As we begin,
Find yourself a quiet place to sit or lie down.
Allow yourself to get comfortable.
To let go of any distractions in or outside of the room.
This is your time now.
So leave all of your worries at the door.
Allow yourself to relax into the flow of the moment.
There is only right here,
Right now.
Notice any sounds outside of the room.
Acknowledge and let them go.
Notice any sounds inside of the room.
Acknowledge and let them go.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Hold for a moment and then slowly exhale.
Just allow any tension to melt away as you gradually relax more and more with every breath.
Breathing in deep relaxation.
Breathing out any tension.
Take another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Hold it and then exhale completely emptying your lungs now.
Breathing in deep relaxation.
Breathing out any tension.
Taking a third deep breath in.
Take your time.
Hold it for a moment and just enjoy the space in between the breath in and the breath out.
And then just let it go as you begin to feel yourself drifting into a state of deep relaxation.
Feel yourself begin to melt into the surface below you.
Feeling so comfortable,
Peaceful and relaxed.
Inviting your body to soften and to relax further into a deep,
Peaceful state.
Taking a moment to focus on your toes.
Scrunch them up and release.
Relax your ankles.
Calf muscles.
Knees and thighs.
Feeling them all relax now.
Remember,
Let any thoughts you may have float up and away into the air.
Just letting them go.
Letting them go.
As you relax your buttocks,
Your pelvic area.
And just begin to notice any tension you may have in your back.
Breathing deeply in.
And as you breathe out,
Slowly release any tension.
Now your shoulders,
Letting go of any tension,
Releasing them.
Feeling your whole body begin to soften,
To relax.
Relaxing your neck,
Your jaw muscles.
Taking a deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Letting go of any tension you're holding onto in your neck or your jaw.
Feeling all of the muscles in your face begin to relax.
And finally the top of your head,
Releasing any tension.
As you sink down,
Loosen,
Relax.
And just notice this deep,
Relaxing feeling is beginning to take hold of your whole body now.
Feeling your body relax into the surface below you.
Nowhere to be.
Nothing to do.
Except focus on how good you feel.
How relaxed you feel.
How relaxed you feel in every cell of your body now.
Allowing yourself to drift deeper.
To relax even more.
Breathing in.
Deep relaxation.
And breathing out any tension.
Just noticing how easy it is to simply relax.
How good it feels to be relaxed.
And just beginning to notice that every day,
In every way,
You are feeling more relaxed.
More calm.
Grounded.
And more at peace within yourself.
Noticing this feeling that just lasts and lasts.
Taking a few more moments to enjoy this experience.
Enjoying the space in between the inhale and the exhale.
The space where you have nowhere to be.
Nothing to do.
Except relax.
Except notice how good you feel.
Breathing in.
Deep relaxation.
And just breathing out any tension now.
