Welcome,

And thank you for sharing this space with me.

My name is Elliot and I'm honored to be a part of your inner journey.

I thank you for your trust in allowing me to guide you towards your greater self.

This is an intention setting meditation and it's designed to offer you clarity of mind,

Abundance and prosperity,

And intentional living.

And what I mean by intentional living is that what we are doing has been addressed and prioritized.

And when you get to the point where you have prioritized your life and the things that you want to do,

Then you then need to find the right intention for them,

The right emotions to charge them with,

To fill them up.

And so we use intention to place our focus and which combines our ideas and way of approaching things,

What we've learned,

What we want to experience,

What we're curious about.

And so this is when we get to put intention into it so that we do great things.

So we're doing this to create an intentional life so that when we look back 10 years,

5 years,

1 year,

6 months,

You say,

Yes,

I was on the path that I wanted to be on.

I was at least working towards the things that I wanted to do.

And so when you start thinking about intention,

You start to become curious,

Actively seeking what you're interested in,

What brings you joy,

What creates connection for you in this world.

So in this,

You'll be using the breath and guided imagery as tools to invite life purpose and clear intention into your life.

So we want to settle into a cross-legged posture with the hands open,

Facing upward,

Maintaining straight back with natural curves.

With the face slightly upturned,

Allow your focus to rest between the eyebrows,

Gently closing the eyes and mouth.

The purpose of life is to live it,

To taste experience to the utmost,

To reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.

The purpose of life is to live it,

To taste experience to the utmost,

To reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

This quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt.

Checking with the body.

Are there any sensations in your body?

Treat each thought as a cloud floating away.

Check in with your emotions.

Simply notice any impulsive reactions.

Your breath is relaxed and natural.

Remember your breath is a reflection of how you are in that moment and how you're living life.

And we're noticing how it feels to be seated here in this present moment,

Right now.

And we draw the focus of our attention to the breath.

We can just give a quick thanks to the breath.

Our awareness is like riding the shifting tides of the natural and full breath.

Each moment is a different moment in the wave,

The cycle.

Everything's flowing and everything is connected.

Comes in,

The wave comes up.

Exhale,

The wave comes down.

Smooth,

Natural,

Full breaths.

Follow the breath all the way from the entrance of the nostrils down to the belly and then filling out the lungs and chest.

As you breathe,

Really feel the entire body breathing.

Slowly expanding and becoming full of air.

Follow the breath all the way in and all the way out.

As you listen to your inhales and exhales,

Just notice where they're most prominent in your body.

Maybe you feel them more in your abdomen or maybe you're feeling more of an expansion of the ribs.

Or perhaps you're feeling your breath lower in your belly.

Wherever it is that you're feeling it,

It's okay.

And you're just noticing it the way it is.

So there's no need to judge or try to change it.

We're just simply observing it.

Where is it?

And if there's anything coming up for you,

Feel into that,

Accepting it.

We need to create space for ourselves to deal with things.

We can in a moment come to a place that we are able to let go of something that we may have been holding on for many,

Many years.

And just like that,

It's gone.

So we have the power to transform overnight.

But it doesn't happen overnight.

It happens when you're on the mat,

When you're sitting in stillness.

Perhaps right now at this time in your life,

You're feeling like you're not getting fully what you want out of it.

And it's okay to say that.

It's okay to be selfish and say,

This is what I want.

Because we all want something if we're trying to make something of ourselves and explore something with life.

So it's okay to say we want something.

Taking responsibility for this desire is important.

And so when we reflect on our life,

What we're doing,

It's important to allow yourself space,

To create the space for understanding.

If you're just going through the motions,

Or if you feel like you're traveling on autopilot through things,

You want to be conscious of what's happening with yourself.

The choices you're making,

What you say,

The things that you do.

And if so,

Then don't worry because this is the time to look into that.

And this is a common predicament,

But it can be corrected because we have the ability to change and transform from the way we think and feel.

Many of life's lessons can center around how to take complete responsibility in any given moment.

For the circumstances we find ourselves in,

And then turn that responsibility into conscious action.

I invite you to not judge yourself first of all,

And if you're feeling a bit out of touch,

That's okay.

Beating yourself up will do no good,

And we want to cultivate a healthy relationship with ourselves to be gentle towards ourselves.

It's okay.

Observe how you're feeling about being in the driver's seat of your life.

And as you go through this,

Remember to be kind to yourself.

You're worthy of this.

As you breathe in,

Bring your attention to the fresh,

Cool air that is nourishing your body and mind right now.

As you exhale,

Place your attention on the used,

Warm air that has been transformed within your body and is now ready to be recycled by the trees.

Each breath is a sign that you're alive and capable of creating new beginnings in your life.

Continue to breathe at a comfortable pace,

In through the nose and out through the nose.

If thoughts or emotions come to mind,

Acknowledge them and let them go.

They can only ask for your attention.

Remember to decide where to place your awareness.

The practice here is in simply noticing when distractions arise and then returning to the breath.

Let the breath be light,

Uncomplicated and natural.

Breathing in,

Relaxation and breathing out any tension.

Let it go.

Let it go with the breath.

Let it go.

Now visualize your thoughts as pictures projected up onto a movie screen.

And while your awareness is you sitting in the audience watching the show,

Allow each thought to be projected onto the screen.

And remember,

You're the witness,

The perceiver,

The audience.

And through the act of observation,

Allow the movie to play as it will in your mental screen.

Watching,

Observing,

Witnessing,

Perceiving.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Come back into your seat of awareness and watch the movie of your thoughts take place once again.

You are not your thoughts.

You are the observer of your thoughts.

You cannot be what you witness.

You are the ultimate witness.

Try to be aware of the thought as soon as it arises rather than some minutes afterward.

And instead of getting involved with it,

I'm inviting you to embrace the intention of just watching what is happening.

If anything is happening.

If you find yourself getting involved or distracted,

Just take a deep inhale and a cleansing exhale,

Releasing something as it goes out.

This will bring you back to the present moment as the observer.

This will bring you back to the present moment as the observer.

I want you to call upon what you need right now.

What do you,

As you,

The one and only you,

Need?

What would you like to be more focused on?

To get more conscious and intentional with?

Maybe there's something that's standing out to you in a certain part of your life.

Or a thought pattern that comes up again and again for you that is quite negative.

And maybe you'd like to change that or shift it so that you're not always reacting in the same way.

Or perhaps you want to remove it altogether.

Whatever it is,

Really ask yourself,

What do I need?

What do I need?

As you come to an answer,

Just try to boil it down to one phrase or word,

Keyword.

This way you can repeat it in your mind.

Or you can see it as another image on the screen.

Once you find this,

This is your intention.

This becomes where you put your focus on.

This is what you intend to do.

Become.

Be transformed into,

And the intention is something that you activate right now.

Repeating the intention in your mind.

Harnessing what it means,

Harnessing the feeling,

Cultivating the space for us to become one with this.

We want to bring this into our life.

We want to bring this into our day now,

Into our moment to moment experience.

And we want to charge it with emotion.

We are incredibly motivated by emotion.

Incredibly motivated.

So let's create some emotional charge to this.

What does it mean to you?

What will it mean to you to have done this?

Or at least gone on the path of making it happen.

Bringing it into real life.

What do we want to be more conscious with and intentional with?

What do we want to be more conscious with?

And intentional with?

What do we want to be more conscious with and intentional with?

This is a time for yourself.

This is a time for you to have a healthy connection with selfishness.

Not all selfishness is negative and harmful.

And so setting intentions can allow us to grow and be more clear on our path to know what we really need,

Really want out of life.

If you have a strong purpose in life,

You don't have to be pushed.

Your passion will drive you there.

If you have a strong purpose in life,

You don't have to be pushed.

Your passion will drive you there.

This is a quote by Roy T.

Bennett.

When you're ready,

Let's take a deep breath together.

Inhale and exhale.

And bringing this meditation to a close,

Come back to a full awareness of the body.

And come back to your breath.

Feeling the sensation of your breath.

The more mindful you become of your thoughts,

The more space you create in your being.

Your awareness is turning you on to what's happening inside of you and around you moment by moment.

I hope this practice has brought you some peace and awareness.

Namaste.
