Psychological Wellness There are many factors that promote mental wellness.

I will be sharing 15 of them with you.

The most important factor is risk-taking.

Expand your mind by exposing yourself to new ideas,

Such as finding spiritual peace,

Engaging in sports that require mental concentration,

And risking intimacy.

Second,

Find a support group or build one on your own.

It is important to spend time with those who have had the same experiences and lived to tell.

Third,

Make time daily when no one needs or expects anything from you.

Fourth,

Learn to manage your time.

You will feel much more in control of your life when you are not overbooked.

Fifth,

Have a nutritionally balanced food intake.

Your body requires certain nutrients to function effectively.

Be sure to provide your body with them.

Sixth,

Develop and adhere to an exercise program that suits your interests and lifestyle.

Seventh,

Work at something that reminds you that you are more than spouse,

Sibling,

Parent,

Etc.

We need to feel individually important.

Eighth,

Allow all of your feelings to live in harmony by accepting them.

You have been given a wide range of emotions.

Use all of them appropriately.

Ninth,

Improve your self-esteem.

Work at helping yourself feel that you are important just because you exist.

Tenth,

Realize the importance of touching.

Be sure to give and get at least three hugs a day.

Eleventh,

Develop an intimate relationship with another person or at least be open to the option.

Twelfth,

Have access to someone who will listen to you without feeling the need to give advice.

Thirteenth,

Spend time with nourishing people,

Not those who drain you.

Fourteenth,

Take time for recreation.

And fifteenth,

Free yourself from all addictions.
