Too often, in our modern culture, we rush from event to event or activity to activity. Seldom do we take the time just to be, or have transition time between events of the day. This is a guided practice to foster quieting of the mind and creating space between activities of the day. It uses NeuroPatterning”™ Meditation techniques to anchor the mind to the current moment.

Transcript

Take a moment to get comfortable in your chair.

Begin to relax with your eyes closed.

Settle into just being here.

Create space between the day and its prior activities and this current moment.

Settle into a peaceful body and your breathing.

Shift your awareness to just observing and experiencing the breath.

Observe the sensations of the breath coming and going.

Inhalation flowing into exhalation.

Establish a clear sense of feeling and observing the breath.

If the mind chatters,

Just observe the flow of the thoughts without getting drawn into them.

Don't chase the mental carrots or struggle with them.

Just let the thoughts surface.

But don't be the thoughts.

Don't identify with the content of the thoughts.

Just let them flow in and out with the breath.

Watch the mental movies without stepping into the screen and the story of your thoughts.

Just shift your awareness back to the breath if the mind wanders.

Allow your experiences to come and go without attempting to control them.

Just settle into the present moment.

Receive each moment without trying to connect one to the next.

There is nothing to have,

Nothing to do.

Just be.

Be in the moment.

Be.

Settle into this current moment and the space that it creates.

The space for possibilities.

Now begin to bring your awareness back.

Going all the way back to this room,

Becoming aware of your surroundings.

Make note of any observations or insights from your experience and when you're ready,

Slowly opening your eyes.
