We all have moments in life where we feel fully alive. The specific details of the date and time don't matter. What does matter is the feeling. Let's cultivate that feeling together and live from a place of abundance and authenticity. Share your light with the world!

The exercise for this week is to dig into our values.

And I wanted to bring that into our meditation this week and become really present with who we are when we are thriving.

And so we'll sit with a question that I'll ask in our meditation.

And that question is,

When is a time in your life that you have felt most alive?

Or maybe a way to think of that is,

When's a time that you've just walked away feeling like you were on cloud nine,

You were doing what you're supposed to be doing on your life path,

Or you feel just totally electric being around the right group of people,

Or you're in your dream job,

Or.

.

.

Really it could be very,

Very simple.

You woke up and you felt great today,

The sun was shining,

And you knew where you were going in your life.

And I ask this question,

Not for you to remember the specific moment,

Right?

So don't get lost in the memories,

Don't get lost in the details,

But I will ask you to recall the feeling in your body of how you felt during that time.

So we'll start our meditation as we always do,

In a comfortable seat.

So go ahead and close your eyes if that's what you choose,

And a tall spine,

Hands intentionally on your knees,

Palms face up or down,

Your fingertips to touch in your lap,

And take a deep breath in through your nose,

And open mouth exhale.

Take two more like that in through your nose,

Slow exhale out of your mouth,

And take an even slower breath in,

Long full exhale,

And then settle into the natural rhythm of your breath in and out of your nose.

It's okay if it takes a few breaths here to settle into a comfortable rhythm,

Giving your mind this beginning time together to slow down.

No need to expect anything else from yourself other than how you showed up today.

And then you can take a deep breath in and out of your mouth,

And take a deep breath in through your nose,

And take a deep breath out of your mouth,

And once your breath,

Your rhythm of your breath has,

And once you've settled into the natural rhythm for the next two minutes,

Come back to this.

Slight inhale,

Exhale,

And a focus.

Come back to the natural rhythm here,

Down through your nose,

Often that might be in our jaw,

Our forehead,

Or our shoulders.

Sometimes I even notice my fingers are gripping.

Take the next minute here to breathe in and out of your nose and to soften.

And as the thoughts come in,

Just notice them and then come right back to your breath.

And now with an alert spine and a soft,

Gentle breath,

Ask yourself the question to remind yourself,

When was the last time you felt fully alive?

When was the last time you felt fully alive?

And remember,

I'm not asking you to put the time and place down on paper,

But what I am asking you is to remember that feeling,

To remember how it felt to interact with other people when you felt this way.

Maybe you were productive,

Or maybe you were generous and giving came easily.

Maybe you felt confident.

Sit in this feeling of being fully alive and let this feeling radiate out.

Sometimes the tendency can be to become small because we don't always feel this way.

I encourage you to know that this is a safe space to feel,

To feel that confidence,

That inner light radiating out from you,

To know that this is always within you.

And the work that you are doing here in your meditation and in this program always leads you to living your true authentic self,

To trusting your path and creating more opportunities that you feel fully alive.

Continue to breathe in and out of your nose.

Not getting stuck in the memories or wishing for the past,

But sitting here in this present moment,

In this feeling of being fully alive,

Can you trust yourself that it is possible for you right here,

Right now?

Maybe there's some doubt blocking your way or shame or fear holding you back.

Can you shed just one of those layers as you sit here and breathe?

Holding yourself,

Holding yourself in beautiful accountability,

Offering yourself loving kindness,

That this feeling,

That this life that you are searching for is also searching for you.

Maybe you peel off one more layer,

One more layer of doubt or fear.

And that layer being shed allows that feeling of being fully alive to radiate even farther,

Be experienced by even more people,

Creating a wonderful ripple effect that people want to be around you because then they also feel encouraged to live their authentic life.

And if your mind has gone off into thought,

Know that those thoughts will be there for you after meditation if they're important.

For now,

Just sit in the feeling.

Sit in the breath.

And for our final moments together,

Bring your awareness above the crown of your head,

Outside of your body.

And let go of any effort to control your thoughts or your breath and just let your mind wander,

Go where it's going to go.

And bring your hands together at your heart center,

Sealing in this meditation practice.

Deep breath in together.

Open mouth exhale.

When you're ready to come back into your space,

Blink your eyes open,

Take any movements that you need.

And then take any time here before you rush off into your day to just note,

Take a few notes,

Journal a little bit,

Anything that came up for you could be related to the question or could be completely different.

I look forward to hearing what your experience was and to continue meditating with you.

Have a really wonderful day.
