This expressive meditation is designed to help you shift out of skepticism, overthinking, and dating drama—into confidence, playfulness, and fun. Using somatic and ontological work, you'll rewire your body’s experience of dating in just minutes. Here’s how: 1. Identify what’s holding you back—anxiety, frustration, boredom. Notice how it feels in your body. 2. Embody it. Is your posture tense? Shoulders hunched? Jaw clenched? Take a mental snapshot. 3. Now, choose the energy you want to bring—playfulness, curiosity, ease. Feel what that looks like in your body. 4. Transition between these two states three times… and feel the shift. Dating doesn’t have to feel heavy. Let’s make it fun again! Your coach, Eloah

Hi,

My name is Eloa Ramalho and you probably know me as Dancing Brazilian.

It's such a pleasure to be speaking with you today and to support you with a little meditation and exercise to arrive in this moment and really see the beauty of it.

And perhaps you are already in a gorgeous,

Fabulous space,

Someplace that inspires you or that you love and for some reason it feels a little bit challenging today to notice it.

You might be experiencing some feelings of guilt or frustration or perhaps you are really in a place where you think you didn't choose to be.

And I say we think because,

You know,

Our souls are all the time creating opportunities for us to learn and know more about ourselves.

And some of these situations or these moments may feel quite harsh and unwanted.

And you may be really experiencing discomfort in your body and boredom or sleepiness or just really a lot of anxiety.

And our tendency when those things happen is to,

You know,

Go to the fridge or call someone or do something to,

You know,

Get us out of there.

So this little exercise is to get you into the moment instead of getting you out of the moment.

And the reason why we do it is really to get you through it.

So the only way to really free ourselves from an experience,

From a feeling,

From a thought is to fully immerse ourselves in it.

And it may feel scary,

But you can trust your own body to carry you through it.

Our bodies are so,

So powerful and so capable.

So I'm gonna ask you to stand up,

If you're sitting down,

And find a place in your body,

Find a gesture that represents how you're feeling right now.

So first find the place.

So say,

For example,

You're feeling it in your chest.

Which part of your body is most awaking now?

And it may be a discomfort awakening.

So put your hand there,

Your chest,

Your belly,

Your shoulder.

Find where that is for you.

And then imagine how you can express it with a movement.

So you can,

You know,

Stretch out really big,

Or you can curl up into a little ball.

What is the movement that feels,

Okay,

This is where I am right now.

So take a little moment to find that movement and notice the alignment and the position of your body.

How are your feet aligned?

How are your shoulders aligned?

How's your head?

Are your eyes open or closed?

Are your fists open or closed?

And then freeze in that position.

Just remember it.

Okay,

So the second thing I want you to do is to experience your desired feeling in this moment.

So say you want to feel,

Think of a word about how you want to feel.

So say,

For example,

You want to feel empowered,

Or you want to feel rested,

Or you want to feel excited.

Think of what that word is.

Yeah,

Great.

So now find a movement that expresses that.

You know,

Maybe you're laying on the floor,

If you chose rested,

I don't know,

Or you're like throwing your fist up in the air for excitement,

Or you just open your arms up in the air to receive bliss.

What is the gesture that feels like how you'd want to be in this moment?

And when you find it,

Do the same as we did before.

Freeze and notice how are your feet aligned with each other?

Where are your hips placed?

How is your chest?

Is it open?

Is it closed?

Is it turned?

How are your hands?

Each of your fingers?

And really take time to be in this delicious space that you chose for yourself.

You know,

Really enjoy and take in how it feels to be here,

How you love it,

In awe,

Rested,

Peaceful,

Excited.

And then what we're gonna do is we're gonna come back to the first position,

That one where you were feeling constricted in some way,

And we're slowly,

Very slowly going to transition and move all the way into the second position.

So you're going from feeling constricted to feeling excited.

And there is no rule here about how to get to that position,

So just play with your body.

I'd say try three times.

See what are ways to get there.

Is there a spin?

What moves first?

Is it your knee moving first?

Your foot leading you?

Your chest leading you?

Without thinking about it,

Just notice what your body is doing.

Okay,

Have you done it once?

Have you done it twice?

Have you done it three times?

And if you need some more time,

Just pause it and do it at your own pace.

And then come back to the audio.

How does it feel?

How does it feel to have done it?

How does it feel to move out of that stuck,

Restricted,

Discomforting place into awe and bliss,

Rested?

And the last thing I want you to do,

I want to invite you to do,

Is to notice that your body is available to take you anywhere,

At any moment.

All that it takes is for you to be willing to really go into the places and the things and the situation that's happening for you right now.

And then allow for your body to transition through it into the place where you want to be.

And when you do that,

Look around,

Look at it again.

Do you see something new?

Do you see,

Do you notice the light in the room?

Do you feel some smiles in your face?

Do you begin notice beautiful things?

Is there more space in your mind?

So I'm calling this the awe exercise,

Being in awe.

And I hope you really,

Really take it with you.

And remember that you can do it at any single time.

It doesn't take time,

It just takes your willingness and your courage to actually go,

Stand up and break that pattern in your thought.

To be here in this moment,

In absolutely awe,

With yourself,

With your body,

With this place,

In full acceptance so that it can change,

It can get better,

It can get much,

Much,

Much better.

Thank you so much for listening to this.
