Welcome to this short grounding and centering practice.
You can start by finding yourself a comfortable seated position.
As we now start with bringing our attention gently inwards.
And as we do that the invitation is really to,
As if you were a giant octopus,
To pull in all of the thoughts,
Feelings,
Sensations that are not yet fully here.
You would pull them in as if they were octopus tentacles and in this way bringing back all your energy into this very moment.
The invitation is now to bring them back into the center of your being,
Which is the Dan Tian.
It's named in Chinese medicine.
The Dan Tian is located two fingers underneath the belly button.
So bring all your attention to this point,
Two fingers underneath the belly button.
And take some of the slowest breaths you've taken yet today in this location.
Repeatedly bringing back your attention,
Anchoring your attention in this location,
Two fingers underneath the belly button.
And see what you encounter while you're doing this.
You might notice thoughts are crossing your mind.
You might notice there's tensions in the body.
Just observe.
Be the one that witnesses.
Give yourself permission to not do anything right now but witnessing.
And we will now make connection with Mother Earth,
Who is always around us.
We just need to consciously set an intention to connect with her.
So allow this connection with Mother Earth to establish,
To be there.
And as you do that I will invite you to feel your feet on the floor.
And then you can visualize any excess energy just flowing away from this space of your feet all the way down,
Down,
Deeper,
Deeper into Mother Earth.
Any stress,
Any energy,
Any excess feelings,
Anything you don't need anymore,
This is your moment to give it back.
Allowing also your energetic roots to drop into the earth now.
You visualize these roots coming from underneath your perineum and your feet going into Mother Earth.
Re-establishing this connection with Gaia.
We will now slowly start coming out of the meditation but really slowly taking our time so you can just become aware of the room you're in.
And perhaps there's anything that's still needed.
Then now is the time for that to happen before we start really wrapping up.
And if you like you can give yourself a hug now as we prepare to come out of our meditation session.
Nicely centered and grounded,
Ready for the next part of our day.
I'd like to thank you for joining me here today.
I wish you a beautiful rest of the day.
Namaste.
You
