There's all kinds of difficulties that can bind us,
Stress us out,
Block us,
And keep us entangled with past experiences.
Whether it's past lovers,
Difficult situations,
False beliefs,
Negative emotions,
Or worries about the future,
These are all examples of what can hold us back from living our full potential.
This can cause our bodies to be in a state of incoherence,
An unbalanced state that disrupts the natural flow of chemical order within your body.
This in turn can result in sickness and disease.
When you are not at ease with yourself,
You are in a state of dis-ease,
Meaning that the balance within your body is disturbed and you are accumulating unsettled energy which can manifest into health issues if left untreated.
Heart breathing is a powerful pranayama that discharges unsettled negative energy from the body.
Begin by finding a nice quiet place for this practice.
Gently close your eyes and mouth now and place your hands on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.
Take a few moments to settle into your position and when you're ready start by taking in a few deep breaths.
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose,
Breathing in In through the nose.
Breathing out through the nose.
In through the nose.
Out through the nose.
In through the nose.
Out through the nose.
Focus your attention in the area of your heart,
Located just slightly left of the center of your chest.
Keep your attention on your heart for the next few moments.
Now think of one of your stressors right now.
What is bringing stress into your life?
Allow this question to rise up to the surface of your awareness and then observe it.
You are the witness to this answer.
Only through your attention can you bring this energy upon your own divine experience.
Focus your attention in what strengthens your soul.
Begin to breathe very deeply now,
Pushing your belly out with each inhalation.
And allowing your belly to naturally relax on exhalation.
Draw in your breath from the abdominal region,
Your diaphragm.
Breathing in deeply,
Slowly,
And quietly.
Exhaling at a nice,
Natural,
Steady pace.
Now visualize and feel as though your breath is being exhaled.
As if your breath is being exhaled from your heart.
Releasing all the tension and stress and pain from your body.
As you exhale,
Let go of all the stresses in your life.
Breathe in the universal life force energy of prana.
Breathe out all your stresses.
Let all the tension out with each exhalation.
When you breathe in,
Feel your body charge up with positive energy.
When you breathe out,
Feel all your worry just melt away.
When you inhale and you're drawing in the prana deep into your belly,
Fill your body up with life force energy.
And feel your cells charge up and revitalize with each breath.
When you exhale,
Let go of all the stress and pain from your body.
Allow my words to move through you as if they were your breath.
As if they were your own.
I am infinite awareness.

Now imagine while breathing that you're doing it through the heart.
Make sure yourself slowly breathing in and slowly breathing out through your heart.
Coherence is when the heart,
Mind,
And emotions are synchronized in an energetic alignment.
Now feel gratitude as you continue to breathe through the area of your heart.
