of peace and ease up through the base of the earth,
Through the spine,
Filling the heart.
Exhaling,
Releasing up from the heart up to the crown of the head.
With each inhale and each exhale,
The light radiates throughout the body.
With each inhale,
It expands farther into the cells of the body circulating,
Fluidly flowing through the whole body.
Fill with the color and light of peace and ease.
In each breath,
Pulsing and radiating the color of peace and ease through each cell in the body flowing from the center of the heart to the fingertips.
All the way down to the toes until your whole body is radiant light.
Your whole body is ease and peace.
And holding here in this place of peace and ease,
Drawing light and energy from the earth below on the sky above,
Centering in the heart.
With each inhale and each exhale,
The light radiates through the whole body.
With each exhale,
The light radiates through the whole body.
With each exhale,
The light radiates through the whole body.
Now gently returning your attention simply to the flow of the breath moving in and out through the nose.
As you memorize this sensation and experience of easefulness in the body,
Knowing that this state is available to you at any time,
You can call upon this feeling of ease and peace by simply connecting to the breath centered in the heart.
We're beginning to introduce gentle movements into the fingers and the toes.
As you tuck the chin to the chest,
You slowly bring the corners of the mouth up to the ears into a soft,
Gentle grin,
As if to say,
I'm all right right now.
And taking a breath in through the nose,
Open mouth exhale as you flutter the eyes back open.
Take in the sight of the seat beneath you,
Sensing into that support,
Knowing that this is available to you as you move into the rest of your day,
Returning your gaze before you.
Namaste.
Thank you.
