Good morning,
Everyone.
Good evening,
Good afternoon,
Wherever you are,
And welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost.
My name is Ali Sheva,
And I am here with David.
Hello.
I'm so excited that David is here,
And we are really excited about today's episode because if we had to compile the questions that we receive from people,
The inquiries,
The personal questions,
The topic asks,
They pretty much always revolve around today's topic to some degree.
Today's topic being chaos.
How can we love to hate chaos or to go from love to hate?
Maybe you're looking at the title and you're saying,
Well,
I hate chaos.
Chaos is always around me.
People are always overly dramatic and exaggerating and causing unnecessary unpleasantness.
Why is it?
Why do I feel like a chaos magnet?
Why do I feel like there's always drama in my family or drama in my office?
Why is there always drama in the world?
Believe it or not,
There's other people that do not think that and do not feel that.
There is actually a way to,
Not only a way,
There are different ways,
And hopefully we'll get to discuss all of them this morning,
To not only diminish the chaos in the actual sense,
But also shift our perception of chaos so as to diminish the drama that can surround the conflicts that we don't create,
But for whatever reason,
The universe considers essential for us to experience,
And we'll talk about that as well.
The Weekly Energy Boost podcast is your seven-day spiritual weather forecast.
David and I,
And sometimes our guests,
Glean through the wisdom of Kabbalah to identify the most powerful and practical tools to help our listeners navigate the challenges that might come up each week and also the opportunities for growth and expansion.
We just,
If you're listening on Monday,
If you're listening live,
Today is also the new moon of Taurus on the Kabbalistic calendar,
Which we have to give a second and a half to because it's an important day.
There's different factors that are influencing today's topic.
We try to bring the conversation,
Even though it's very practical and relevant for any day,
Any week,
Any month,
Any year,
It's inspired by the energy that the Kabbalists talk about is available this week.
Part of that formula comes from it being.
.
.
David needing to clear his throat.
Part of it comes from the energy of Taurus that begins this week,
And the energy of Taurus.
Taurus is an earth sign,
And all of the earth signs are connected to the physical material realm to some degree.
In the case of Taurus,
And the reason it's worth talking about is not because we want to give props to our Taurus friends,
But because Kabbalah explains that in that month,
We all have the tendency to behave a little bit Taurus.
Our Taurus friends tend to enjoy physical pleasures,
To like their comfort,
To live within their comfort zone at all costs,
And also tend to need,
And this is where the topic,
This week's topic intersects,
Is in order for them to take action,
They literally have to be surrounded by an inferno.
That the amount of chaos required to motivate a typical Taurus to take action,
To make changes,
To break out of their shell,
To get out of a relationship,
To move forward in whatever way,
Things have to be extremely,
Extremely bad.
And in a positive sense,
They are very difficult to anger because of that.
Like you have to really do something bad,
Or it has to accumulate in tons,
Tons of emotional baggage in order for them to get upset.
You're married to a Taurus.
What is the Taurus doing from the moment it's receiving the burden or the abuse or whatever it is,
To the moment it explodes?
What are they doing with that energy,
With that content?
I think how they process it varies by other factors,
Meaning my husband has a lot of,
He's mostly air and fire,
So his tendency,
Sorry,
Earth and fire.
So his tendency is to take it inward and say,
This is good for me.
I deserve this.
This is cleansing,
Very spiritual.
He says,
I accept,
I embrace,
And then,
Really rarely,
Really,
Really rarely,
We're talking annually or biannually.
He comes to a frustration.
It's usually frustration.
It's not anger,
Where he bursts a little bit and goes right back to peace and tranquility.
So the importance and why it lends itself to this conversation is that we don't,
By ignoring or denying or sort of hoping the chaos goes away,
It's actually asking it to increase.
And that,
I think,
Is one thing that we want to call out here.
I think you can say that again.
That when there is a challenge and we don't acknowledge it,
It needs to increase on the chaos scale.
So we- Why?
And why?
Because any challenge that comes to us,
I feel like this is an oral exam,
Any challenge that comes to us comes to us because we have the opportunity to grow or transform.
The chaos has an intelligence that it wants to transfer to.
I'm talking even before it becomes chaotic.
It comes as,
Pssst,
David,
Here's something you can work on.
And then David says,
All right,
All right,
When I'm done with this.
And then inevitably it doesn't enter,
We forget about it,
It becomes a lesser priority to the things that need to get taken care of.
And then the universe comes and says,
Hey,
Buddy,
It's time to work on this.
And okay,
Okay,
Okay,
I got it and I'm going to toy with it for a second and then I'm going to move on to other more important things.
And the universe has to gradually get louder in order to get our attention and help us to focus on what's really important,
Which is not the chaos.
Wow,
I have such a good example.
I got a text from a student last week who was sharing with me,
She shared with me a conversation,
Online conversation.
Apparently somebody called the office and threatened to hold them at gunpoint,
Said they were going to come and shoot up the place on the phone.
Did they?
No.
But they threatened to.
Okay,
So here is a very virtual,
It's not actually happening,
It's just the threat of it happening,
Obviously created a lot of drama there.
So she was asking me how could this possibly,
Like what's wrong with people and how could you explain this spiritually?
And I basically told her that,
First of all,
I didn't say this,
But the fact that it didn't happen means that it really was just for the sake of awakening.
There was no actual danger,
There was no real threat,
It was like a simulation.
The second thing is it came to awaken every single person in that room or every single person in the office and there were also patients there,
It was a medical office.
So everybody who was affected by that has a question to ask themselves,
The question is the same,
But the answer is going to be different for everybody.
The question is how is this happening for me?
How can this situation,
What is this situation coming to help me do or grow or transform into?
That's it.
So anytime something comes to shake us up,
The shaking has to get stronger only because we're not getting the message.
We're not leaning into the fact that this is happening for me and not to me.
In Kabbalistic terminology,
As you were speaking,
We always talk about if the creator wants to give a person fulfillment,
Does the person have the capacity to receive that fulfillment?
And then how do we define capacity?
We use the word in Kabbalah,
The vessel,
Synonymous with desire.
And so one thing that we know is that when a person does go through a difficult time,
A painful time,
We know that it opens them up in some way,
Whether it humbles them,
It cleanses them,
And we use all these different words,
But it opens them up to receive that which the creator has been holding for them to give.
It's already been given,
But now they can receive it.
So the Kabbalists basically say,
Well,
If you know that chaos can do that,
Can achieve an opening inside you to have you receive,
What can you do to mimic that same effect without having to go through the chaos?
I think this is the anti-Taurus energy because people always say,
What should I be doing this week?
We talk about it.
What should I be doing?
The energy of the week,
The energy of the month,
What should I be doing?
The rule is you should always be the opposite of the energy that exists.
So what does that mean?
It means,
For example,
We talk about the Omer.
We're in the period of the Omer,
The 49-day period that we are in the third week,
But we're in the 16th day,
16th day if I'm not mistaken.
We're in the 16th day of this 49-day period,
Which is a period Kabbalistic that person can build the next level of who they are,
Which means there's an acceleration of Tikkun,
Of correction,
An acceleration of negative thoughts and feeling and experiencing things that are blocking us.
And so it's called the time of judgment.
It means that the world is treating the person with a strict energy,
A strict energy.
So if that's the energy of the Omer,
The strict judgment,
I should be the opposite of that in order to balance it out always.
So there's always the balancing.
It's kind of like if everyone's buying,
You're selling.
If everyone's selling,
You're buying.
When everybody thinks the world's falling apart,
You should think that the world is being put back together.
And that is the secret to success in everything.
But if you're following the crowd,
If you're following the herd,
If you're constantly being consumed by the outside energy,
So you're just the effect of everything,
So you're not with the light of the Creator,
You're not with the miracles because you're just following the energy.
This is the secret to spirituality.
How aware can we be to be the opposite of what's going on?
So if everyone's happy and exuberant and feeling immortal,
You should take a moment to kind of contemplate your mortality.
You should take a moment to – it's always like when do you leave the party?
You leave the party when it's getting good.
That's when you leave the party.
But everybody wants to stay when it's good and leave when it's bad.
Also with relationships.
Also with the spiritual path.
I mean I know we have so many students who are on the spiritual path of Kabbalah.
I always tell them if you're enjoying this path and it's changing your life,
There's going to be a moment where the opponent is going to find a way to disconnect you from any type of spiritual path because that's his job.
His job is to ensure that there's a friction for you,
Some kind of limitation for you to grow because you need an opponent.
I always tell my students like if you're going to leave the spiritual path,
Leave on a high note.
Leave when it's gone great.
You should leave – if you want to say it's confirmed.
Or psychology.
Well,
No.
I know it sounds like that but it's actually a big secret.
I told this to myself and I tell this to my students.
If you ever even have an inkling to leave something that has been good for you,
It could be a relationship.
Don't leave when it's really bad because when it's really bad,
It's easy – it's like you want to leave.
It's easy to leave.
You have logic to leave the path.
You should leave when it – you have to say to yourself,
You know what?
I'm going to make it good and then I'm going to leave because if it's bad,
It's bad,
Right?
Whether you're in a – whether the path – whether you feel good or don't feel good,
It doesn't really matter.
Like if you're not meant to study a spiritual path,
Then you're still not meant to study it in three months,
Right?
So you should always leave when it's good,
Not when it's bad.
There's always the opposite.
Always doing the opposite of what the energy is,
Is the way to connect the light of the Creator in that period of time.
Why do you think some people seem to be engulfed in chaos all the time and other people live swimmingly seamless lives?
Your question is why is it – you're basically trying to ask the question that some people are thinking which is my life seems chaotic and their lives don't.
That's the question you're asking?
So why – number one,
98% of what I think is my chaotic life is just really happening in my head.
So let's start there.
People think like,
Oh,
My life is chaos.
If you actually like look at your life objectively,
98% of the pain you feel is just you having a conversation with yourself in your head about all sorts of things that probably aren't even happening,
Right?
This is very important.
Listen carefully to this.
And this is why when you are looking at someone else's life,
It seems calm because they're looking at your life saying the same thing.
They're looking at your life and taking a snapshot of it and saying,
Look,
This person has a good situation going.
But what you don't see is that the turmoil that goes on in the minds and thoughts of people.
This is why I teach at Robert Berg.
This is what I love about the wisdom that we study is he always focused on controlling your consciousness,
Controlling your – how do you double down on the efforts of controlling your mind,
Of simplifying your thoughts,
Of – there's a weird voice.
I think it's God talking to us.
There's a weird voice.
I don't know.
God wants to call in to the episode.
There's some kind of vibration of a voice coming from another wall.
So where was I?
Before God interrupted us.
In your head,
The thoughts in your head.
The thoughts in your head.
That's right.
That's right.
I'm learning always and I'm more and more investing in this these days because the energy is so,
So all over the place in the world.
I'm spending more and more time asking myself,
OK,
I got to stop trying to have conversations in my head.
I got to stop trying to talk to myself about the future or the past or all this stuff.
And sometimes in our heads,
We're also talking to other people.
Re-enacting or enacting situations that haven't happened yet.
What am I going to say when I see them or when this happens?
Which is of and within itself its own form of chaos and drama.
That's right.
The shower scene.
Right.
We all put that scalding hot water on us while we curse people out in our brains.
Confessions of a Kabbalah teacher.
That's just me.
Well,
So and I spoke about this last week on Saturday and we just talked about it now.
Kabbalah has actually made it clear.
The conversations that we have in our mind actually are all disconnecting us from the light.
All conversations in your brain are just a form of a drug to draw short term energy and have no benefit whatsoever.
We think the conversations in our mind are preparing for the external conversation we're going to have.
The conversations in our mind are preparing us to confront someone or do something or we think we're just planning it.
Basically the Kabbalists say that is a drug that we use to draw short term energy.
The question is how many times a day can you catch yourself doing that?
They say the solution is you have to bring the conversation outside of yourself to the Creator.
We always talk about this.
Are you.
.
.
Talk to the Creator.
The analogy is as a mom,
Think about it as a mom,
If your child feels bad about something,
Do you want them to keep it inside and try to solve it in their brain or do you find comfort that they come to you and even if it's just a vomit of what they're feeling and what they went through and it sounds not cohesive,
You appreciate that your child is revealing to you their struggle.
I think that's the goal of every parent is to have their child feel safe to process out loud and with someone else rather than to hold everything inside.
That's right.
In the same way that a parent appreciates the outward processing of a child,
The Creator appreciates the outward processing of us.
We think,
Oh,
The Creator can read my thoughts,
This and that.
It's not about the Creator.
It's about the process of speaking out loud creates vessels of light.
The Creator has basically said,
I will respect your privacy if you keep it in your head,
But I will interact with you if you speak it out loud.
The Kabbalists were very adamant about finding a place of isolation and talking out loud to the Creator whenever you can about all your problems.
Just bring it out to the atmosphere.
This is the solution to the conversations we're having in our head.
The Omer is also a very particular time and Taurus energy is keep it inside.
Everything about that energy is keep it inside and it only comes out if it gets real hot,
Like you said.
If it starts to boil,
I'll talk about it.
If it gets real bad,
When people see a therapist is when it gets real bad.
People see a coach or even sometimes they come to study Kabbalah.
It's not because they had an awakening that they need to go to their next level.
Something's not working,
So I need something.
We want to get out of that mindset.
We want to build proactive vessels.
We do that by starting to talk out loud with the Creator and not keep it inside.
That moves us forward in a painless way.
I think a lot of what you're talking about,
David,
Requires a tremendous degree of self-awareness that maybe not everybody has or we're striving for,
But we don't even realize that we have these subtle inner behaviors that amplify the drama and chaos in our lives.
I know for a lot of us,
And this is something that is now highlighted in a lot of conversations in psychology,
In the psychology world,
Is that a lot of us were raised in a chaotic home,
So we only feel like things are okay when they're chaotic.
That's their comfort zone.
That's not what I'm familiar with.
Right.
The fact,
And our teacher,
Robert,
Used to say,
We hug our chaos.
Why do we hug our chaos?
Because,
I forget what the phrase is,
But it's like better the devil that we are familiar with than- The devil you know versus the devil you don't.
Right.
People worry when things are not chaotic.
When's the other shoe going to drop?
Why is everything so calm right now?
I need to stir something up.
There needs to be something to work on.
There needs to be some sort of hysteria.
This is a great week,
Not only because it's the month of Taurus,
But being that third,
We're in that third week of the Omer,
We have the opportunity to draw to us that,
I would call it a blessing of peace of mind,
Of tranquility,
The opposite of the chaos that we're talking about to know that there's nothing wrong with those moments that we catch ourselves in that we say,
Wow,
I'm actually doing okay.
This is working.
This feels good.
This feels successful.
Sometimes it happens,
I know that I hear from students that we have a conversation and we learn something and they take it into their lives,
They implement it and it works and they feel good and it feels successful and strong and connected,
Not from an arrogance point of view of look at how powerful I am,
Look at how mighty I am,
Look what I achieved,
But the opposite.
I implemented something,
A powerful spiritual teaching or tool or principle.
I'm living my life by these ideas and I had a great conversation.
I walked into a difficult conversation and it turned out amazingly because I implemented what I learned and it is okay to celebrate those successes.
What I think is the distinction between that Taurus complacency,
Nothing is wrong to look at what's going on here,
It's really working,
Is that desire,
Not desire,
The willingness to be uncomfortable.
That is really the key this week and this month is not being uncomfortable,
Not sleeping on a bed of nails,
But being willing,
Embracing the potential for discomfort.
That's actually where the,
I would say that that's the secret recipe to not ever needing to be in chaos,
Not ever needing to be squeezed to the point or sitting in the middle of the inferno is to honestly and genuinely feel like whatever it takes.
I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
That mantra,
That belief system to replace all the other belief systems is really the way to mitigate the chaos because basically it's the universe wants to show us the fire and for us to be willing to walk through it.
That before maybe the old us was afraid,
The old us would want to run the other way,
The old us would actually draw a crowd to look at the fire rather than actually deal with it.
Just sit there and talk about how crazy is the fire,
How did the fire get there and obviously fire is a metaphor for any kind of drama or chaos that you may be experiencing in your life.
A difficult person,
A difficult situation,
It really doesn't matter.
It's easier to call people to stare at the fire than it is to walk through it and many times when you walk through it and this is really the key to living this is on the other side of the fire you realize that the fire was just smoke and mirrors.
That it was all there just to get you and I'm sure everybody who's listening,
You can all look back on a moment in your lives that you thought was your superhero moment.
You were dealt a hand of cards that you can't even believe you played and looking back it wasn't that big of a deal or you thought it was going to be much worse than it actually was.
People go through surgical procedures and they say that.
They go through breakups and they say that.
They go through transitions in their life and they say that but most of the time the anticipation of what's going to happen is much worse.
That's where the drama is,
Is in the anticipation.
We're having the meeting.
What are we going to do?
We have to have that meeting or we have to have that conversation or we're going to court or Thanksgiving is coming or we've got to confront my dad about whatever.
The buildup is far worse than the actual happening.
One of the things we also want to be conscious of is how we use our words and our energy to amplify the drama and the chaos or diminish the drama and the chaos.
We have different situations going on now and there is obviously going to be in this time of the Omer drama.
That's another reason this conversation is super timely.
The drama is really just there in this time to test how much have we grown.
Have we really increased our capacity to reveal light because if we increase our capacity to reveal light,
That means we also increase our capacity to handle challenges,
Not chaos,
Challenges.
There's a big difference because a challenge is simply an opportunity to transform.
Chaos can be overwhelming,
Can be disempowering,
Can be suffocating.
I was reading something,
David,
And I would love to hear your thoughts on this as well.
Our teacher,
Rav Berg,
Would often talk about the word chaos.
I think the Rav even had a book called Taming Chaos.
The Rav would say that the reason people live immersed in chaos in all areas of their lives is because they think that they're going to work on it.
I'm going to,
Oh,
I have this challenge in my life.
I'm going to work on it.
I'm going to do a little bit here.
I'm going to be a little bit better of a husband.
I'm going to be a little bit better of a son.
I'm going to be a little bit better of this and that.
Little by little things are going to go away without really looking at the root.
Why is this in my movie?
Why is this happening?
My wife said I'm insensitive.
I'm going to be a little bit more sensitive.
The real question is why am I insensitive?
Why is this in my movie?
What is this coming to teach me,
To show me,
To help me grow?
Going to the root of it,
Not dealing with the situational chaos,
But going to the cause,
The root,
The seed is actually where the remedy for the chaos is.
Sometimes it's enough just to know,
Oh,
This is in my movie because X,
Y,
And Z,
That the chaos actually doesn't need to be as profound because you've woken up to it.
You've acknowledged it.
You've become aware of it.
I don't know,
David,
What is your go-to remedy when you come across somebody?
Somebody comes to you and their life is an inferno.
What's the question exactly?
What is your advice?
Everything's falling apart.
What do I do?
Everything's falling apart.
What do I do?
In an uplifting way,
Not a depressing way,
Please.
What would I do with that kind of a person?
I would ask them a lot of questions.
I'd ask them questions.
I'd probably want to get them to say what it is about their chaotic situation that they are enjoying and wanting to bring in.
Yes,
You walked right into it.
I walked right into that one.
Yes.
That's what came to my mind when you asked.
No,
But that's the truth is that we do derive a certain pleasure from chaos.
Now,
Everybody's listening and saying,
You're sick.
Nobody likes chaos.
What do we mean when we say deriving pleasure from chaos?
Through a series of questions,
Which don't really come to my mind because they're not really focused,
I would be asking them whatever is happening in our life is because we're good at doing that.
We're good at that.
And so I would want to bring them to a place to kind of give them a gut check of what do they really want.
I think when people don't have a goal and they're not really focused on what they want,
The opponent creates a goal for them.
That's where the chaos is.
When you're not focused on what you want,
Other people will tell you what you should want.
I think that's a big issue.
People who have a lot of chaos,
They're not really clear about what it is they're working for or who they're working for.
And so you get caught up in everyone else's thoughts and opinions and the desires that are floating in this world.
So you're always the effect of your surroundings.
I don't know why it came to my mind that we had this thing a couple of days ago,
You and I.
And I have this concept called off duty.
Sometimes I'll be at dinner and someone will be like,
So what's Kabbalah?
Like,
Dude,
I'm off duty here.
I'm in my civilian clothes.
I'm just here to shut down the brain a little bit and just have fun with you.
And they're asking me questions about their personal life.
So I was kind of had my off duty moment.
I share this because I think we all have our off duty moments.
And technically that's where the light is.
The light comes when you're off duty,
Not when you're on duty.
So I had my off duty moment on Saturday.
I was talking to some friends and you walked over to me.
This is Ellie Sheva walking over to me saying.
Obviously I'm on duty.
Yeah.
Sheva was always on duty,
Apparently,
Even with her kids with her.
So she comes like,
David,
Teacher didn't show up for some lecture.
I need you to give it.
I said,
When?
What?
She's like,
Right now.
I got to come and give him a lecture.
And so my off duty.
Well,
Just to be fair,
Someone came to me and was like,
We need you to give a five minute lecture.
They said to you.
Yeah.
And I'm like,
Hey,
I did it last week.
You're going to give me a surprise lectures by me.
Oh,
Because I was wondering.
David's here.
I'm like,
Why doesn't Ellie Sheva do this?
Everybody who was at the lecture is now going to be like,
Really?
That happened?
Why is she passing that hot potato to me?
But there was this moment where I so didn't want to,
I so was just going to say,
You deal with it.
And I was actually going to say fine and then like disappear.
Like in a true Pisces.
And then I'm like,
Why did the creator send the Sheva?
There's no such thing as off duty.
And you know what it was?
I was so uncomfortable.
It's funny because we do,
This is what we do all day long,
But if it's not on my terms,
I don't want to do it.
You're welcome.
Yeah.
Well,
I think it's a powerful thing because we,
And I realized probably every lecture I've given this entire year has only brought darkness and chaos,
Except for that one that you made me do because there was no aspect of it.
And I decided that was so powerful.
I don't even,
I don't know what I said.
I just remember at the end you apologized.
You're like,
I'm sorry,
It's not about the weekly energy,
But I just said I had to share this.
I even tried to say,
Well,
Let's do it together and make it a weekly energy boost.
And you're like,
No,
That's not,
That's not the crowd,
The crowd.
That's not the,
That's not the week.
We have to save our material for the podcast.
It was the second component to this.
And I said,
You know what?
If I'm going to totally humiliate myself here because I have not prepared nothing,
I'm going to just walk up there and do it like Robert Berg style.
And I'm just going to close my eyes.
And I closed my eyes the whole time I spoke,
I closed my eyes and I'm just going to whatever words come to my mouth.
I'm just going to say it now.
I don't remember what I said,
But I'm happy that I had the opportunity and I think it also forges a powerful lesson for,
Because then the next day I went with a bunch of,
With a group of students to,
We went to the beach and the thoughts came to me that said,
You know,
We should go and immerse ourselves in the cold Pacific ocean for,
As a form of cleansing called the mikvah.
And then I'm like,
Oh,
I don't really want to do that.
It's very cold.
I'm,
You know,
It's uncomfortable.
And then it was also a chilly day.
It was,
It was,
It wasn't the hottest day.
And then I remember actually what we went through on Saturday and I said,
You know what?
This is it.
This is what it's about.
So then we all went in the water and it was really nice thing.
So when you,
When you go outside your comfort zone,
It begets the strength to go out again and then again,
And then you have freedom.
And when you don't,
Your world gets smaller.
Your community gets smaller.
Your light gets smaller.
Everything gets smaller,
But your comfort gets bigger,
Right?
But it's just,
It's not a fresh feeling.
You don't feel fresh,
You don't feel alive anymore.
So that's,
That's my consciousness for today.
About the month of Taurus and the Omer is number one,
And we got to end it here.
Number one,
Check,
Check in with yourself about your off duty time,
Right?
Technically we should be fluid and nimble.
We should be channels.
There's not on duty,
Off duty.
Number two,
Because that's where the light is.
Number two,
All the conversations in our head are short circuits.
They're actually disconnecting us in the light.
There's no actual,
Because sometimes I think we think it's good.
We're planning.
It's like,
What do you call it on the barbecue?
The fire starter.
It's just fire starter.
It just makes the flames higher and hotter.
Those chats in your mind.
That's right.
And because we actually think it's a good thing.
We think it's spiritual to have those and we think it's preparing us.
And it's so energizing.
It is for a moment.
But it's actually disconnecting you totally from the light of the crater.
And the solution to that is you talk out loud.
And the more you can catch yourself this month talking to yourself and then stopping that.
And we can give more tools maybe next time.
Because I'm learning a lot about a lot of different tools to stop the mind.
That's the answer.
That's the solution for this week and this month.
Have a fabulous week and we'll see you next time on the Weekly Energy Boost.

Thank you both for this teaching ( at three in the morning for me) I really got it that I need to talk to God out loud about the chaos in my head (I have difficultly with my childhood understanding of the word God) and I was able to do that. Hallelujah! My husband of almost 63 years has a terminal illness for which there is no cure and I am feeling somewhat overwhelmed. By talking out loud to God, I got the message that I am not alone with this situation. That I have children, grandchildren and friends who are supporting me. It’s truly ‘one day at a time’ and I will be fine. Many blessings to you. ❤️
