Find a comfortable seat or position laying down,
A place where you can be undisturbed,
Comfortable and warm.
And straight away I'd like you to start to deepen your wonderful breath in and out through the nose and send your breath deep down into the belly.
And as you breathe,
I want you to start to focus on your breath as much as you possibly can and know that when the mind wanders off,
It's all part of the practice.
So each time that happens without judgment,
Draw your focus back to the breath and to the body and to my voice.
So in today's meditation,
We will be leaning into the koshas,
A chance for you to check in with all your layers of existence right here,
Right now.
And we start with the physical body,
Our first layer of existence.
I'd like you to tune into your physical body and notice how your physical body feels in this moment.
Tightness,
Tension or openness,
Heavy or light.
Tune in and notice what takes your attention.
Secondly,
We come now to the mind and the emotions.
Noticing how busy your mind is today,
Any emotions that are present as well without getting into any narratives,
Getting distracted,
Just notice how you feel in this moment right here,
Right now.
And thirdly,
We come to our energy body.
I want you to notice what your energy is doing right here,
Right now.
And the way I like to measure this,
If I had to climb a mountain in the next couple of minutes,
How would I feel about it on a scale of one to ten?
Ten having all the energy in the world and one having zero,
Or next to none energy.
And we next connect to our wisdom body,
Which I like to deem the soul space.
And this is our ancient part of ourselves that has so much knowledge,
Wisdom present.
And the way to connect to this body is by asking a question.
And I want you to go with the first thing that comes to mind as you continue to breathe deeply in and out through your nose.
What does your soul need right now?
What does your soul need right now?
Noticing the first thing that popped into your head.
And lastly,
We connect to our bliss body.
Our bliss body is our connection to something divine,
Magical,
Universal.
And the best way to connect to our bliss body is to think of a time that you felt truly happy and at peace.
And this could be something that's happened recently,
Could even be sat with your cup of coffee this morning,
Or something bigger,
Greater,
More profound.
Notice what's come to you first and foremost.
And notice when you think of this memory or this person,
Notice how it affects your whole system,
All the layers of your existence.
And noticing how all these layers are connected,
How we are all connected.
And use this evidence you've gathered to inform the rest of your day.
Taking one final deep breath in,
Inhaling,
And a big breath out through the mouth,
Wishing you a beautiful day.
