Connect inwards to the soft and gentle space that is your heart. Kindly bring awareness to feel into your heart space, as much as it's comfortable to do so, to cultivate a strong sense of self-compassion.

Hello and welcome to your meditation today.

We're going to begin in a comfortable seated position so just coming cross-legged or on the knees.

You can bring a cushion underneath the hips for support.

I'm just resting the hands on the knees or thighs.

I'm just connecting to your breath here.

Breathing long and deep through the nose.

Just gently slowing it down.

With every exhale softening the body a little bit more.

Releasing any tension or tightness in the body and feel free to just sigh out the mouth as much as you need.

Then gently just coming to lay down on your back,

Palms facing the sky.

Continuing to soften the body on your exhales.

I'm just allowing the earth to hold you here.

Tiddling your awareness over the heart space.

I'm just noticing any sensations or feelings that arise.

Allowing them to calm and to go.

Breathing long and deep through the nose.

Breathing long and deep through the nose.

If it's comfortable to do so just allowing your awareness to go a little bit deeper into your heart.

So I may just go a few more layers down or down to the core.

Breathing into the heart and slowly breathing out from it.

Breathing in and out.

And gently starting to deepen your breath.

Filling up the heart space completely with every inhale.

Allowing it to soften with every exhale.

I'm just beginning to gently move the fingers,

The toes.

Perhaps you'd like to take a stretch overhead.

Gently bringing the knees to the chest and giving them a hug.

Breathing in love and breathing out love.

And gently rolling off to one side.

Taking three deep breaths.

And then gently helping yourself out to a seated position.

Rolling the shoulders a few times.

And then gently bringing the hands to the heart giving them a rub together.

And then settling them at the heart space.

We'll take one chance of Aum to finish our practice.

So taking an inhale to prepare.

Letting it go.

And inhale for Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Thank you for joining me today.
