Welcome to this morning meditation.

This is a gentle practice to help you wake up with clarity and set an intention for your day.

Let's begin.

Good morning.

If you're still in bed,

Gently sit yourself upright and place your feet on the floor,

Grounding into the support beneath you.

Or,

If you've already risen,

Come to a comfortable seated position with your spine tall and your shoulders soft.

Let your eyes remain open with a gentle gaze,

Inviting in the light of a new day.

Take a moment simply to notice that you are here,

Breathing,

Being,

And beginning again.

Now begin to connect with the flow of your breath,

Gradually lengthening each inhale and softening each exhale.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

Feeling your belly and chest expand as you welcome the fresh air of this new day.

And exhale with a gentle sigh,

Releasing the heaviness of sleep,

Letting go of anything you don't need to carry forward.

Again,

A deep inhale,

Drawing in renewing energy,

Letting it fill every cell of your body.

And a steady exhale,

Clearing out what no longer serves you.

One more time,

Inhale deeply,

Sending the breath all the way to your heart space,

Inviting in openness,

Clarity,

And possibility.

And exhale,

Softening,

Releasing any resistance to what lies ahead.

Now let your breath return to a natural,

Steady rhythm.

Start to bring an image of yourself to mind,

Just as you are right now.

And now allow this image to shift and transform as you reshape it into the version of the you that you want to rise into today.

Visualize the you that exists at your core,

The authentic you that is calm,

Present,

And at ease.

See yourself ready to meet the day with steadiness,

With openness,

With quiet confidence.

Now take a slow,

Purposeful inhale,

And feel the energy of your authentic self filling your whole being.

Exhale and sense the potential of this day igniting within you,

Like a quiet fire beginning to rise.

With your next breath,

Bring to mind an intention for the day ahead.

It could be a quality,

An energy,

Or a goal.

Inhale and breathe this intention in,

Letting it fill your chest,

Your heart,

Your whole body.

And with your exhale,

Imagine sending it gently out into the world,

As though it is already so.

Sit with this for a moment,

Resting in the energy of your intention.

Trust that its seed is so now,

And will blossom in its own way throughout your day.

As we close,

Take one more deep breath in,

And a long,

Steady breath out.

Carry this sense of presence,

The energy of your authentic nature,

And the quiet strength of your intention with you into the day ahead.
