Music Presence Series,
Meditation Number 2.
Please have a seat in any comfortable meditative posture.
Try to achieve a straight,
Activated back.
Relax the body without becoming lazy.
If you wish to lay down,
Allow your spinal column to be comfortable.
Expand your chest with an awareness of your breath.
With hands in a resting open position on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down.
Gently close your eyes and mouth.
Let's start by taking a nice,
Long,
Deep breath in through the nose and out through the nose.
We're starting by focusing on our breath.
Let's start to take in some full,
Deep breaths.
Expand your abdominal region with each in-going breath.
Pause for a few moments.
Then slowly release by sucking your navel into your spine.
Make sure you release every bit of air so you can take in a nice,
Long,
Deep breath.
Allow your breath to flow freely.
Do not interrupt or disturb the natural flow of your breath.
Follow each breath as it travels in through your nose and out through your nose.
During this practice,
You can ask yourself,
What is the most important thing in life?
What is the most important thing in life?
What am I feeling right now?
Be aware of the sensations of your body.
Be aware of each part of your body.
The whole body.
Your entire body.
Let's start by focusing on your head.
What are the sensations coming from this area of your body?
Let's move down to the face.
What does your face tell you right now?
What is it able to say in this very moment?
Moving down to your neck.
What are you feeling right now in your neck?
Let's move to your back now.
What can your back tell you?
Keeping in mind to be breathing in through your nose,
Out through your nose.
Nice,
Deep,
Long breaths,
But not unnatural.
We want to stay comfortable here in this spot.
Moving to the other side of the body,
To your front torso.
What does the front side of your torso say to you right now?
Moving to the arms now.
How do your arms feel?
And what can they tell you right now?
Let's move now further down to the hands.
How do your hands feel?
What are they saying to you as you put all of your attention on them?
Moving down to your legs now.
How do your legs feel?
And further down to your feet.
What do your feet tell you?
Feel your whole body now.
Scanning it from top to bottom with your awareness.
What do you feel while doing this practice?
Allow each breath to bring you more awareness of your body.
Now let's go deeper into our bodies by feeling our blood.
Can you feel your blood running through your veins?
Coursing throughout your body.
Being pumped by your heart.
Now go deeper into your body and feel all of your cells.
Feel every cell in your body.
Recognize that every cell in your body is working together right now to make up your physical and spiritual self.
Even if we cannot understand how this works,
We can connect with the sensation of what it feels like to be aware of every cell in our body.
Now go even deeper into your body by feeling the quantum body.
Feel the vibration of your atoms.
Feel the collective vibration of your whole body.
Your atoms are vibrating in a field around your body.
This field is your presence.
Without the field,
The atoms would have no structure or form.
Your field is your energy.
Your animation.
Your consciousness.
Your presence.
Embrace your presence in this very moment.
Om.
Thoughts are only a surface level of experience and it manifests into your field of awareness.
Therefore,
You are not your thoughts.
All your concepts and ideas of who you think you are are just thoughts you believe in.
These beliefs are manifestations inside of your field of awareness.
We must stay responsible for our thoughts because only we create them.
We are not our thoughts.
We are the creator of them.
Everything you see outside of you are also manifestations in your field of awareness.
Pay attention to your field.
Be aware of your presence.
The external world is transient and in a constant flow of change.
Ask yourself who witnesses this change?
Does the witness change?
What perceptions change?
Please draw your attention inwardly.
Pay attention to your presence.
Remain connected with your breath coming in through the nose and out.
Pay attention to the sense of your liveness.
Presence is the nectar of awareness.
Without awareness,
There is no observation.
Without observation,
There is no measurement of the external world and its effects on us.
Live your life,
But always connect to your presence.
It's there for you.
It's there with you.
Connecting to your presence is the journey within.
The journey to your truth,
To your essence.
There are no answers needed when you realize there are no questions to ask.
Rather,
Just a natural flow of your universal expression of presence.
You are the presence that gives life to all.
Without you,
There is no life.
You are life.
And the universe is within you.
Embrace your power.
Embrace your presence.
