Taking a deep breath in and out.
And as you breathe in and out,
Bring your awareness back to yourself,
Back to your body,
Allowing your eyes to gently soften and close.
Notice how the muscles in your body relax more and more with every breath.
What a wonderful gift it is to give yourself this moment,
A moment to simply be,
To relax.
Notice the sensation of your body in contact with the ground,
Chair,
Bed,
Or whatever you're in contact with,
Feeling that connection,
That support,
Helping you to feel grounded during this process.
As you continue breathing in and out,
Send that breath all through your body,
From the top of your head down to your toes,
All throughout your body.
Every joint,
Every muscle,
Every organ,
Every limb,
Your whole body,
Your whole body alive,
Your whole body breathing,
One living,
Breathing body.
And notice how that feels.
Now imagine you're walking through a beautiful place in nature.
This could be a real place that you know of,
A place where you feel safe and peaceful,
Or a place that's completely imaginary,
A place where you feel comforted and at peace.
The visualization doesn't need to be crystal clear,
Simply just setting that intention to connect with a place in nature,
A place where you can relax and reconnect.
And notice what you see,
The colors,
The shapes,
The trees,
The plants.
Notice the sounds,
Everything that you hear in this relaxing place in nature,
The gentle breeze of the wind in the trees and the sweet bird song.
Continuing to breathe in and out as you walk through this beautiful place,
Notice how you feel as you see what you see and hear what you hear.
How does that feel to breathe in fresh air and walk through this place in nature,
To feel the warm sunshine against your skin?
Take a moment to observe this.
This is your place,
A place where you can communicate with all parts of you,
This is your place where you can simply unwind and relax.
You find a spot that you feel comfortable to sit down on.
Notice what surrounds you,
A quiet spot where you can sit down and observe all of the beauty that surrounds you in this moment.
And as you do,
Your attention is brought to a beautiful wooden box that's beside you.
Gently picking up that box,
Noticing the shape,
The size,
The weight,
What it looks like,
You gently open it and notice that within,
Within this box,
There are many different pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
You empty all of the pieces out on the ground in front of you,
Each and every piece represents a part of you.
The light and shadow,
The capabilities,
Personality traits,
Behaviors,
Many different aspects that make up you at all levels in this lifetime.
As you move your hands through the pieces,
Notice what's being brought to your attention now.
As you pick up different pieces for a closer look,
Ask yourself,
What does this piece represent?
Noticing without judgment,
Take your time.
Going through the different pieces and slowly,
Slowly starting to fit them together.
You seem to know exactly where they need to go.
It comes without thinking that there's this internal intelligence,
The spark within that just knows.
Placing these puzzle pieces together,
All these different aspects of you.
Notice what's being brought to your attention with each piece that you pick up and place together.
Ask yourself,
What can I learn from this?
What is this piece teaching me?
As you do this,
You continue feeling the wonderful warm sunshine against your skin.
Healing sounds of nature that surround you and support you.
As you place these pieces together,
Observe what your unconscious mind is communicating to you now.
There is no right or wrong.
This is simply allowing you to gain a few more insights about yourself.
And with each insight,
You start to feel more compassion.
Compassion for yourself as this wonderful human being in this lifetime,
Doing their best,
Learning and understanding a little more about yourself.
All the pieces now together apart from one.
You pick up the final piece and placing it back into the jigsaw puzzle.
Noticing what that piece represents and what it offers.
What was the last piece?
Is there any relevance that this piece is the last piece that you picked up?
Now observing the whole complete jigsaw puzzle in front of you.
What does it look like?
What do you notice?
As you sit there,
Hand over your heart,
Giving thanks to your unconscious mind for helping you throughout this process.
Giving thanks for any insights that came up and that continue to come up well after this process.
Some things may make sense and some things may not.
And that's okay.
Whispering to yourself,
I welcome myself,
My whole self now.
I am whole,
Complete,
Just as I am.
There may be things that you like and things that you don't.
Things that you can accept about yourself and things that perhaps you struggle to accept.
And that's okay.
Once again,
Bringing those words to yourself,
I welcome myself,
My whole self now.
I am whole and complete,
Just as I am.
You feel a glow within that grows bigger and brighter with every breath.
A golden light from your heart that fills your body and shines out beyond.
Looking at the puzzle once more,
With new eyes for yourself,
Your whole self.
Notice how that feels.
Aware of your whole self at so many levels,
Physical,
Mental,
Emotional,
And spiritual.
Aware that you have many pieces of that jigsaw puzzle,
Aspects of your personality,
Physical attributes,
Beliefs,
Behaviors,
Things that can change and transform over time.
This jigsaw puzzle that's alive,
Living,
Continuously transforming and changing.
And remembering what lies at the core.
That light.
You can do whatever you wish with this puzzle.
This jigsaw puzzle is just for you.
You can leave it where it is.
Take it with you.
Use the wooden box.
Use whatever feels right for you right now.
And with a deep breath in and out,
You start to observe the place and nature that you have been in.
What do you see,
Hear,
And feel now?
Take a moment to observe what's different.
What do you now notice?
And as you walk through this place and nature,
Observing the gratitude for having a place you can go to,
To reconnect yourself anytime,
Anywhere.
A place where you can find insights and acknowledge your whole self.
Gently letting go of that place and nature.
Knowing you can return anytime.
Letting go of that image and starting to bring your awareness all the way back to your body,
Here and now.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Gently wriggling your toes,
Your fingers,
Noticing the contact that your body has with whatever it's in contact with.
Observing that support that held you throughout this process.
Bringing your attention to any sounds and sensations within your surroundings.
Taking a deep breath in and out and opening your eyes,
Coming all the way back to here and now.
Opening your eyes and now with open eyes,
Hand over your heart,
Aware of that light.
That light within your chest,
That warm,
Gentle,
Yet powerful light.
That light that animates all of you,
The spark of life within you.
Affirm to yourself,
I welcome myself here.
