We do not have to carry the burdens of generations past. It starts with us. In starting with the forgiveness of self, we can summon and represent forgiveness of our lineage from both our parents side. Forgiveness is freedom.

So tonight,

I want you to sit back and relax wherever you are in this moment in the world.

And I just want you to close your eyes and get in your comfortable position and just let go of your busy day.

Just allow yourself to release the stress of the day and the busyness of the mind.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold it.

And a deep breath out,

Relaxing and allowing it to flow out slowly.

And hold it.

Another deep breath in.

Slowly,

Slowly filling the lung capacity completely and hold it.

And then allowing it to release.

And hold it.

And just maybe move your head around a little bit,

Relax in your neck,

Allowing it to stretch.

Relax the shoulders and make sure that they're not tight,

Allowing them to fall with the weight of your arms and your forearms.

Just notice the rise and fall of your belly,

Maybe moving your back around just a little bit slightly to relax your spine.

Make sure that it's in a comfortable position.

Just allow your hips and your knees,

Ankles and feet to sink into the floor if you're sitting.

Truly allowing the stress to just let go and really just coming into your heart space.

I invite your focus to go to your heart space.

And I ask you to picture a beautiful fire,

A fire that is tall,

Rising,

Where as it flickers,

It releases into the night sky.

I want you to look up in that space and I really want you to see the stars and the moon and the beauty of the universe,

For it is vast and expansive,

Just as we are.

And as you're sitting there,

I want you to see yourself as a child and I kind of want you to look at that child from whatever age you start at,

From that baby to that youth,

The youngness.

And I want you to look at that child in terms of the experiences that you've encountered that would relate back to patterns,

Relate back to patterns that you would hold now.

Just come up through your youth.

Sometimes they're experiences that we've encountered because of the people that we're living with.

Sometimes it's experiences that we've encountered because they're friends.

Sometimes they're experiences that we've encountered because we've been hurt.

Just pass through them,

Noticing what patterns may have developed because of those experiences.

What habits were picked up that you might repeat?

Come up quickly through your childhood.

Do not dwell in any one spot.

We move through the stories of our life.

We do not dwell in the stories of our life because they are stories.

They are memories.

They have long since gone and will never come back.

And that's why we move through them.

But I want you to move through them so that we can find the origination of the points of things that we want to let go of,

Things that we know need to pass,

That no longer need to be held by our memory,

That no longer need to be acted out through our actions or our relationships today.

That once gone,

They are gone forever.

And I want you to gaze back into that fire and I want you to see a spiral in that fire,

A spiral going clockwise.

And it starts as a little pinpoint,

But it actually gets larger and larger and larger.

And that spiral is the unwinding,

The unwinding of all those events.

The unwinding of past patterns that do not serve us.

The unwinding of letting go of the story.

And as that spiral gets larger and larger and larger,

We call upon the angels.

We call upon the angels of Archangel Michael,

Archangel Uriel,

Archangel Gabriel,

Archangel Raphael,

And they form a circle around us and the fire and the spiral.

And as the angels connect to one another forming the circle,

Something happens with that spiral.

It becomes transformed.

It becomes light.

We let go.

We let go of all of those patterns,

All of those habits,

All of those things we've repeated throughout our lives that we may see through the veil of.

And then we notice that the veil is transparent.

It has no color.

It has no darkness.

It has nothing that prevents us from seeing.

Seeing in its transparency,

In its clarity,

All that we need to see.

The angels stand in the four directions.

They watch over us as we transcend to our next step.

You see,

True freedom,

Freedom from habits,

Freedom from patterns,

Freedom from baggage that we carry,

Starts with the forgiveness of self.

We no longer need to carry any baggage.

We no longer need to carry any burdens.

We forgive those who have done harm to us and we forgive ourselves for any harm we may have caused.

And so,

In declaring your freedom,

I would like you to say in your mind's eye,

I forgive all those who may have done harm to me.

And then I would like you to say,

I forgive myself for all harm I may have caused.

The angels smile at us.

They understand the work that is being done.

They are calling on us to go deeper,

And so we do.

So in front of us,

We see our mother,

Our mother's mother,

Her mother,

And all of the lineages that are associated with our mother.

Our parents,

Their parents,

All on our mother's side.

You see,

We do not have to carry the burdens of our lineage.

We do not have to carry the burdens of our ancestors.

We do not have to carry their habits,

Their hurts,

Their addictions,

Their anger,

Their victimhood,

Their perpetrations.

It all stops with us.

So you say in your mind's eye,

I forgive my mother,

My mother's mother,

And her mother,

And it stops with me.

And your lineage hears.

And on their behalf,

You say,

I forgive all harm that you may have done to others,

As I forgive myself.

And then you say,

I forgive all harm that others may have done to you,

And it stops with me.

The angels smile.

The souls are released.

They leave.

They go to the light guided by the angels.

They are released from whatever they've done,

Whatever they've caused,

Whatever burdens they've carried.

You see the smile of your mother's face,

Whether she is alive or not does not matter,

Because it is her spirit that has been cleared.

And then you say,

I call upon my father,

My father's father,

And his father.

And you see the lineage of all of the fathers and their parents and their lineage all the way back,

For they are all standing there not knowing why they are there.

And you say it.

I forgive all those that my relatives have caused harm to.

And I forgive all those who have caused my relatives harm.

And they feel it.

And they see it.

And a burden is lifted.

It is let go.

The angels gather their relatives,

Allowing them to go to the light,

For they no longer have to dwell in the same space.

They no longer carry the burdens to pass down,

For it's all been lifted and it stops with you.

You look at your parents and you tell them,

I forgive you.

Any harm that you have caused me,

Any harm that I have caused you,

It is now gone.

It stops with me.

It will not be passed on.

All habits are unwound.

All patterns are unwound.

And you see the spiral and the fire get larger and larger and larger,

Passing all of the people that have filled the room,

The souls that are still there.

Whether it be from your mother or your father,

All burdens are taken by that spiral.

All anger,

All abuse,

All nastiness taken by the spiral.

It is all unwound.

And you watch the angels as they surround that energy.

The connection to Mother Earth and Father Sky transcends the spiral as its top goes above and its core goes below.

In the fire it is transformed.

You watch it before your eyes turn white,

Then the colors of the rainbows as the rays formulate the cylindrical circle.

Colors.

Life.

Letting go.

You sit up in front of the fire and you smile because you declare out loud the love of your ancestors and the welcoming of their gifts,

Not their burdens,

Their gifts.

The love that they may pass on to you.

The knowledge.

The clarity.

The strength.

The courage.

These things are welcomed.

But you declare very clearly you will never,

Ever take on their burdens.

For they are gone now.

You bring your gaze back up to the universe,

The expansiveness of it,

The stars shining brightly over.

And as you gaze,

Looking at the beauty of the vastness,

You see the angels rise.

And you see all that is of energy that could have been released go with the angels.

You let go.

You allow.

You feel the weight lifted.

You feel lighter.

And you say to yourself again,

My forgiveness is my freedom.

I will no longer carry the weight of others or the weight of anything that I have done.

It is about forgiveness and moving past the story.

And so it is.

And as there is beauty above,

So am I the beauty below.

And as there is love above,

So am I the love below.

I am that I am.

And so it is.

You bring your gaze to the fire.

You see yourself in it.

You see your image smiling at you and you smile back.

Because you know all that you have let go is the lifetime of stories,

Patterns,

And energy that does not serve.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Another deep deep breath in.

Hold it.

And out.

Holding it.

And relax your breath.

Relax your body.

And I invite you to open your eyes.
