Thanks for meditating with me.

This is Carolyn from Energy Flows Meditation.

We will be meditating together doing a gratitude meditation and when we're in the field of gratitude we open ourselves up to more abundance in our lives and we start to see results fairly quickly.

So with that I'd like you to get super comfortable and just comfortable in a position and just let your body soften as you close your eyes and just notice and welcome any sensations that call your attention if need be and shift your posture until you find a comfortable position.

And I will sound the bell to invite you to begin the meditation.

Soften your face and relax your shoulders and soften your belly and let your arms rest with your hands in your lap or on the chair and allow the stress and tension to fade away.

Breathe normally through your nose and just bringing your attention to the sensations of your breath as it enters and leaves your body.

Feel the cool air as you inhale through your nose as your chest rises and your belly expands and notice the warm air as it exits your nostrils as you exhale and your chest falls and continue to feel the movement of your breath as it enters and leaves your body.

Now hold your inhale for the count of three,

Two,

One and exhale and hold for the count of three,

Two,

One and in your own time take three more long slow deep breaths holding each inhale and exhale for the count of three.

Give yourself another deep breath as you exhale.

Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.

Settle your awareness on the area of your heart.

It's the center of love,

Compassion,

Empathy,

Forgiveness and generosity.

See,

Feel or imagine a golden ray of light that fills your heart area with warmth as you breathe in and out with your attention on your heart center.

Sense your connection to all beings,

The people in this room and the animal and plants outside of this room and bring your attention to the elements of air,

Space,

Earth,

Water and fire and allow your attention to rest on what you feel grateful for.

Perhaps you are grateful for your life or your health or for the organs of your body which work tirelessly on your behalf.

Perhaps you are appreciative how your heart beats easily or your ability to breathe or how your cells replenish themselves without you having to even think about it.

Perhaps you are grateful for your ability to taste delight,

Smell sweetness and see the beauty around you and reach out and touch your loved ones and hear melodies of nature.

Perhaps you're grateful for the abundance of food and gifts of this planet that provide nourishment for your body and soul.

You are offered space to grow,

Air to breathe,

Light to nourish you,

Water to drink and bathe in,

Earth to live on and grow food in,

Fire for warmth,

Stars to navigate by,

Trees that provide you oxygen,

Birds and bees to pollinate the plants.

So many gifts for you to receive.

Perhaps you are grateful for your arms and hands that can reach out and hold and heal or your legs which have allowed you to walk where you want to as you travel through your life.

You can bring your attention to people who truly nourish you in your life and how they bless you with their presence.

Now as you breathe keep your attention on your heart center and imagine the presence of someone you love.

Feel the love you have for them and feel the love they have for you.

Know that you are this love.

Now tap into your most gentle nature,

The softest,

Kindest,

Most peaceful side of you and breathe in and imagine you are breathing in love and as you exhale you are giving it away to someone and everything around you.

Now allow your love to grow,

To expand and include the people in this room,

All your relations,

Those in your community and all beings everywhere.

Imagine your love travels the world and embraces the creatures who share this planet with you.

Let each exhalation gently coax your heart to open like a flower unfolding its petals.

Appreciate the beauty,

Harmony and diversity of all life on this planet and explore your compassion for all beings.

Include now appreciation for your own life.

Know yourself as a kind,

Generous,

Loving human being worthy of giving and receiving love.

Now bring to mind and heart more for which you are grateful for.

Perhaps it's your freedom to make choices or the freedom you have to think,

Imagine,

Create or speak and perhaps you're grateful for your freedom to live your life the way you choose.

Include whatever comes to your heart,

Your heart,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Whatever comes to your heart and mind that you're grateful for or just bask in the sensations that feeling grateful creates in your body and silently repeat the words thank you,

Thank you and just keep repeating them silently thank you,

Thank you.

Now bring your attention back to your breathing,

Your attention on the inhale and the exhale.

I will sound the bell to bring us out of the meditation.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Take your time coming out of meditation and give yourself some deeper breaths.

You can stretch into the space around you,

Just really take your time because this is important,

This is the integration period after meditation.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes with a downward gaze,

Maintaining that inward focus and you can slowly,

Slowly open your eyes all the way and carrying this feeling of gratitude,

Peace peace and relaxation without you throughout your day.

Thanks for meditating with me.

Namaste.
