Welcome to a guided meditation,
Dhyana practice on building self-empathy,
Listening to your heart and slowing down.
I invite you to move into a comfortable position for your body.
Take all the time that you need to settle into your space and feel grounded.
I invite you to soften the gaze or close the eyes if that feels comfortable for you.
Maybe you want to put one hand on your heart and the other hand on your belly,
Or perhaps both hands on your heart,
Or maybe you choose to relax your hands into another position that's more comfortable for you.
For example,
You might imagine a cloudless blue sky and beneath that sky is a bright yellow sunflower waving in the wind,
Anchored to the earth,
Nourished by its environment.
It thrives in the sun,
Radiating joy,
Love,
And confidence.
The sunflower does not despair because it is not a rose.
It blooms in its own time at the pace it needs to flourish.
It takes the time it needs to reach its full potential.
Just like the flowers and trees,
I do not need permission or validation to be beautiful,
Powerful,
Or authentic.
I just am.
I grow at my own pace.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I don't need to be anywhere else but here,
In the present moment.
When I release attachment to other people's urgency,
I refuse to rush myself.
I empower myself when I listen to my heart and move at a pace that helps me thrive.
I choose to move with intention,
Integrity,
And presence.
My movements glide with grace and ease.
I am courageous.
I follow my own lead.
When I give myself space to move at my own pace,
I offer others space to be their authentic selves.
Marching to their unique heartbeats.
When I listen to the vibrations of my heart,
I receive the answers I have been searching for.
I am called to slow down.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to slowly open your eyes and bring your presence back into the space.
