Hello,

Hi everyone and welcome back to the Invigorate Your Life podcast.

My name is Molly and I'm your host.

This is episode three.

So a lot has changed since episodes one and two.

I am so ready to just dive into this content today.

I'm feeling really passionate.

I'm feeling really aligned,

But I already know that today's episode is going to be one of my most casual conversations to date.

I have no plan,

No notes.

We are just flowing this morning.

So if I go off on some tangents,

If we get real conversational,

Just expect it.

Like I always say,

I'm not here to teach anybody anything.

I'm definitely not here to preach.

I'm just here to share my own experiences,

You know,

From living life.

So that's what I'm doing.

We're just having a casual conversation this morning.

It's currently 8 a.

M.

I've been up since 5 a.

M.

And I've gotten a lot of work done already.

I already,

You know,

Did some remote work for my job.

I'm currently in my hometown babysitting my parents' dogs.

So I had to like seclude myself in the corner of the house and like shut the door because they were following me everywhere and they were being so loud,

Like talking to each other,

Cleaning each other,

Which I love.

I love dogs.

I love all animals.

But this microphone,

This is a Blue Yeti microphone.

It picks up everything.

Like if I swallow,

Like if I make any little noises,

This microphone picks it up.

Usually whenever I'm at home,

I have to lock myself in the bathroom to record just because I can't hear what's going on or the microphone can't pick up what's going on in the living room,

At least from what I can tell.

I don't think it can pick up what's going on in the living room.

And for those of you who don't know,

I live with like five people.

I'm one of six people in the apartment.

It's a three bedroom apartment.

It's crazy.

So yeah,

There's very little opportunity for me to record and not to make excuses,

But sometimes whenever I want to record and I have the motivation and the energy and the inspiration to record,

I physically can't.

So then I discovered the bathroom and I just started recording from there.

So I've got some like drafts,

Kind of like a backlog of episodes that I don't think will ever see the light of day,

But those have been recorded in the bathroom and I have to like sit on the lid of my toilet and I bring my nightstand into the bathroom to like prop up my laptop.

Okay.

I'm going off on a tangent right now.

Just I'll set the scene for you guys.

I'm currently in this really cute,

Like lime green chair and I've got my laptop and my mic kind of perched on like the ottoman.

It's really cute.

I really want to take this chair.

I want to steal it from my parents and take it to my new apartment.

I'm moving in July,

Moving into a new apartment with just my husband.

We've been living with roommates since the beginning of our relationship.

And this will be our first like solo apartment with no roommates since being married.

So I'm really excited about that.

Not to like go off on a tangent,

Giving you guys like a life update,

But anyways,

What were we even talking about?

Let's talk about changing and growth and transformation because that's one of my favorite topics.

And that's just something that I'm moving through right now.

So I feel like it's like totally relevant.

So every single moment of every single day,

You have the opportunity to change your entire life from the moment you wake up until the moment you fall asleep.

You are faced with the opportunity with the choice to either change your entire life or to remain the same.

You are faced with that opportunity.

You have the power of your decision.

Which are you going to decide to do?

So for the past,

Okay,

So a little bit of background.

My like truest self,

When I feel most invigorated,

Most alive,

You know,

The strongest,

The most energized,

The most authentic,

It's when I am being a total like girl boss and like just going after whatever I want,

Working super hard.

And like if I want something,

I go get it.

That's when I feel the most invigorated in my life.

And after I graduated college,

I just kind of like left that life behind.

And I've spent the last two years just kind of like chilling.

And I really convinced myself that my life's purpose is just to chill.

It's not to do anything.

It's just a vibe.

And it has left me feeling so unfulfilled,

So drained and tired all the time.

I'm doing the least amount of like stuff in my life that I've done in years.

Like I'm like doing barely anything outside of work.

And I'm not even working in a field that I'm really passionate about or fulfilling and I'm not making a lot of money.

And so I'm not really doing too much.

And I just feel so unfulfilled and tired.

So I was really faced with like a blunt realization of where I am in my life.

And I looked back at the last two years and I've been completely complacent in my comfort zone for the past two years when it comes to career and like when it comes to career and finances.

So I was talking with my brother yesterday and we were talking about our comfort zone and I kind of compared it to a pair of jeans.

So whenever you first like your comfort zone changes over time.

So what's initially not your comfort zone will kind of like conform to your body and like become your comfort zone,

Right?

So if we're looking at it like a pair of jeans.

So if you're wearing a pair of jeans,

You know,

Whenever you first get the jeans,

They fit and maybe they've got a little bit of stretch to them.

So you can like do squats in these jeans.

You can like sit and do whatever in these jeans,

Right?

They're really comfortable.

They keep you safe.

You feel empowered in them.

They serve their purpose.

And then over time you expand in this metaphor physically in your body,

You expand,

You get bigger.

And now these jeans are a little bit snug.

You know,

You can still zip them,

You can button them,

But maybe it kind of hurts a little bit to sit down in these jeans and you definitely can't be doing squats in these jeans.

You're not as flexible in these jeans.

So in these jeans,

So your comfort zone is becoming smaller and more restrictive and more confining to your body.

And then over time you are going to put on those jeans and you cannot button them.

You cannot zip them.

You cannot wear these jeans out in public.

You wouldn't even want to wear these jeans around the house because you can't button them.

They're so uncomfortable.

You can't sit down in them.

You have to like lay down flat in these jeans or stand up straight in these jeans because of how tight they are.

Right?

So if you look at your comfort zone in the same way,

You get to a point,

You know,

You get the cues where,

You know,

Something,

You know,

You're,

Something isn't quite fitting right.

You're feeling a little bit small.

You're feeling restricted.

You're feeling held back.

And then eventually your comfort zone becomes so restrictive,

So limiting,

So much like holding you back that it is so uncomfortable that you physically cannot live like that anymore.

You have to make a change whenever you start feeling like that.

You feel like you know you have to make a change whenever you can't even live within your comfort zone anymore because it's so restrictive and it's so limiting.

It's like the pair of pants.

You can't wear them anymore.

You know,

Before you could squeeze yourself into them,

But now you've grown.

You've grown.

You're bigger,

You're taller,

You're stronger,

You're fuller,

You're more nourished.

You need to level up.

You need to size up,

Right?

So that's something that I've been moving through lately is really evaluating my comfort zone and how I've been complacent within my comfort zone for the past two years now.

I've really stayed stagnant when it comes to career and finances for the past two years.

When it comes to other areas of my life,

I've made like astronomical level ups.

Astronomical changes,

Transformations,

Metamorphosis,

Whenever it comes to love,

Relationships,

Community,

Self-love,

My inner dialogue,

All of those things,

My spirituality,

My connection with myself and the universe.

Those things have evolved and grown and I've leveled up with that growth.

But when it comes to career and finances,

I've stayed the same.

So much so that I've pushed myself down so much.

Like I said,

I was talking to my brother yesterday and we were kind of discussing like,

When you are stepping into yourself,

When you're stepping into your own and you are finally faced with the decision to be yourself,

It's not easy.

It's not effortless.

You aren't just flowing into being yourself,

But it requires effort.

It requires work.

It requires you to,

It feels like whenever you're not being yourself,

You're being pushed down,

Right?

And to finally be yourself after pushing yourself down is like standing up with a thousand pounds of bricks on your shoulders.

But the more you stand,

The more you press your legs up,

You know,

The weight starts to fall off.

But still it's standing up with this weight on your shoulders and the only person,

The only thing that is pushing you down,

Keeping you small,

Limiting you and restricting you is yourself.

There is nothing outside of you that can control the things that you control,

Which are your actions,

Your habits,

Your behaviors,

Your mindsets,

Beliefs,

Routines.

This is all within your power.

So whenever we're faced with that decision of,

Am I going to change today?

Am I going to level up?

Am I going to size up or am I going to stay the same?

I'll size up tomorrow.

I'll look for new pants tomorrow and I'll put on those new pants next week.

It'll always stay in the future until eventually you get to the point where you're putting on your pants for the day and you can't wear them out.

Right?

What do you do then?

Then you're forced,

You know,

You have to level up,

You have to expand,

You have to be your true self in that moment.

So that's something that I'm working through right now.

And I really wanted to share with you guys kind of like my process,

What I'm moving through.

I want to be totally transparent with you guys and share my full experience with you because I wished I had someone to guide me through my growth and my transformation the way that I,

You know,

This is how I want to be able to provide for you guys.

And I feel like a lot of the times,

You know,

We see the highlight reel,

We see people living their dream life and embodying their manifestations.

They have their manifestations.

How did they get there?

You know,

They weren't documenting that.

They weren't documenting things before they got to the point where they wanted to be in the point that they are right now.

And I feel like I just really want to provide a different perspective and I want you guys to watch me.

Watch me level up.

Watch me move from where I am being complacent,

Limited,

Restricted,

Pushed down by myself.

And over the next few months to the next year,

Completely quantum leap and reality shift,

Transform,

Grow.

And this isn't about becoming rich or massively successful.

Which is,

You know,

I want those things too.

And there's no shame in wanting those things for yourself.

You're not any less spiritual if you want those things for yourself.

But it's about the person that I'm becoming along the path.

You know,

It's not about the physical thing that I'm calling into my life,

But the person that I become by working towards that goal and achieving that goal and maintaining that goal and then scaling that goal.

And it's about that consistent,

Sustainable scaling,

Consistent up leveling.

We talked about this in episode two,

Right?

So yeah,

I'm going to be totally transparent with you guys.

And you might not look at me as somebody who has it all together.

I hope you don't look at me like someone who has it all together.

You know,

I am not living my dream life right now.

I'm not.

My physical reality does not reflect where I'm headed.

So my husband,

He always uses this like hockey reference,

We don't watch sports.

So I don't know where he heard this hockey reference.

But he says,

I don't go where the puck is.

I go where the puck is going.

And I think he used that in terms of,

You know,

I'm not going to use the software that everybody's using right now,

But I'm using the software that's up and coming.

You know,

That's where things are shifting to.

That's where things are going.

I think that's what he meant.

But the way that I see that is that,

You know,

When I look at my 18 month vision,

Or my six month vision,

Or my three month vision,

I know exactly where I'm going.

And I have no doubt in my mind that I will achieve that.

It's not I hope that these things will happen for me.

I know these things are happening for me.

So I want to document this with you guys.

This is my journey.

I'm going to be talking about this for a long time.

This is my journey.

This is my journey of successfully scaling my career and my finances.

Because this is something that used to be just embedded in who I was.

I was naturally successful,

Because I had the energy,

The motivation,

The drive,

The vision,

And the direction,

And that like laser beam of focus to go towards what I wanted.

I was always moving in the direction that the puck was going,

You know,

To put it in hockey terms.

I just think that's so funny,

Because I'm like,

Not a sports person at all.

So anyways.

So I'm moving in the direction of where I want to go.

Or that's what I was doing,

You know,

Over two years ago,

When I was massively,

You know,

Successful in my in my own right.

And then I became complacent.

And now I'm moving back into that person.

And I'm not even moving into that exact person.

But I'm moving into the elevated version of that person,

The fullest potential of that person.

That is where I'm moving.

So some of the things that I'm working on right now are really just becoming my most authentic self,

Allowing myself to dream so big that the Molly a month ago,

Would have looked at that and said,

There's no way.

That's not possible.

You know,

I'm not capable of that.

But today,

I'm not only capable of it.

It's not only possible.

It's inevitable.

My success is not only possible,

It is inevitable.

It is inevitable.

Your success is not only possible,

But it is inevitable.

I learned that from Brooke Sheldon.

So I just want to be a resource for you guys.

You know,

This is just kind of an introduction to this series.

I don't know what I'm going to call it.

This is me invigorating my life.

That's the series,

Right?

This project,

This podcast has been kind of like a creation of how this series that I'm going into.

So I don't know,

It's all tying together.

I'm not articulating that very well.

But this is just an introduction to the series.

But this is me in real time invigorating my life.

Right now,

I'm focusing on career and finances,

Because I feel very satisfied in many of the other areas of my life.

I know there are some areas of my life where my comfort zone is getting a little bit snug.

And that's something that we are going to move into in the future.

But right now,

I want to be a laser beam of focus on career and finances.

But I really do want to eventually move into having more of a holistic perspective,

And kind of taking things with balance,

And kind of taking things one step at a time instead of going all in,

All or nothing.

But I'm just such an all in,

All or nothing person.

And I always have been.

Back when I was in college,

I graduated college in two years.

I graduated debt free.

I paid for my school by myself.

I graduated with $30,

000 left over.

And I couldn't have done that if I did it in a balanced way.

So again,

Please do not look at me like I have it all together.

Please do not look at me like I have all the answers.

I am not doing this to be a role model.

But I'm doing this to be a reference,

A source,

A guide,

Or a resource,

A guide.

Somebody that you can come to and discuss your own transformative journey,

Your journey of invigorating your life.

So if you have any questions,

Please leave a review of this podcast and let me know what you thought.

Let me know where you want me to discuss more.

I'd love to,

Like I said,

I want to document this process.

So I want to go over my goals,

Where I am right now,

And where I'm going to be in the future.

Where I will be in three months,

Six months,

12 months,

18 months.

But I feel like in this episode,

I just kind of wanted to introduce it.

So please,

You know,

Leave reviews.

That's the easiest way for me to communicate with you guys.

Yeah,

I guess that's all I have for today.

I love you all so,

So,

So much.

Communicate with me.

Let me know what you're feeling.

Let me know what you're thinking.

And yeah,

We will connect in a future episode.

So I'm sending you all my love and all my gratitude.

Thank you so much for sticking with the podcast.

We are on episode three.

And I remember when I was struggling to launch this project and we're already on,

We're finishing episode three.

I'm at the end of episode three.

Now I just have to sit down and edit it.

So anyways,

I'm rambling now.

Thank you for everything.

I love you all.

Have a beautiful and blessed day.

Bye.
