Self-connection is being about to be present with yourself and all components of yourself. When you begin to feel the disconnect, come back to your body, your breath and your beating heart, come back home. This meditation is here to guide you back to yourself, to connect you to the you, you are meant to become.

Today is a wonderful time to remind ourselves of what is possible for ourselves.

When we actually connect to our breath,

Connect to our heart,

And connect to our body,

We're reminded of our wholeness.

And when we remember our wholeness,

We can also remember that we are on a path of growth.

And we're releasing and letting go of who we were prior,

Even up to this very moment,

And continuing to unravel in becoming of who we're meant to be.

So join me and get into a comfortable position,

Making sure that you are seated with a tall,

Straight spine.

And you can feel the lower half of your body,

All of your bones and your muscles being held by the ground below.

And before we close our eyes,

It is in our human nature to constantly be looking for the next moment and to be living for the future.

So we can use our sense of sight to remind ourselves that we are here together.

We are in this moment.

We are here to go with it.

So looking to the left,

Swallowing your saliva,

Taking one breath in,

And letting out a sigh,

And then looking to the right,

Swallowing again,

Taking one breath in,

And another sigh out.

And then looking up towards the sky,

The trees,

Passing through the ceiling,

Feeling the front of your neck stretch.

And then slowly looking down at the ground,

Softening your gaze,

Reminding yourself that you are being held,

You are safe and secure.

And when we close our eyes,

It will be okay.

We can let ourselves be receptive and vulnerable to what comes to surface during our time within.

And then re-centering your head and your neck.

And before we close our eyes again,

Slowly rub your hands together,

Awakening our sense of touch,

Which turns on our parasympathetic state and slows down our inner choppy waters from the day.

And then you can release the motion and look at your hands,

The textures,

The lines,

Noticing the sensations,

Any tingles.

And when you feel ready,

You can close your eyes,

But keeping your hands together,

You can close your eyes,

But keeping your hands where they are like they're creating a basket.

And like I said earlier,

In order to get to where we're meant to be,

In order to continue to grow and unravel into our highest self,

We need to release layers of ourselves that are no longer needed,

That we have outgrown.

We aren't the person who we were yesterday.

Every day and every moment is an opportunity to become more and more who we are meant to be.

So let us collectively welcome in an inhale through our nostrils,

Filling up our body,

Opening up the belly and the chest.

And then when we exhale out of the mouth,

We want to release parts of us that do not serve us.

Open your mouth and let it go,

Blowing it into our hands,

Feeling the coolness of our breath.

Again,

Welcoming in this breath,

Allowing the breath to break within the body,

Filling up and up and up.

What is it that you need to surrender and release?

Blowing it into your hands,

Completely emptying your body.

One time again,

Inhale.

Notice how intuitively the body expands.

Let yourself relish in the fullness of your breath.

And one final time,

What can you let go of?

Blow it into your hands,

Elongating the exhale,

Saying a little thank you for that person who used to be.

And then you spread the hands apart as all of those parts of you are absorbed back into the earth.

And then your arms are heavy,

Resting on your lap like anchors.

We find the breath again and we say hello.

We notice the air surrounding our body.

You may even notice the clothes resting on your skin,

And the skin resting on your muscles and your bones.

Is it possible for the air that is residing around our body to feel like a weighted blanket,

Holding us,

Making us feel like we're being held?

Can you tune into your skin melting downwards with gravity?

So from the top of our head,

This energy pours down our forehead and the back of the head and the sides of the head.

Gathering up all tension and tightness around the eyes,

The cheeks,

The jaw.

Continuing down the shoulders and the arms and the chest,

Around the sides of the body and the back of the body.

And releasing through the legs all the way down through the tips of the toes.

Welcoming in another inhale.

And then release the breath.

Let it be free out of the mouth.

Any lingering residue of sorts is released.

Expanding your awareness to your physical body.

Noticing the shape of your body,

Visualizing it,

The texture of your skin,

The shapes.

Connecting to this physical form that gives you a human experience.

Slowly breathing in and slowly breathing out.

I invite you to watch my video on my channel.

And slowly breathing out.

I invite you to watch your breath with your eyes closed.

Is it possible to slow down even more as the body breathes intuitively in and out?

Can you feel your inner world calming down,

The inner chaos?

And as everything quiets,

Is it possible to now connect to the heart?

We've secured a connection with our body and this beautiful breath of ours.

Is it possible now to maybe place your left hand on your heart and feel the music of the heart,

The rhythm,

The beat?

Traveling with your loving connected awareness to the center of your heart,

The nucleus.

Are there any whispers or is there any information,

Any downloads,

Any little hits that the heart is trying to communicate with you?

Simply listen,

Deeply listen.

With no judgment,

No force or strength,

Just with you being.

And if nothing comes to service for you,

Simply come back to the breath and listen to the sounds,

The oceanic sounds of the breath.

That in itself is a form of communication,

Sharing with us that this time with ourselves is necessary,

Necessary for our growth.

And when we close our eyes,

We're reminded of our power.

We are reminded of our infinite potential of what is possible individually and then collectively.

For when we connect with ourselves,

We can then connect with others and we can then connect with our world and how we want to change or impact.

Now placing your right hand on top of your left hand,

Tucking your chin towards your chest,

Still feeling this current of energy,

The current energy of your breath,

Breathing within the cells of your body,

Communicating to every part of you that you are whole.

You are whole with your breath and your heart and your body.

And this trinity of your breath,

Your heart and your body is complete.

Silently whispering to yourself,

May I continue to stay connected to my breath.

May I continue to stay connected to my heart.

May I continue to stay connected to my wholeness.

And may I continue to grow.

We'll seal our time together with one deep breath,

Welcoming it through the cells of our body,

In through the nostrils,

Filling up the lower belly and the upper belly,

Filling up the lungs and the chest,

The sides of the chest,

The back of the chest,

Dipping in some more,

Filling up through our throats and allowing the breath to settle in the mouth,

Saying thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you for this breath,

This heart,

This body and for this breath.

This heart,

This body and for my wholeness.

Exhale out of the mouth,

Dropping your hands again like the anchors they were in the beginning,

Keeping you here and grounded,

Slowly opening the eyes,

Maybe closing and opening so you can resettle into your room,

Into your space.

Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your presence.

I hope you feel more connected to yourself and remembering that in order to sustain this connection to ourselves,

We have our breath,

We have our beating heart and we have this body,

This human body,

To give us the gift of continuing to show up in the world.
