Begin by closing your eyes,

Just taking a moment to scan your body,
Noticing how your body feels.
Now focusing on your feet,
Are they nice and relaxed?
Can you begin to relax your feet,
Relaxing and releasing all of the tiny muscles in your feet?
Perhaps you can feel some tension melting away.
Now moving your attention to your lower legs,
Simply let your calf muscles soften,
Relax,
Allow your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips,
Relaxing your hips,
Just allowing your hips to release to their natural,
Relaxed state,
Softening and loosening.
Now bringing your attention to your stomach,
Can you feel the clothing against your skin,
Allowing your stomach to release and relax inside,
Out,
Relax,
Loosen,
Allowing all of your internal organs to relax.
Moving your attention to your chest,
Noticing your breathing,
Breathing into the center of your chest,
In and out,
In and out.
Can you relax a little more with every inward breath,
Allowing a little more tension to release with every exhale.
Enjoy the feelings of letting any tension just melt away and relax.
And your shoulders and your neck,
How are you feeling in these areas?
Bringing your focus to your shoulders and your neck,
Breathing in and just letting any tension wash away gently,
Calmly.
And you may feel yourself beginning to feel lighter,
Relaxed,
Grounded,
Drifting a little further into this relaxed state and allowing your jaw to relax and release,
Softening all of the muscles in your face and your tongue can simply rest now in your mouth as we relax all of the muscles around your face,

From the top of your head all the way back down to the tips of your toes,

Soothing,
Melting away anything that isn't serving you in this moment,
So you can fully be present here and now as this gentle calming way of relaxation makes its way around,
Washing over every part of your body,

Soothing and letting go,
A feeling that can just last and last and last and just noticing how good it feels to stop,
To slow down,

To feel the energy of your body,

Knowing that this feeling is your birthright,
That you can return here whenever you please,
