I hope that you have found a quiet place for this meditation practice and done whatever you can to prepare an atmosphere of grace and openness.
Be seated in Ardha Siddhasana and give yourself permission to be comfortable.
Reactivate your abdomen to maintain a relaxed upright spine.
Place your hands on your knees facing upward in Kriyana Mudra.
Face slightly upturned,
Allow your focus to rest between the eyebrows.
Gently close the eyes and mouth,
Leaving a small space between the teeth and lips.
Maximum benefits and safety will come if you are seated for this practice.
Start by deeply breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,
Oxygenating all the cells of the body,
Enlivening,
Consciously breathing a little bit deeper than normal.
Just rest your attention on the breathing cycle.
Thoughts arise,
You can acknowledge them and let them go.
Simply return to the breath.
Each inhalation and exhalation to bring you clear presence and awareness of your senses.
Give yourself permission to relax,
A natural state of being open and positive to fill the space.
You have a body,
Hands,
And energy system.
These are the main components of our being.
Has immediate needs and so we are experientially very connected to the body.
Energy flows around so we are constantly employing the mind.
Emotions come up when we perceive something and we respond with feeling it.
Energy is there within us,
Not always aware of it.
It is a more subtle energy system.
Your experience of being alive right here and now is mainly within the body and mind.
You will experience a lot of pain and suffering because these are the only faculties of ours that can perceive pain,
To make it suffering,
To resist the pain of whatever is there.
So if you do not bring consciousness to your mental and physical bodies and you have little to no awareness of your emotions and life force energy,
Then you are essentially trapped inside yourself because the body and mind are the first parts of ourselves that we focus on gaining a level of understanding and mastery when we choose to live a spiritually rich life.
We accept that there is more than just the physical and mental scape.
Rest to go beyond what we can see,
Feel,
Taste,
Touch,
And hear.
We will continually fall into the same patterns of karma passed down to us and which we have been in contact with since our conception.
We want to transcend the limitations of body and mind in order to experience what's beyond the observer in this moment.
Presence that the observer in this moment.

Slowly open your eyes and gently rest your gaze upon the flame.
The flame of the candle helps us create an ambience of energy and positivity.
Shows us in all its dazzling beauty the transitory nature of life.
Each and every moment there is an exchange of life and death.
We can acknowledge the ability for us to change and transform.
Our ability to consciously create that most seek in this world and stagnant.
The sound Aum can make you slightly inebriated but it does not bring incapacity.
Rather it enables you.
It enlivens your energy body,
Synchronizes all of your different energy systems.
Allows you to sonically reflect the entire universe within.
Close your eyes now and chant the universal sound of creation.
