Transcending Limitations - Weekly Energy Boost
It can be impossible to create a new reality when we are constantly fixated on all the ways in which that reality is unattainable. When we shift our attention to focus on the positive possibilities, we can unleash our gifts and reach our highest potential. Episode 4 of 4 on Goals. Original airdate: 10/5/20

Good morning,
Everyone.
Good evening,
Good afternoon,
Wherever you are,
And welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost.
My name is Ellie Sheva,
And I am here this morning with David and a special guest that is a pretty frequent guest,
Actually,
Daniel Naur.
We'll get into what Daniel's here to share with us in a moment.
I want to take a second,
First of all,
To welcome those of you who are joining us for the first time.
The Weekly Energy Boost is a seven-day spiritual energy forecast based upon the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah.
So even though the secrets and wisdom that we share is thousands of years old,
We do our best to make it practical and easily applied to our modern-day lives.
I wanted to start the show by saying,
First of all,
That this is our 150th episode.
Keep it going,
Keep it going.
Maybe now that that's enough.
That's enough.
Simmer down,
Everybody.
That was intense.
So what's really amazing,
I realized on the way over here,
Is that if I'm not mistaken,
Daniel was actually on the first episode that was a podcast.
We had been doing the show for about six months just on Facebook,
And then when we moved it to a podcast platform,
I'm pretty sure it was November 17th,
2017.
Not that I'm holding onto the past.
And it's really an honor and a pleasure to have you.
And I have to say,
Looking at the past years,
We've really leapt,
Jumped,
Leapt in bounds,
Leapt and bounded.
We've grown by leaps and bounds,
And I just want to read you a couple statistics so that your minds can be blown as we try to blow the limiting thoughts out of our minds this week.
First of all,
We are regularly number one in the spirituality charts on podcasts all the time.
Now,
I want to tell you all the countries that we are number one in on a regular basis.
You ready?
If you're listening and you're from one of these countries,
Let us know.
Mexico,
We're in the top five in Mexico basically every week.
Ireland,
Belgium,
Portugal,
Israel,
Romania,
Kuwait,
The Dominican Republic,
Luxembourg,
Lebanon,
Bermuda,
Turkey,
And Mali.
We are on a regular basis on the number one.
We are the number one on a regular basis.
I think you miss Nigeria.
I think we're in Nigeria too.
No,
Not regularly.
Depends on the topic apparently.
We're number two there.
It's just mind-blowing how we sit in this little studio in Burbank,
California and how far we can reach,
What an amazing thing that is for technology and how it's a small world after all,
Believe it or not.
But we're really here to talk about,
By the way,
You know what the most popular episode we've ever done?
Tell us.
You want to guess,
David?
What's the most popular episode?
What's the topic?
I won't make you know the title of the show,
But what's the topic of our most- I don't know.
Releasing Anger and Blame.
Oh,
That's interesting.
That is our most popular episode.
It's an angry world out there.
But it is.
What's interesting is that it's a relatively recent episode.
I think we did it in July or August.
It just shows you that there's so much in what's going on in the world,
There's so much negative response.
I think that's really what today's show,
One of the great things about what we're going to talk about today is to help people move on and let go and release those.
To me,
It's programming.
We somehow get programmed along the way to feel justified in our anger or that we're a victim or we can't do anything about a situation.
Even though the universe is constantly,
I feel that a lot of the message of 2020 is you can't control anything but yourself.
All the things that were predictable and stable in our lives disappeared.
This year,
We have the time to really focus on ourselves.
I think that's one of the big overarching themes of the year is focus on you.
Go inward.
That's really what today is about.
We're kind of forced to do that,
Right?
It would have been easier if we chose it.
Apparently,
The universe decided we needed a timeline to get it done.
Give us some secrets.
Me?
I think is Daniel going to start?
It's Daniel.
You want to start?
Well,
First of all,
Daniel,
We called him last time he was on the show.
We called him the dissonance doctor.
Dissonance – we've spoken about this on the show – really relates to the idea that our inner and outer worlds aren't usually aligned.
We say we want one thing,
But our internal dialogue,
Belief system,
Even emotional state interferes with the manifestation of what we want.
David uses the example of smoking or anything else.
If we know it's bad,
But we still do it,
There's a dissonance there.
Daniel in his work with individuals focuses on helping people identify and then heal those beliefs.
One of the things that Daniel's sessions are called Tikkun healing,
The overarching field that's called Tikkun healing.
Tikkun,
According to Kabbalah,
Is what our soul came to do,
Both the transformation and the sharing and the unique gifts that each one of us has.
So we decided that Daniel is a Tikkun doula.
He helps you birth the awareness on your Tikkun.
And we also want to congratulate David,
Who is now the dad of babies three and four.
Woo!
Yeah,
Leave the applause,
Please.
Talk about the Tikkun doula.
Right.
So David,
Since last week's show,
David became a dad again.
And again.
And again.
Moments apart.
You have now four under four?
Four under three,
I think.
Oh my goodness.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So the whole show about that,
Raising twins.
If you see him like a little bit tired,
You know,
Give him some credit.
Right.
Maybe he'll be a little bit quiet today.
No,
No,
No.
Just kidding.
So Daniel,
Can you tell us first a little bit about how you got started doing this?
What inspired you to move into focusing?
Because there's a little bit of it that we all do with in our one on one work with people.
But you have found these ways to get really deep and provide this service that helps people launch them into a process or a trajectory that takes them really to the next level.
Yeah.
So what inspired me really is the work that I did on myself.
And I realized it's all about belief systems.
It's all about self images,
How we perceive ourselves.
So doing this work and then inspired to share it with others,
I just saw how relevant it is and how powerful it is once people really dive deep into the beliefs and not just label it superficially as,
Oh,
Yeah,
That's a blockage I have or that's my tycoon or that's something I'm stuck with.
But really taking the time.
And that's what I like to do in the sessions is take the time,
Truly listen to people,
Because I also truly believe that we have the answers inside.
But oftentimes we need someone to listen to us,
That we become aware of what's holding us back.
So truly listening and identifying the root cause limiting beliefs,
Where they started.
And many times there are access points in our life,
Early childhood,
And then we can see the pattern.
And that's how we know it's a tycoon.
By definition,
Tycoon is something that is uncomfortable and repetitive.
So to take the time to go deep into that,
And I think today we wanted to focus on what I developed as a second session,
As a follow up,
Because after that I was inspired to actually,
Because I'm really,
Really inspired to help people in a sense of change and transform.
And I saw that identifying the limiting belief is just the first step.
And actually a lot of people love that.
People love to see where they're blocked.
People love to see and to discover.
But there's also danger to that because I realized that not so many people want to actually change.
It sounds funny or it sounds weird.
And all of us at times,
If we're honest with ourselves,
We're afraid of the change.
We subconsciously sometimes don't really want to find the solution.
And so we feel much more comfortable to keep on digging,
To keep on seeing what's wrong and what I need to change because it keeps us safe in a way and not needing to take the leap,
Faith jump into transformation actually changing.
Do you find that the origin or let's put it this way.
I find that at least the conscious origin of a lot of those beliefs is our childhood.
And that one thing that I've been reading a lot about is the inner child.
I don't know if you've read,
Done some reading around that,
But I find it fascinating because it basically takes what we learn in Kabbalah around the ego,
The voice of the ego and gives it a kinder way to relearn behaviors is to recognize that most of my responses or reactions is a result of something that happened to me when I was a child.
But then Kabbalah comes and says,
Well,
The reason you had that set up as a child was because before coming to the world,
Your soul chose X,
Y,
And Z to work on.
And in order for that to come to your conscious awareness,
It had to be programmed into you as a child.
So how do you help people?
It sounds like it needs to be a surgical procedure.
If we don't really want to change,
How do you shift people into that mode?
So in the first session,
We do focus on finding because in order to get out of prison,
We need to recognize that we are in the prison.
Step one is identifying.
Would you say?
I want to make sure that everybody else hears this because as Daniel was saying,
It is often more helpful to have somebody there to listen to you and do it.
But this is something that you can do in your life on a daily basis on your own.
So that's why I want to make sure that the steps are clear to everybody.
Yeah,
Correct.
So identifying is the first step.
But then what I do in the second session is actually I tell them,
I want you to forget about this old story because it's stories that we tell ourselves and we become such professional storytellers of what the old story looks like and the limiting belief and even childhood,
Right?
I was this and we blame our parents.
So it becomes this whole story and we told this story so many times,
So it gets stamped on us,
Right?
So what I do in the second session,
I tell them,
Let's throw this out.
We want to focus on the new story.
We want to focus on the solution,
Not the problem anymore.
And it's amazing,
Alicia,
Really how many times it happens to me.
I did it a few weeks ago with a very nice lady from Latin America.
And every time,
I also pay attention to the language and it's also another good tool to use for people at home.
Listen to that.
Pay attention to your language.
You want to create a solution or a new story.
What language are you using that is part of the old story,
Right?
So in the second session where we wanted to focus with this lady on creating the new story,
Empowering beliefs,
Internalize these new beliefs or soul beliefs as we call them.
And she kept on going back.
She kept on going back on what's limiting her in her childhood.
And it was amazing for her to see,
When I pulled her attention to it and what she's doing,
That she's so addicted,
Like I was saying before,
So addicted and so attached to the old story.
So I think language is another major tool.
Tell me that you say that if you're hearing about this approach for the first time,
Go back and listen.
Daniel was on the show in April,
April 20th episode called The Power of Our Words,
Ironically.
That's what we were talking about.
So now we're taking it a step deeper.
The first one was about the words we use.
The second,
Now we're talking about even our thoughts and our beliefs.
So it's taking it another step deeper.
I was going to add context to it because we're all teachers here of Kabbalah 1,
Which is the foundational course of understanding the laws of the universe.
And the main question,
Everyone starts learning that they have a correction.
They realize that the thing that they need to correct is what's blocking them in their lives.
So whether it be they lack fulfillment and blessings in relationships with just general peace of mind,
Maybe they have anxiety,
They have stress,
They have bouts of sadness,
Or it could just be physical blockage,
They can't manifest things in their lives.
They learn through Kabbalah that it has to do with something on a soul level that if they 100% look inside,
Identify,
As Daniel said,
And then work on transforming,
Which is very methodical,
Then the external blockage will be removed.
That's not common sense for most people because the way that the illusion of this world is,
And it's illusion because we think it's one thing when in reality it's something else.
So the illusion of this world is a blockage that is external needs to be dealt with externally.
This person who's in my way needs to be dealt with.
So we always try to find solutions on the outside.
Now even though we teach these courses,
The main question everybody has is,
Well,
How can I find my correction?
What are the tools by which to transform them?
I think people who meet with Daniel,
It's very surgical.
You go in 45 minutes or 50 minutes,
Whatever it is,
And he nails it home.
He can help you identify it right away.
We also offer tools in addition to Daniel as a service that actually is really tailored and curated to it because Daniel,
You've focused your time away from what Elishev and I do,
Which is we teach more globally.
We deal with students across the board,
But we don't have a particular service necessarily.
I do.
You do?
What's your service?
I don't want to talk about it here.
We'll talk about it on another show.
It's in the gestation phase.
No,
It's not.
It's not?
Okay.
All right.
Let's find another show.
But I think the fact that I think it's important that people focus on one thing that they're an expert at,
And that's what Daniel's an expert at.
So I think I want to give you context.
Well,
Maybe we can ask everybody who's watching live,
If you have a particular thought pattern or belief system that you're struggling to transform,
Let us know,
And maybe we can use it as an example so that you can see how this actually works.
But Daniel,
I interrupted you.
You were saying in the second session,
You talk more about rewriting the story,
Right?
So you do three sessions with people,
Right?
So some of our listeners may have already done the first session with you.
You've now worked into a three-session process that helps people not only identify the belief system but also replace it.
Is that correct?
Not just that,
But also to manifest it.
So I really wanted to see how people are transforming through that and not just giving them a nice session,
Oh,
I know what's my Tiku now and my life still is the same.
So from doing many,
Many,
One of these sessions,
As I said,
The second session developed,
Which is identifying their light.
So it's great to identify our weak spot,
Our corrections.
But if we don't truly take the time to identify our unique light and our greatness,
Our gifts,
Our talents,
Those were the gifts given to us by the Creator to transform our darkness.
So those are the tools given to us.
So if we don't take the time,
In Kabbalah we learn there is the sense of identifying the fount of the Kabbalah center,
Rav Ashaq talks about the sense of identifying the ego within,
Which is very important.
But equally important,
If we just,
Our spiritual work evolves just around finding the ego,
Seeing what's wrong,
What do I need to,
It can be very heavy and it doesn't lead to transformation per se.
So there's also the equally important idea of the sense of identifying the good,
Because we all have this dichotomy within us.
We have body consciousness and soul consciousness.
But if we don't take the time to acknowledge,
Appreciate,
Nourish,
Strengthen the soul consciousness and it starts with identifying,
Seeing it,
Then we don't have the tools actually to overcome our darkness and our tikkun.
Can you give us a case study?
I think people will do very well.
Overall the comments that we have here,
I think the overarching theme,
The common theme that's coming through,
Even the more specific examples is feeling not worthy,
Whether it's not worthy of love,
Not worthy of financial abundance.
How do you,
How does one begin to feel worthy?
Yeah,
I think one aspect,
And there are many and it's very individual,
But one of them is that people try to compensate the inner lack and void of lack of worthiness with external doing,
Which will give some temporary feeling of worthiness,
But in the long term it's a dead end.
So I've seen actually many,
Many professionals,
Powerful,
Successful people that once I start digging with them,
The root cause,
And that's very interesting for me.
I saw it many times in different ways the lack of worthiness can go to.
So some people choose the lack of worthiness as a demotivator and they feel guilty and heavy.
Yeah,
I'm not worthy,
So why bother?
Exactly.
So many people choose to take it as a drive,
As a motivator.
So I've worked with a lot of successful people that they also feel lack of worthiness.
That's what they call imposter syndrome,
That on the outside they're overachieving and they're successful but on the inside they feel worthless and they're afraid someone's going to find out who they really are.
Right,
So it'll have to crash.
It'll have to crash.
So many people say,
You know what,
You got a worthiness issue,
You got an approval issue,
Use it for good.
Go out there and be successful.
Show them,
Show the world.
So that's a dialogue that's out there.
What's wrong with that?
I mean,
Obviously I'm asking a question that we're answering.
You know the answer to.
I don't want to hear my answer.
I want to hear how you guys are going to address it because a lot of people are like,
I get it.
If I don't feel worthy and that paralyzes me,
That's a bad thing.
But I don't feel worthy so I'm going to go out there and give like a giant middle finger to all the people who hated me and neglected me or didn't give me attention,
Love,
Whatever,
And I'm going to show them and be successful.
Well,
That success is essentially building a fortress around my unworthiness issue so that nobody will touch it.
Sure.
What's wrong with that?
But now I'm successful.
Okay.
I'm glad you asked that,
David.
According to Kabbalah,
Our fulfillment comes from the immaterial,
The triumph over our limitations.
Okay.
So you're saying I'll be sad in my Ferrari.
Yes,
Exactly.
And that's not,
Be happy in my.
.
.
How many students do you have that pulled up to your class in a Ferrari miserable and empty and sad?
Sure,
Sure.
But they're thinking I'd rather be sad in my Ferrari than sad in my Prius.
Let me put it this way.
I'd be happy in a Prius,
Actually.
Happy in the Prius is better than being sad in the Ferrari.
It's maybe better,
The better of the two evil,
Right?
Just like the two attributes,
Right,
In sadness or anger.
Maybe it's too general,
Right?
But there's certain negativity or ego that blocks you and causes you to be passive.
And then there's ego that drives you,
Right?
There's the fire and the water,
Right?
There's aspects of the ego that's like water or earth,
Right?
Like sadness,
So it's laziness.
So it causes you to do less,
Right?
So then you have ego or pride and anger.
So that's fire.
So it can cause people to do more,
Be productive,
But there's still negativity and ego,
Right?
Wait a second.
So you know that low self-worth is like a black hole and pretending it's not there makes the hole bigger.
I'll tell you another thing.
It's actually,
I won't say names,
But someone that you sent me to that had exactly that issue and what comes to my mind,
Like,
Because you're arguing and so why not?
What's the problem?
What's the problem?
It's,
For some people,
It's costing their health and that's a huge,
Huge factor.
Like it's never enough for them.
So no matter what they achieve,
It's always empty and they always feel empty inside.
And many times that's a root cause for physical issues.
Yeah.
And I want to add something to this based on what we learned in Kabbalah is that who's your master?
Because at the end of the day,
If you're serving your tikkun,
We also give it another name,
We call it the klipot,
The shells,
The negative forces.
If you're serving your master and your master is that lack,
What ultimately is happening is you're feeding a constant black hole.
And that's why there will be,
It's built on a house of cards.
It's basically a house of cards.
It's going to fall apart at some point.
Of course,
There's the ramifications in terms of health.
The person always feels like something's not enough and they're not connected to the light of the creator.
That's what we're talking about.
If you master the person they're serving,
The force that they're serving is not the light of the creator.
And everyone's serving a force.
So if everyone is listening to us right now.
It's like the Cherokee parable about the two wolves.
Who are you feeding?
I think I know what you're talking about.
I need a moment.
I need a moment.
You should probably hear that story.
But everyone.
.
.
No,
No,
No,
Not a need.
Everyone knows it.
Everybody needs to realize that they're serving something.
So either you're serving some kind of fear or this is what we're teaching,
That people will start to have a relationship with the creator,
With the light of the creator that we talk about,
Which is pretty novel for most people.
What does that mean?
I mean,
Religion took it one direction,
Which was a good starting point.
But spirituality takes it a distance to help people understand what does that mean to have a relationship with the creator?
And that's where fear is.
Every place you have fear means that you're serving the negative side.
That's the rule.
When there's fear,
And it could be good fear.
People have fear of losing a loved one or it could be fear of losing things that are positive.
All fear means that even the relationship I have with that thing,
Somehow that relationship is serving the negative side of me.
And as a result,
I'm not free.
I'm not experiencing the endless light of the creator.
That's also pretty much the answer to self-worth or self-esteem,
Is to realize I'm not worthy because of what I do and what I have or don't have.
I'm worthy because I have a spark of the creator within me.
And there's a part within me,
And it sounds cliche or like we hear it a lot,
But unless a person really gets to a place where they feel it,
And that's why it takes time.
We need a whole session or two to build it,
To feel it.
Because like you said,
We've built so many walls and covers around it.
But it's to your point,
David,
To realize that we have that perfected spark within us and that spark is worthy.
And that spark wants to connect to the creator and do that work.
And that spark is not afraid.
And I want to give some practical tools because people are asking,
Well,
How do we get rid of that lack?
And I want to give some practical tools now,
And I would like commentary from both of you,
Especially you,
Daniel,
With what you do in your sessions.
But let's say there's a story that I can share to kind of like make this a parable.
Most people find their lack and then are pushed to transform them when something external happens to them.
So when a person goes through pain or something's taken away,
Or there's this thought that something might be taken away,
That all of a sudden accelerates that person's process to say,
Okay,
What's going on here?
What do I need to change?
Apparently whatever I've been doing is not right,
Or it needs to be improved and optimized.
And it's very much like a father who has a relationship with a son.
And imagine there's several types of sons.
Let's say there's three different types of sons.
And the first son,
When he makes a mistake,
Obviously the father knows that the father has to reprimand the son so that the son learns and grows up to be a person that is proud of his work and he's a good person and is on the right path.
So that when the father reprimands the son,
The son is uncomfortable.
So he just appeases his father and says,
Okay,
Okay,
I'm going to change it.
Don't worry,
I won't do it again.
Because he's uncomfortable in that moment.
He wants to just get out of it.
That's the first type of pain and the way we react to pain.
We go through pain,
We don't like it,
We want to get it over with,
You know,
We'll listen to a show,
We'll talk to a teacher,
We'll just say,
How can I get out of this situation?
How do I just get this thing?
How do I get my relationship?
How do I just get out of this financial mess?
And I want everybody,
As you hear these examples,
To find where they are in their lives.
That's the firefighter.
What?
That's the firefighter.
Something is wrong,
Let's put out the fire.
Help me put out the fire quickly,
It's burning.
It has nothing to do with the relationship with the father.
They're just uncomfortable.
They don't want to be judged.
They don't want to be in this situation.
I just want to get out of it.
They're not looking at it from the bigger picture of how do I prevent it?
They just wait for the fire to start and then they look for how to put it out.
They're more sorry that they got caught than the fact that they have something that they need to proactively change.
Son number two is when son number two goes through a mistake and the father reprimands him,
The son says,
Yes,
You know what,
You're right.
And he's happy to learn the lesson because he wants to have a good life.
So the son starts to learn,
You know what,
I want to have a good life.
So I am going to learn from this.
I am going to grow from this.
And that's the end of it.
Which is very good.
And the father is happy with that.
The third son is not only happy to learn the lesson,
But he's happy because he wants to get closer.
It's like he respects his father.
He's not doing it because he wants to be comfortable in his life.
He actually wants to get close to his father.
He wants to have similarity to form.
He respects and loves his father.
So this is like a very high level of spirituality.
This is when we go through pain and chaos.
We realize,
Wow,
This pain I'm going through is because I need to get closer in the big way to the light of the Creator.
It's not just about fixing this or fixing that so I can have a good life.
Because a lot of people use Kabbalah.
Or have relief.
Or have relief,
Exactly.
A lot of people use Kabbalah,
Especially in the beginning.
How do I get miracles?
Because Kabbalah is a miracle-making tool.
You're learning the laws of the universe.
It's directly from the original source of the Bible,
The deepest secrets.
And you're learning how to change this world.
So it's very powerful.
In the beginning,
People use it to get comfortable.
Now,
What's the fourth sun?
Which is the most powerful.
The fourth sun,
Every day.
.
.
Now that you have four,
You can actually.
.
.
Now that I have four.
.
.
No,
It's a daughter.
The fourth one's a daughter.
The fourth one's a daughter,
Right?
Because I have three boys and a girl now.
So the daughter is very smart.
Of course she is.
We know that the female is on a higher spiritual level.
So the daughter says.
.
.
I love how you say that under your breath.
So the daughter is basically saying,
Every day she takes inventory and audits herself and looks for any potential source of what could be a problem and goes to her father and says,
Dad,
You know,
I'm having some issues here.
I know I got this.
I know I got this anger issue.
I know I got this problem,
That problem.
I don't know what to do about it.
Right?
I don't feel the urgency even to change it because life is good.
I need your help and your guidance about how to proactively get ahead of this before I make a mistake.
This is the most powerful position to be in.
The first,
We are reactive,
Although still spiritual on some level.
The fourth,
What the daughter did,
Is very powerful and most people don't do it.
Of course it is.
And why I'm sharing that is because people will want to know how to overcome their blockages and they want to know what they need to do about it.
And the advice I gave,
I gave it to two of my students this morning,
The advice is whether you want to or not,
Whether you're busy or not,
You've got to take 10 minutes minimum every morning and start to take inventory of potential issues,
Potential tikkun,
Stuff that's just poking its head but is not a big deal.
We usually live our life and say,
I'll deal with my tikkun when it's a big deal,
When it starts affecting other people,
Or maybe we don't even know if it's a tikkun,
We don't even know if what we have is a problem.
So we say,
All right,
The creator will show it to me and then I'll deal with it then.
I'm saying,
Let's get ahead of it and spending 10 minutes every day,
Even though there's no urgency to do so,
You get to directly talk to the creator.
It's not just that.
If you could measure the amount of pain involved in all four levels,
All four people,
All four approaches,
Number four is the least amount of pain.
And that's the irony is that people are looking for the relief or the,
Right,
We often talk about how human beings,
Our nature is to run toward pleasure and run from pain.
The fourth approach is the most painless way because we're in control of it.
It reminds me of a quick story.
So also like a king and he has a.
.
.
Always a king and a father.
He wanted to give away some of his treasure,
Some of his gold.
So the first,
I don't remember if it was this,
Probably not a son,
But like a friend comes in and he asked for the treasure.
He said,
Here you go,
Here you have it and gives them right away.
And he goes away.
And then the second person comes and he gives them a very hard time.
He's like arguing with them,
What are you going to do with this money?
What do you think you deserve?
And he's asking him questions,
He's keeping him there for like half an hour,
Hour,
And then say,
Okay,
Okay,
You can have it.
And the son of the king sat next to him and said like,
Why this person who didn't even ask any question and give him right away for this person,
You ask him so many questions and gave him such a hard time.
He said,
The first person that I gave the treasure right away,
I can't stand them.
So I wanted to get them out of the house right away.
The second person,
I love him so much,
I want him to hang out a little bit longer.
That's why I asked so many questions because I want him to be near me.
So many times,
Right,
Like the creator wants a relationship with us.
The creator wants us to ask for help and advice.
The creator wants to awaken our desire to want a connection.
For a lot of people,
The only time they have that conversation is when they're desperate.
Right,
Exactly.
And that's why they find themselves in desperation all the time.
That's what they would offer.
We want to change that,
We want to change that dialogue because we have so many shows about prayer,
Right?
Prayer is my personal solitary request in my own language to the creator,
To the light of the creator that says,
I desire change,
I desire growth,
I don't know what it looks like,
I need strength,
I need certainty.
Not a request to destroy all the people around me,
Not the request to get this problem out of my way.
I talk about it all the time because it is the most powerful tool that we learn in Kambala.
Requesting strength from the creator,
Requesting certainty from the creator.
And by the way,
When you request and you say to the creator,
Send me the right people,
Send me the right situations,
Then you meet the right teachers,
Then you hear the right wisdom,
Then you hear,
Because if you want to just get rid of your problem and you don't really want to grow from it,
Say to the creator,
I want to get rid of my problem,
Then you'll hear some kind of wisdom about how you get rid of problems.
But if you really want to grow from it so that on a permanent root level,
It doesn't come back,
You pray for that,
Then you're going to get a different wave of information,
A different wave of mentorship,
A different wave of friends coming to you and talking to you and guiding you.
Ultimately,
We're in control.
I want to ask you a question that's from one of our listeners and I want to hear both of your answers to it.
Okay,
Let's say you decide,
I'm going to take the inventory,
10 minute inventory every day.
How do we keep from being miserable about all the things we need to change?
How do we prevent ourselves from not being down and depressed because we have so much work to do?
I mean,
I'm sure you find people that feel like they're damaged goods,
Unlovable,
Unredeemable.
How do you help people out of that place?
That's why I wanted to actually,
Right when David spoke,
To add another element to it,
Another twist to it.
It's communicating with the creator,
Not just about what do I need to change,
Because that's the first part,
Right,
Identification,
Identifying,
Right?
So we will need help in that.
There's no question about it.
Help me what I need to change,
To see what I need to change.
Help me give me the strength to change it.
But again,
The whole second session that I developed in Tikkun Healing is about the gifts,
The strength and our light,
Our unique light.
And every session with meditation,
The second session is to find our soul signature.
And that's what we want to ask for help with too.
Otherwise,
You're right,
We will get depressed.
I have guilt,
I have anger,
I have shame,
All of the above.
But what good do I have?
And I want to develop a relationship with the creator.
I actually had a conversation yesterday with a friend.
And it's not something that I didn't hear before,
But you reminded me of that,
That true humility,
Humility,
It's not to say,
Oh,
I'm so humble,
I don't have anything good,
Like you're better than me.
And true humility is being aware of my gifts,
Being aware of my strength,
And perhaps because I have this relationship with the creator and I ask,
Show me what I'm good at,
Show me what my gifts are,
Show me what my strengths are.
But true humility is that I know it's a gift,
It's alone,
It's not mine.
And I'm meant to do with it something.
And that's what can help us not to get depressed,
Basically,
Because we need to see the darkness,
But we also need to own our light.
What I find often in my work with people,
And I don't know the whole ins and outs of what you do exactly,
But what I find is that once we figure out,
We identify those gifts,
It's actually the,
I don't mean to use the word twice,
But actualization of those gifts,
Them using those gifts,
That erodes,
I would say,
The list of all the things they need to change.
You can't simultaneously reveal light and darkness.
So if you're focused on revealing your light,
Those qualities within you that you recognize you need to transform can transform simply by virtue of the fact that you're focusing on shining your gifts.
It's an amazing process.
And if you go back to the analogy of the daughter,
Of course,
Going to your dad depressed and saying,
Oh,
These things are horrible about me,
I need your help,
Whatever,
That doesn't make the dad happy either.
Because at the end of the day,
What does your dad want,
Your spiritual dad or however you want to look at it,
Wants you to be strong,
But aware,
But happy.
All the qualities that are represented in the light,
The light wants for us.
So even in our prayers,
We need to not just be asking for,
Show me this or give me strength here,
But also throughout the process,
I want to be happy.
Throughout the process,
I want to have certainty.
Throughout the process,
I want to be available to be the best version of myself to the world.
And the idea is you can ask for anything.
And I think people feel like,
Well,
I can't ask for that.
And maybe I don't deserve this or who am I to ask?
We got to remove all those negative beliefs,
Those limited beliefs about asking the light of the Creator for anything and everything you need to be a better servant,
Spiritual servant of the light of the Creator.
And the reason we bring this discussion to you this week is because the universe is really supporting us to expand our vision of ourselves for the coming year.
We've talked about in the last few episodes how the month of Libra on the Kabbalistic calendar is set up so that we receive all the downloads that we need to have a better year as compared to last year.
I'm sure everybody wants a better year than last year.
But this week specifically,
We can see if that's our desire,
We can demand to see that unique as Daniel called it,
Soul signature.
What is it that I am capable of?
What barriers can I break through this year?
What limiting beliefs,
Behaviors,
Habits,
Patterns do I need to move out of the way in order to become that person that I know I can?
And so you said that there was a third.
Do we get to the third session,
The third piece yet?
No,
But I just want to be mindful of the time and make sure that we don't leave everybody hanging like we do in every episode.
Give us the secrets of the third session.
Well,
Now that we know what's holding us back in our Tikkun and we know what my soul signature are,
My gifts,
My strength,
And I truly internalize it.
And that's,
Of course,
Not,
It's an ever-going process.
But it's starting the progress of strengthening that and working on that.
The third session is about manifestation.
How do I relate to the world around me and the people around me?
And how do I manifest,
What do I do with these gifts?
How am I meant to use them?
What am I meant to do with it?
So here,
Oftentimes,
Also sometimes we identify limiting beliefs that we didn't in the first session.
So we get to clean up some of those too,
Because there can be many fears around that too.
So subconsciously,
We can be blocked at times.
We can say,
Yeah,
I want to manifest that.
I want to manifest sustenance.
I want to manifest a soulmate.
But then,
And that's also a simple exercise maybe that listeners can do.
If you visualize yourself being there already,
You visualize yourself being that person,
And then you can try to visualize how would people react to the new you,
To yourself that is confident,
To yourself that is really here to help,
To shine unconditionally,
Whatever that is.
And sometimes you'll identify or see that some people might not like that new you.
So subconsciously,
You hold yourself back because you're afraid of criticism.
You still want to be liked.
You don't want to be alone.
What if I'm the new me and everybody walks away?
This one,
Alicia,
Is huge.
The fear of being alone.
People associate the problems that they have.
The feelings that are associated to that is loyalty and innocence.
And solutions oftentimes are associated with feelings of guilt.
What do you mean by loyalty and innocence?
Say that again.
So problems.
Problems,
Okay.
It's basically like the saying,
How does the saying go that misery looks for company?
So they are loyal to their problems.
They are loyal to their problems because- Meaning all the single ladies get together and complain about how terrible men are,
And one is afraid to tell everybody I have this great boyfriend because then she's not going to be a part of the crowd anymore.
I see.
That's a very 1% technical example.
It's pretty deep.
And innocence,
Or in a way also victim consciousness.
Explain that.
So when I have problems- It's like a Kabbalah pop quiz.
Definition.
I don't want just wisdom thrown out there.
I want to know where did you get that from?
How did you get to that?
Page number and paragraph,
Please.
What does it mean?
Exactly.
Actually,
A little side note.
Maybe on the next show we can talk about.
Actually,
It's connected to the first show I was on,
Family Matters.
That's another thing that I've been working on a series in Tikkun Healing about family and partners.
I've been doing a lot of research about how to combine Kabbalah with family and package that into a- Oh,
We're going to get to that in a moment.
Go back to the innocence.
Tell me the innocence thing.
That was good.
So problems.
Right?
So what makes the change difficult?
Or why do sometimes subconsciously we don't want to find a solution?
Transition from problem to solution is so difficult because,
Again,
Problem,
The feelings that are associated to that.
And again,
It's not logical,
But people oftentimes still experience it.
So what we experience with problems is our attachment to it,
It makes us feel innocent.
Makes us feel innocent,
The problem.
It's sort of like- What does that mean,
The problem makes us feel innocent?
It means that it's like I'm a victim to it.
I'm a victim.
It happened to me.
I have this problem.
Helpless.
Okay.
That's the word.
Okay.
Yes.
So the problem makes me feel helpless and I'm okay with feeling helpless because I cast away responsibility.
There's no pressure on me.
Is that the idea?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And finding a solution often is associated with guilt,
Like happiness and a solution.
Many times people don't want to be happy,
Again,
Subconsciously because they feel it makes them feel guilty.
If I'll find a solution,
Someone else will lose something.
I see.
For instance.
If I'm happy,
Someone else won't be.
Right.
Basically,
If I win,
Someone else will have to lose.
Or I'll be lonely,
Like Eli Sheva would say.
Right?
The friends that I have,
I have because we're all miserable together.
I see.
Yeah,
Yeah,
Yeah.
That's good.
Yeah.
And we all have to be up so we brush off some of other limiting beliefs that are holding them back from actually manifesting.
Because in their mind,
Everybody wants to manifest their greatness,
But there are many subtle limiting beliefs that are holding them back.
It becomes very complicated because of the people around us.
Because of all the relationships we have,
That's what really makes it complicated.
If we didn't have people around us and we wouldn't have to be dealing with this approval of this and the need to socially interact with that and these energies we become dependent on.
I know this last year has forced us to cut down on our socializing.
Right?
That even if we're texting,
FaceTime,
Skype,
Zoom,
We're definitely around much less people than we were a year ago today.
And how that forces us to focus on the inner chatter and understand.
Sometimes you have a voice inside your head and you're like,
Wait a second,
Who said that?
Oh,
It just sounds just like my mom or just like my aunt or just like my 12th grade teacher.
And you start to realize,
Well,
I can separate,
I can extract that thought or that voice from my soundtrack and replace it with something that supports me and is loving and is kind,
Which is going to then,
The more supporting and loving I am to myself,
The more I can be there for others.
And it becomes a whole totally different musical.
And it's important to note for our viewers,
Our listeners,
Is that this is a process that takes time and that they shouldn't feel the pressure to have to fix everything or figure out everything in a couple of weeks or even a couple of months.
The creator doesn't expect us to fix everything right away.
There's always going to be one thing that's at the forefront that is you know about or if you're looking,
If you want to know,
It will be revealed to you.
And while you're working on that,
All the other stuff,
You have immunity.
All the other stuff is suspended.
Meanwhile,
Work on this one thing that's at your forefront now.
Don't feel like you need to fix everything at the same time because that's another way that the opponent drags us down and makes us throw out the baby with the bathwater.
People are asking how they can get a session with you.
Can we talk about that for a sec?
Sure.
Okay.
So we have arranged for our listeners as we did in April,
And I think a lot of people got to meet with you as a result of that.
For those of you that are interested to do that first session with Daniel,
You can do so.
We have a coupon.
It's not a QR code.
It's on Facebook on the screen now.
If you're watching the video cast,
You can see the website and the coupons.
The coupon for a single session is WBT10.
The coupon for the package of three is WBT15.
You can find more information about that at share.
Kabala.
Com slash Tikun.
If you're listening to the podcast,
You can send an email to energyboost.
Kabala.
Com and we can send you that information.
What does WBT stand for?
Warner Brothers.
No.
Wannabe Tikun.
That's a big Tikun for people that they want to be.
They're a wannabe.
I guess we can talk about that offline.
Maybe that'll be the next show.
Maybe somebody wants to guess and we can raffle off a session with Daniel if they get it right.
It's a big secret.
Okay.
So again,
If you're listening and you have any question about anything we said and you're not able to put it in the comments,
You can always email us at energyboost.
Kabala.
Com.
If you are watching on Facebook,
IGTV,
Or YouTube,
You can post your comments below and we will go back to answer them during the week.
What's the final takeaway?
Each person,
Give a powerful takeaway.
Before we even get to the takeaway,
I want to say,
A lot of you who are listening are saying,
Yes,
Absolutely.
That's what I believe.
That's me.
You're talking about me.
You're talking to me.
Think about people that you know that aren't as aware as you,
That have the pessimistic,
Self-deprecating,
Glasses half empty attitude and share the show with them.
Let us be the eye openers,
The curtain openers to show them that there is another way to live.
I think one of the crazy things about our world is that not everybody realizes you can choose how things affect you,
That you can choose how you respond to people and situations.
And the first step in making change is that realization that I get to write my story.
And I think that's a big takeaway from the sessions with you,
Right?
Yeah,
Absolutely.
I guess my takeaway for today's session is acknowledging and nourish the new story.
There is time and place for everything,
But if we will put it in percentage-wise,
Let's say throughout the day,
80 to 90% of the day should be about what am I good at and how do I want to make a difference with my gifts?
Who can I serve?
How can I add value?
Like empowering myself to empower others.
And then 5 to 10% at the end of the day before I go to sleep,
I say,
Okay,
Where do I suck?
Where is my darkness?
I usually do it at night also.
My mornings are a little hectic for self-reflection,
But at night when history is fresh,
I'm going to do my best.
That's when I do my best work.
I like the morning to be what I need help with so that I don't make the mistake today.
And then the night to be the self-reflection on what I could have done better and what I need strength for the next day.
Because in the morning,
There's a reset button.
When the soul leaves the body,
The negative forces kind of latch on.
And that's why it's harder when you wake up in the morning.
I want everybody who's like me to not feel bad that we're not able to,
You know,
Tape up all the kids' mouths and tell them they don't need breakfast until I'm done doing myself reflection.
All six of you sit down and wait until I'm done meditating.
Obviously,
You're going to have to find a way to do it and maybe cut out 10 minutes of some other nonsense or whatever it is before you get to work or stay in your car or whatever it is.
Okay.
My point is you don't have to not feed your children to do this.
You can't do it.
My children would just starve if I got scared for a second.
Or your dog or your fish.
I don't know.
I'm sure we can find 10 minutes that's going to not our children.
I'm just going to put him on mute for a second.
When I was a younger person without a family to feed,
One of the teachers,
One of my mentors told me that you can actually send,
Before you go to sleep,
You can send with your prayer and your meditation,
Send light to yourself tomorrow so that you can do all the things that you're reflecting that you know you can do better.
One of the powerful lessons that I got from that is that if you can make those last few minutes before you go to bed a spiritual experience,
You actually make your sleep a more spiritual experience.
We will have to have another episode about that.
Last thoughts?
I think we just did our last thought.
My last thought is everybody who's listening,
If you made it to this far in the show,
You get a surprise secret tidbit.
Next episode,
We're going to finally be talking about sex.
That is the number one requested subject.
And witchcraft.
Okay.
We have to learn about witchcraft before we can talk about it.
The joke is that the number one podcast in the world in almost every category is something to do with witchcraft and sex.
We'll be starting with sex next week.
David had a lot of stuff to share about that.
I may have to skip out on next week's show,
So if I'm not here,
You'll know why.
Have a fabulous breakthrough of a week and we will see you next time.
Daniel,
Thank you so much for joining us.
We'll have to get you back another time soon.
Awesome.
And have a fabulous week from all of us on the Weekly Energy Boost.
