Hello and welcome to Right Here,
Right Now.
Let's get started with today's meditation through some simple relaxing breathing practices.
Take a moment to find a comfortable seat with your spine nice and tall.
Allow your feet either to be planted on the ground if you're sitting on a chair or to be crossed.
In whatever position you are,
Allow your body to be nice and symmetrical and balanced if that's available.
Allow your chin to be parallel to the earth.
And with every inhalation,
Find and allow the length in your spine growing taller.
And with every exhalation,
You soften.
Inhaling taller,
Exhaling the shoulders soften,
The heart melts open,
Taller,
Exhale softening even more.
If it feels good,
You can bring one hand to your belly and one hand to your chest.
Feel the beating of your heart,
Feel the depth of your breath,
And see if you can lengthen each inhalation,
Growing taller,
And see if you can also lengthen every exhalation,
Softening more and more.
Let's stay here for just a few more breaths,
Connecting with the expansion,
And with the release.
Just a few more.
On your next inhalation,
Remember,
Every breath introduces fresh energy into your body.
Every exhalation releases what has already run its course.
Give yourself permission to receive fully,
Every breath in,
All the freshness,
All the newness that life is offering you.
Take your time.
On your exhalation,
Give yourself permission to release everything that has already run its course.
Remember,
The inhalation is freshness,
The exhalation is release.
Either with our hands still resting,
One on our chest and one on our belly,
Or with both hands relaxed,
We focus on our breath as a reflection.
Every inhalation,
We are able to see how much we allow ourselves to receive from life.
And with every exhalation,
We allow ourselves to witness how much we are able to let go,
Noticing the power of our breath as a reflection of our lifestyle,
Slowing down our breath,
Finding pleasure,
Finding bliss,
Finding expansion,
And finding freedom by letting go.
On our next inhalation,
We think about what we are ready to receive in our life.
Perhaps it is a new partner,
Perhaps it's more financial abundance,
Increased health,
A new place to live,
A new occupation.
Whatever it is,
Let's dedicate a few rounds of breath,
Focusing on our inhalation,
On the length,
On the fullness,
And on our capacity to contain this fullness.
Now let's focus on what it is that may be holding us back from noticing opportunities,
Capacities,
Qualities about ourself that can allow this newness to take seed within our life.
For this,
Focus on your exhalations.
How slowly,
How fully,
How completely are you able to exhale,
Let go?
Explore the landscape of your mind and notice if there are any thoughts,
Limiting beliefs that perhaps might hinder you from receiving all this newness.
Remember,
Every cycle of breath is a miniature cycle of life within you.
Allow yourself to live fully.
A few more breaths here.
Full expansion and full release.
Once we've acknowledged these limiting beliefs,
Let's return to our breath,
Soften our shoulders,
And we'll seal our practice with one more slow,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Growing taller,
And one more slow exhalation,
Letting go.
Thank you for joining me right here,
Right now.
I wish you peace.
I wish you harmony.
I wish you expansion and freedom.
