Namaskaram.

I am honored to be here with you as a part of your inner journey.

I celebrate each and every one of you for allowing me to guide you towards your greater self.

Please have your toolkit items thoughtfully placed around you.

Your candle placed directly in front of you about 16 inches away.

The water to the left at about 45 degrees,

16 inches away.

The stone or gem to the right at about 45 degrees,

16 inches away.

And the incense,

Sage or palo santo to the right at about 90 degrees,

16 inches away.

On the far left side is where you can keep your offering for the session.

Be seated in any meditative posture to begin the session.

The candle directly in front of you and begin to gently gaze at the flame.

Hands facing upward on the thighs or knees,

Head slightly tilted upward with your eyes closed.

You are beside me,

Or beside me.

You are beside me and I with you.

I am a seeker.

I am a seeker.

I am a seeker in all as one.

Creation made this.

Creation made this.

Creation made all this and I with you.

Let us be the one.

I hope that you have found a quiet place for this meditation practice and done whatever you can to prepare an atmosphere of grace and openness.

Be seated in Ardha Sadasana and give yourself permission to be comfortable.

Really activate your abdomen to maintain a relaxed upright spine.

Place your hands on your knees facing upward in Kyanamudra.

Face slightly upturned.

Allow your focus to rest between the eyebrows.

Gently close the eyes and mouth,

Leaving a small space between the teeth and lips.

Maximum benefits and safety will come if you are seated for this practice.

Start by deeply breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

Oxygenating all the cells of the body.

Enliven and just be breathing a little bit deeper than normal.

Just rest your attention on the breathing cycle.

Thoughts arise.

You can acknowledge them and let them go.

Simply return to the breath.

Each inhalation and exhalation to bring you clear presence and awareness of your senses.

Give yourself permission to relax.

The natural state of being open and positive to fill the space.

Have a body and an energy system.

These are the main components of our being.

Has immediate needs and so we are experientially very connected to the body.

So we are constantly employing the mind.

Emotions come up when we perceive something and we respond with feeling it.

The energy is there within us.

We are not always aware of it.

It is a more subtle energy system.

Your experience of being alive right here and now is mainly within the body and mind.

You will experience a lot of pain and suffering because these are the only faculties of ours that can perceive pain.

To make it suffering,

We have to resist the pain of whatever is there.

So if you do not bring consciousness to your mental and physical bodies and you have little to no awareness of your emotions and life force energy,

Then you are essentially trapped inside yourself because the body and mind,

The first parts of ourselves that we focus on gaining a level of understanding and mastery when we choose to live a spiritually rich life.

We accept that there is more than just the physical and mental scape.

Dressed to go beyond what we can see,

Feel,

Taste,

Touch and hear.

We will continually fall into the same patterns of karma passed down to us and which we have been in contact with since our conception.

We want to transcend the limitations of body and mind in order to experience what is beyond.

The observer in this moment.

Presence that the observer in this moment.

Presence observer.

Body is an instrument.
