Welcome to this guided gratitude meditation. Designed in supporting you in connecting to the power of gratitude on a deeper level. During this meditation, you will be invited to visualise specific things in your life that you are grateful for as well as practicing gratitude for your beautiful body and all that it does for you.

Transcript

As we begin,

Find a comfortable space to sit or lie down.

Begin to close down your eyes.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you exhale out,

Just start to mentally begin to scan your body for any areas where there is tightness or tension.

Just begin to gently breathe into any of these areas.

And as you breathe out,

Let the tension go.

Breathing it all out.

Breathing in deep relaxation.

And just breathing out any tension.

Welcoming in peaceful,

Scented and relaxing feelings throughout your whole body now.

Allow your mind to completely empty.

But notice any thoughts that may be intruding.

Just notice and begin to let them go.

And as you allow yourself to be guided by my voice,

Just take a moment to notice how good it feels to simply be here in this space.

Nowhere to be,

Nothing to do except relax and let go.

Breathing in deep relaxation.

And breathing out any tension.

Feel yourself drifting down into a state of deep relaxation.

As you breathe in deep relaxation.

And breathe out any tension now.

Feeling comfortable,

Peaceful and so relaxed.

And if your mind begins to wander,

Simply bring it back,

Listening to my voice.

To every word that I say.

And in this peaceful and relaxed state,

I invite you to begin to think about a moment in your life that you can feel deeply grateful for.

However big or small,

If you could step into that moment right now,

Feel yourself there.

Feel yourself feeling so grateful.

Now think of a second moment now.

Where are you?

What are you doing?

Who is there with you?

Really allow yourself to feel that gratitude for this moment.

Feel it in every cell of your body.

Feeling deeply grateful for this moment.

Now think of a third moment that you can feel deeply grateful for.

A moment where perhaps you were guided and completely supported by the universe.

A moment where everything fell into place.

Perhaps it was an event,

An opportunity,

A relationship.

Just allow yourself to experience this moment now as you welcome in a deep sense of gratitude.

Nourishing every cell in your body with this wonderful feeling.

Now take a moment to redirect this beautiful sense of gratitude towards your beautiful body.

Let your cells begin to infuse with the feelings of appreciation for your body.

Think about all of the things that your body enables you to do on a daily basis.

Sending these feelings of love and appreciation out to every cell in your body.

Thinking it for the incredible life that it allows you to live.

And finally take a moment to appreciate the space that you have created for yourself right now.

The opportunity to pause and experience this very practice of gratitude in itself.

For all that you have brought into your mind during this meditation.

And for simply putting yourself on your to do list today.

Just take a moment to feel deep gratitude for the wonderful,

Kind and beautiful human being that you are.

Who is whole,

Perfect and complete.

And right now in this moment as you are guided by my voice I invite you to think of three to five things that you are grateful for when it comes to yourself.

Anchoring in any final feelings of gratitude you may have.

Being aware of any sensations in your body.

Just notice how good it feels to simply slow down.

Take a moment to practice the beautiful gift of gratitude.

Taking a final deep breath in.

Breathing in a little more relaxation.

Just breathing out any left over tension.

Just taking a moment to notice how good it feels.

Thanking yourself for being here today,

For committing to this practice.

And as you slowly start to bring your awareness back into this space.

Feel your fingers,

Wriggle your toes,

Have a little stretch.

Take another deep breath in and out.

And when you are ready gently and slowly open your eyes and return back to the now.

And as you come back I invite you to take this beautiful energy out with you into your day or into your sleep.

Allow the gift of gratitude to guide you as you begin to notice how many moments there are every single day to feel grateful for.

Noticing how supported and guided you already are every day.

And that life is always happening for you.
