Take a few deep breaths in and out and as you connect with your breath,
Relaxing with each breath,
Your eyes soften,
Allow them to gently close,
Bringing your attention inwards,
Reconnecting to yourself and your body.
Take a moment to notice the sensation of the air moving into your body as you breathe in,
Through your nose,
Into your body and then back out again,
Out through the nose.
And notice that sensation and observe how your body becomes more and more relaxed.
With every breath,
Your muscles relax,
Your shoulders soften and your jaw too.
Allow your body to be held by whatever it's in contact with,
The bed or the chair or the ground beneath you.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Your body feels a little heavier,
More relaxed.
Observe how it feels to give yourself this moment.
Now,
Imagine that you're walking along a beautiful,
Secluded,
Sandy beach.
This place may be a real location that you know of or a beach that's completely imaginary.
A place that's just for you,
A place where you can tune in and reconnect and communicate with your unconscious now to gain answers,
Insights.
And strengthen the belief that you are held,
You are supported.
As you walk along this beach,
Notice what you see,
Notice what you hear and notice any sensations from this environment.
See the crystal clear water,
The colors and shapes of the waves washing against the shore,
The plants and the trees and the color of the sky.
And as you observe these wonderful colors that surround you,
Notice what sounds you hear.
The sounds of the waves,
The gentle breeze in the trees,
And perhaps there are some birds too.
What do you sense as you walk along this beautiful beach?
How does it feel to walk along the sand,
The soft sand beneath your feet,
Feeling the warm breeze against your skin and smelling the fresh sea air?
Take a moment to breathe that in and breathe that out,
Feeling more relaxed as you do.
You are held,
You are supported.
And as you walk along this beautiful beach,
Feeling the warmth of the sunshine,
You find a spot that you would like to sit down on,
A place on the beach that you would like to sit down and rest for a moment.
Notice what you say to yourself as you embrace the beauty of your surroundings.
You are held,
You are supported.
As you're sat here on this beach,
You close your eyes and connect with a memory,
A time in your past when you felt totally calm,
Peaceful,
And full of love.
This may be a small memory or a big significant memory,
A time when you reflect on that you feel really good,
You feel relaxed,
You feel at peace.
And if you're not sure what memory to pick,
Allow your unconscious to choose for you a time when you felt good.
It may come up in a flash or bubble up in a moment,
Popping into your mind a time when you felt so good.
Connect with that,
See what you saw,
Hear what you heard,
And feel that wave of peace and love becoming stronger and stronger with every breath.
This wave of peace and love flowing through your whole body,
Notice how that feels.
And if you were to give this feeling of peace and love a color,
What color would that be?
Just take a moment to connect with that.
That wonderful color flowing through your body,
The color that represents peace and love for you.
Breathe into that,
Notice how that feels.
This color,
This feeling supporting you throughout this process.
You are held,
You are supported.
And from this place of calm,
Ask your unconscious mind to show you a representation of any mild anxious feelings that might have been present for you recently.
Ask your unconscious mind to bring that representation,
That symbol,
Or that object that represents this,
And place it a little way further along the beach.
You can observe,
Though there is distance.
Observe without judgment.
Notice what this representation of recent anxious feelings looks like.
Is it an object?
A person?
An animal?
A shape?
Or something else?
Simply notice what arises.
How is it represented?
And take this moment to reflect.
What does this anxious feeling wish to communicate?
What does it want to tell you?
What can you learn from this?
What is it really looking for?
Take this moment to ask this representation any questions that you wish to ask.
Ask questions that can help you understand any previous anxious feelings.
So you can create a deeper sense of understanding,
Peace and harmony within.
The more you hear its message now,
The less it needs to show up in your life to be heard.
And the more your unconscious mind can find useful solutions in your day-to-day life.
Notice what it's communicating.
And the more you communicate with it,
The more you listen.
Notice how this representation starts to transform.
How is it shifting?
What's changing?
Observe.
Notice.
Now invite that wonderful color,
That color of peace and love that you generated within before.
And now,
Using the power of your imagination,
Send that color to the representation of anxious feelings.
By doing so,
You choose to create change and communicate with your unconscious mind that change is possible.
Cultivating a greater sense of peace is possible.
Reconnecting to love is possible.
You are held.
You are supported.
As you send that color,
Notice how that transforms even further.
Observe how that old representation of old anxious feelings looks different now.
What is it communicating now?
What has changed?
Giving thanks to your unconscious mind for its cooperation.
Saying thank you to the old anxious feelings that you have been communicating with.
What do you choose to shift in your life,
In your daily life?
Now,
As a result of this communication,
You are held.
You are supported.
Knowing that you can always come back to this visualization whenever you wish.
Taking one last look around the beach.
Notice the beach.
Notice what is different now.
What do you see,
Hear,
And feel now?
How do your surroundings represent the changes that you have created now?
And gently letting go of that beach.
Knowing that you can return any time.
Letting go of that image.
And with a deep breath in and out.
Slowly,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Wriggling your toes,
Your fingers.
Noticing how you are held and have been held throughout this whole process by what your body is in contact with.
Breathing deeply.
Stretching your arms.
Noticing what feels different now,
How you feel different now.
And coming all the way back to here and now.
Opening your eyes with a renewed sense of connection with yourself.
Observing your surroundings.
Bringing your attention to your feet.
Once again,
Wriggling your toes.
Coming all the way back to here and now.
With this greater sense of calm within,
You are held and you are supported.
