During this meditation,

You will have the opportunity to down regulate your nervous system,

Moving from an up regulated to a down regulated nervous system.

It is here when our bodies go into rest,

Restoration and healing.

This practice today involves gentle reflection,

Mantras and breath work.

We will also be tapping into the power of gratitude.

Gratitude for the body,

Gratitude for ourselves.

The fear ends when gratitude begins.

That will nurture you throughout this practice.

With your face slightly upturned,

Allow your focus to rest between the eyebrows,

Noticing the scope of what you can see.

Your closed eyes,

Patterns,

Shapes,

Colours.

I am the awareness behind my eyes.

I am the witness.

I am noticing.

When was the last time you truly had nothing to do,

Nowhere else to be?

A day where everything was just about nothing but you.

Your love for life.

No responsibilities,

No one to answer to.

Just you in your divine presence.

When was the last time you did nothing?

A day when there was nothing to do,

To be.

A day where everything was about nothing but you.

Your love of life.

No responsibilities,

No one to answer to.

Just you in your divine presence.

Simply noticing,

Noticing,

Receptive,

Grateful,

Experiencing the divine nature of simply being.

Tuning in to your source and creator.

When was the last time that you truly surrendered in the lap of the creator?

I invite you to put the outside world to the back,

Bring forward the awareness of your breath,

Of you breathing.

This magical rhythmic flow of your breathing.

This magical rhythmic flow that has been with you since the day you were born.

This magical rhythmic flow that is your ally.

Which from an unregulated to a down-regulated nervous system,

Always there as a resource,

But only when you choose it and bring it into your awareness.

How peaceful can you be in the breath?

Settled,

Can you be with the breath?

How vibrant and dynamic can you be?

Noticing how soft the breathing is within you.

Can we make it just a little bit softer?

Intentionally focusing on the breath.

And if you notice that you're overly distracted,

You can allow yourself to visualize or hear the two words in your mind.

Exhalation here,

Exhalation now.

Here,

Here.

Breathing intentionally is how we live intentionally,

Not only with ourselves,

But also with the great universe itself,

Taking the time for this stillness.

Noticing space and stillness around this experience of your breathing.

Noticing space and stillness around your body,

However and wherever you may notice this.

Taking this time quietens the mind,

Thoughts coming and going,

And we allow them to come and go whilst connecting to the gentleness of this breath.

Connecting to the breath in this way is taking power back from the mind and into this magical moment that nurtures you,

That restores you,

That heals you as your nervous system down regulates more and more.

Is a structure of peace.

Your body is a structure of peace.

Our bodies are structures of peace.

My body is a structure of love and light.

Your body is a structure of love and light.

Our bodies are structures of love and light.

My breath is a rhythm for peace.

Your breath is a rhythm for peace.

Our breathing are rhythms for peace.

I am so grateful for my body.

It's been here all my life and as I choose to align with my body,

With the energies in motion within my body,

I am grateful.

I am grateful for my awareness.

It is with this awareness that I can tune into my body.

As I tune into my body and notice my internal weather,

I notice any energies in motion and see them simply as energies in motion.

Sometimes pleasant,

Sometimes not so pleasant,

Sometimes neutral.

I choose to allow them to be.

I give them the space they need.

I am now grateful for this choice.

With the power of awareness,

I notice any contraction in my body and I soften.

Whenever I notice contraction,

I choose to soften.

Whenever I notice contraction,

I choose to soften.

Breath shows us about ourselves in each moment a reliable reflection for our consciousness to take root in our human form,

To be present,

To be with life,

Taking the next few moments to focus on this flow of reflection and allow it to be easy and complete.

Whatever easy and complete feels like to you,

Balance and harmony and ease to your system.

How does your breath feel in this moment?

What is the texture of your breath?

Aware of the stillness and space surrounding your breath.

So as a reminder,

First is an inhale simply,

Naturally,

And then making a sound from the pit of your throat,

Exhale slowly for 16 counts.

This shouldn't require any extra effort.

It should feel gentle and warm.

Let's start the rhythm,

Inhalation and exhaling slowly for a count of 16.

Do this now for a few moments.

And now we invite you to bring your attention to your eyes,

Allowing the muscles around the eyes to be soft,

Allowing any tensions to melt away and having a sense that you're almost staring into space,

Looking out from behind your closed eyes.

There's a you here now.

Even as you begin to soften the eyes,

You may already find that you're becoming aware,

More aware of the beautiful rhythmic flow of your breathing.

Becoming aware in particular to the sense of letting go that takes place on the out breath.

Noticing each out breath from the start,

How it speeds up,

Slows down and comes to a pause.

Every time you breathe,

There's a wave of relaxation from this out breath,

A reminder that your body can drop any tension or resistance and relax even more.

You're not trying to imagine this or make it happen.

It's something that already is happening now.

Just paying attention to this exhalation after exhalation after exhalation.

Eyes soft.

The softer you are with this point of connection,

The easier this practice becomes.

The more your nervous system down regulates,

Putting your body and mind into a place of rest,

Restoration and healing.

Soft eyes lead to a soft jaw,

This leading further into the many parts of the body,

Including the eyebrows and forehead,

Shoulders and chest,

The spine,

The belly,

The arms,

The hands,

The pelvis and the hips,

Even the legs and the feet.

Noticing the out breath over and over and over again.

Stillness and space for my body,

Stillness and space for my mind.

Checking in wherever you notice relaxation in your body,

Checking in again,

Starting with your eyes,

Allowing them to be soft with this gentle focus,

Mimicking the gentle breath,

Opening up now and allowing your awareness to flood through every cell of your body.

Soft,

Open and receptive,

Becoming more aware now of what happens when you breathe in,

All of the upward movements,

The expansion,

Perhaps a sense of the body being energized and refreshed by the in breath.

Maybe you would like to imagine this experience as a wave of kindness every time it happens,

A wave of energy and life being drawn upward into your body in kindness.

I am noticing this soft,

Kind wave of the out breath over and over again,

Softening,

Tuning inward,

Allowing,

You may notice that being aware of the out breath brings a certain level of alertness,

Crispness,

Vividness to your attention and focus.

Allow yourself to bask in this experience for a bit longer.

There is nowhere I need to be but here,

Here is where I am nurtured,

Here is where I am restored,

Here is where I am held in kindness.

I am safe and finding ways to,

To cultivate a sense of harmony.

My body is creating a chemistry of peace thanks to the waves of my breath,

The bridge from an up regulated to a down regulated nervous system,

Rested,

Restored,

Rejuvenated.

And as we move into the final phase of this practice,

Getting ready to allow your mind to gently reflect,

What am I likely to encounter in the next few hours that I am grateful for?

What am I likely to encounter in the next few hours that I am grateful for?

Allowing the feeling of gratitude to radiate through the body and feel what takes place wherever you notice this.

Let this power vitalize you as you choose how you go forward in your day.

Creating that feeling of gratitude and presence with the breath when you want to reconnect.

You probably got sick of the sound of my voice without it.

I was like.
