Becoming Optimistic - Weekly Energy Boost
Everybody has good days and bad days – some that stretch into weeks, months, and even years. But how do we stay in a good headspace regardless of what’s going on around us? In this episode, we share techniques for staying centered, balanced, and connected in the face of chaos and challenge. Episode 2 of 4. Original airdate: 2/22/21

Good morning,
Everyone.
Good evening,
Good afternoon,
Wherever you are,
And welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost.
My name is Ellie Sheva,
And I am here this glorious Monday morning with David Guillaume,
And we are very optimistic about today's show.
We have been focusing,
As we do every week on the Weekly Energy Boost,
We have been focusing on the energy of the week and the month and how to take advantage of what the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us about the energy of the coming week.
The Weekly Energy Boost is that seven-day forecast that will prepare you for the ups and downs and hopefully more ups than downs in the coming week,
But we've also been widening the telescope a little bit and looking at the energy of the month.
Being that this is the month of Pisces,
The tendency is,
I don't know if you guys remember Peanuts,
Charlie Brown,
There was a character,
Right,
That had a cloud,
I'm confusing the cartoons,
But it's nice to remember that anyway.
You know,
Those characters in cartoons that have the cloud that follows them wherever they go,
A non-spiritual Pisces will be that character.
That it's,
You know,
Why bother,
Doom and gloom.
Last week we talked about staying motivated for that reason,
And this week we're talking about how to keep a positive and healthy attitude,
Mindset,
Energy,
Perspective,
Regardless of what happens around us.
That's one of the things that all water signs have in common,
According to Kabbalistic astrology,
Is that they're very affected by what's happening around them,
Much like water seeks its level.
Water signs accommodate and adjust themselves to what's happening externally.
So when something good happens,
We're happy,
And when something bad happens,
We're sad,
And two minutes later we could be happy again because we got some news that something good is going to happen,
Or the bad news we heard before is no longer valid.
So the real key and the gift,
I think one of the most powerful gifts I've learned,
We've learned as students of Rauve Berg,
Is that the goal in life,
What really helps us to stay happy and fulfilled,
And most importantly connected to the light force of the creator,
Is having those peaks and valleys closer together.
That one of the,
You could tell Rauve Berg,
I don't know,
We just won $50 million and the Rauve would go,
That's nice.
And you could tell the Rauve,
Well Rauve,
We just lost $50 million and the Rauve would go,
That's nice.
And that even keel is actually,
Maybe that's a bit extreme as a master Kabbalist,
I don't know that any of us would be able to master that level of tranquility in the face of anything,
But the goal is that those peaks and valleys will be closer together so that our baseline is actually higher than ever.
One of the things we spoke about before was,
When does a person receive something from the universe that it's like,
The universe supports this giving,
You're not taking it,
It comes to you in a means of blessings,
Is when you don't need it anymore.
And this is the golden rule,
This is in every facet of life,
If the pain you're feeling right now is with your love life,
Or there's something happening in your marriage and you're confused and it's not going in the direction you want,
Something happening with your children or in business,
What's keeping it stuck,
Well one thing that's keeping it stuck,
Is our need for it to happen.
Meaning if it doesn't happen or if it's not happening,
I'm an emotional wreck,
I'm afraid,
I have anxiety.
And so people are so focused on the goal of trying to get something,
Trying to connect to the energy,
That they don't realize that that needing to connect to the energy is what's pushing the energy away.
Well maybe we talk about it even a little too much on this show,
But we talk a lot about being the cause.
And I think that to talk about it in emotional terms will be very helpful for people because we understand what it means to be the cause when we're starting a project or we're asking someone out on a date or we're asking somebody to have a difficult conversation,
We're the initiator,
We're the cause.
What does it mean to be the cause emotionally?
It means that I live in the reality where I get to decide how things affect me.
I live in the reality where I decide,
And there's that,
I think it's a Chinese folktale about the man who,
The horse wanders onto his property,
Onto his farm and all of his neighbors say,
Wow,
You're so lucky,
Now you have a horse to help you plow your fields.
And the farmer says maybe,
Maybe I'm lucky.
Then while they're working the fields,
The horse kicks the farmer's son and breaks both his legs.
So the neighbors say,
Oh,
That's so terrible,
How tragic.
And the farmer says,
Maybe.
And then a few weeks later,
War breaks out in the land and the army comes by to enlist every able-bodied male from every household.
And because he has two broken legs,
The farmer's son can't enlist.
So all the neighbors say,
Wow,
You're so lucky.
And the farmer says,
Maybe.
And it goes on and on and on and on and on.
Meaning that,
You know,
I think any other person,
Any other farmer would have been excited for the horse,
Devastated by the injury,
Excited by the fact that their son,
Right?
So that,
That the idea that I get to decide,
You know,
This is amazing.
And we're not saying you should be apathetic and if good things happen,
Simmer down,
Right?
What we're saying is by pausing and asking,
What do I get for,
What's my takeaway here?
This,
This difficult thing is happening.
Or I don't know,
One of the things we had to show a few episodes ago on transforming grief.
And I had a beautiful,
Someone reached out to me on Instagram saying that they hadn't actually personally lost,
But so many of their friends are grieving that it really helped them be able to be there better for their friends and their family and that friends and how powerful that was,
How the timing and whatnot.
And the,
The,
One of the takeaways from that show was we get to assign meaning to the tragedy,
Right?
There's so many people that because of loss,
Because of pain,
Because of suffering,
They've created something better.
They've redefined how the quote negative situation or negative occurrence affected them.
And that's really what we're talking about today.
That,
That yes,
You know,
We're living in a time where there is a lot of crazy.
You know,
Most people say,
Well,
It's a much crazier time than ever.
I beg to differ.
I always say that the fact that it's what's different,
What's unique about these times is that everybody's letting their crazy hang out.
So what it was always there.
It's just now people feel that they can be transparent about their strong beliefs and prejudices and hatred.
But the truth of the matter is I get to decide when I re I woke up in the morning and I read some sad article,
It,
I can let it bring me down or I can decide,
You know what,
That to me is an example of how I can affect change in the world.
Even if I can't go up to that person and tell them what's wrong or how,
You know,
I can't put them behind bars.
I can be the opposite for us.
What can I do today in the world to reveal light?
The formula that we've spoken about many times on this show is we're not,
We're not advocates of not having a desire because we've learned in the deeper studies of Kabbalah called the 10 Lulens Emanations,
Which I spoke about last week as well,
Is that the desire of every human being has four phases and actually only the human kingdom has four phases of desire.
Each of the other kingdoms have less than four,
Right?
So we said that the mineral kingdom has one phase of desire,
The vegetable two,
The animal three,
And then it's the human that has four phases.
And the fourth phase is the capacity to receive all of the light of the Creator.
And when part of our spiritual work is to have this fourth phase desire.
The fourth phase desire means I want a connection to the light of the Creator because by doing so I want everything.
We show this example in Kabbalah one,
Class one,
Where we show the white light that reflects through a prism and then we see all the colors.
And we say that it's very similar to how in life we have the white light,
Which is the light of the Creator,
And then we have the colors of the rainbow that are encompassed in the white light,
Which are success of all kinds of different kinds of fulfillment and love and friendship and all the little things we're chasing after.
So instead of chasing after colors,
We advocate chasing for the all-encompassing light of the Creator,
Which everyone,
Every religion in any walk of life can do.
You just have to follow the rules.
And so the Kabbalah say,
When a person has a desire for a color,
One thing,
I need this relationship to work out.
I need this specific thing to work out.
I hope I get that.
Oh,
I hope I get that.
When you're in that frame of mind,
You're choosing a color.
You're not choosing the big light that encompasses everything.
And therefore you're not accessing what we call your fourth phase desire.
So that was a longer winded way of trying to bring a deep concept and making it practical,
Which is,
Well,
This is just the first part of the lesson.
I have another part,
Which I'm going to share in a moment after you speak.
But the idea is we have to get to this place that when we wake up in the morning,
We have all these little pleasures and desires that we want fulfilled.
But I remind myself,
My soul wants everything.
My soul wants connection to the light of the Creator,
Which encompasses everything.
Well,
Our tendency as human beings is to want to destroy whatever makes us unhappy.
So whether it's a news story,
A politician,
A disease,
A superior in the place that you work,
The tendency is to say,
I want to get rid of this thing.
I want to destroy this thing.
I want to end it.
And one of the,
I think this is also,
Usually David pulls these things out,
But one of the more deeper concepts that we learn also from the Kabbalists is that everything has a right to exist.
And anything that we experience,
Not as pleasure,
As light,
As beauty,
As enjoyment is simply a creation that has not fully ripened yet.
If you've ever eaten a sour persimmon,
You know that there are very few culinary,
David brings the digestive examples,
There's very few bodily experiences that are more difficult than a sour persimmon.
You only have to eat it once.
And if you haven't yet,
I almost encourage you to do it just to know the extreme experience I'm talking about.
Is that when your mouth starts to pucker up?
It's your lipstick to your teeth.
It's a really unusual and uncomfortable experience.
The point being that at that moment,
The realization is,
Well,
Wait a second,
This is one of the sweetest fruits in existence.
What the heck happened?
And I think that you can copy paste that dialogue onto a relationship that goes south,
A job that was amazing that ends up not working out.
It's like you look at it and you say,
What happened?
This was supposed to be my soulmate.
This was supposed to be the perfect job.
This was supposed to be the best apartment.
I don't know.
There's so many different places that you could add that.
What happened?
I remember even in teaching classes and having people say,
Well,
When I fell in love,
Wasn't that the light?
That wasn't the light force of the creator when our eyes locked and it was love at first sight and all we could do was think about one another and now I just want to kill the other person.
How do you explain that?
The Kabbalists explain that whenever we take something that we dislike,
And this is really,
I think,
One of the big important themes of this month is that we assign the meaning that relationship was bad,
That job was bad,
That boss was bad,
That person is bad,
Persimmons are bad.
What we're doing is we're basically tasting fruit that has not been given the opportunity to ripe.
And then how do you know,
Even if you think I'm crazy right now,
How do I know you believe this to be true?
Each one of us,
Pause for a second,
Stop your train of thought and think about something that happened to you in your life that was difficult,
That was painful,
But looking back now,
You realize how valuable of an experience it was.
You wouldn't change it for the world.
You're grateful for the experience.
You're glad that you learned what you learned and what it taught you.
That's what we're talking about.
That you can say,
Okay,
Of course hindsight is 20,
20,
But the truth is that it's really up to us to ripen the fruit.
It's up to us to get what we're supposed to from it and we have the opportunity by embracing.
That's the secret sauce and really one of the things that I encourage everyone to do this week,
Maybe it's an assignment,
Is to look at all of those things in your life that you're looking at as bad,
As uncomfortable,
As difficult,
As you're dreading it.
How can I embrace what's going on in that area or in that relationship or in that process right now?
Because embracing it actually speeds up the ripening process.
If you're wondering what embrace can mean,
We always say you have to toggle between these two energies,
Which is you want something,
Which is followed up because every time we want something,
The heart wants something,
The body starts to move towards how to manifest it,
Even if that's thinking about it,
Talking to people about it,
Researching it.
You go through that process of trying to receive that thing that you want.
We need to always toggle between wanting something,
Craving it,
Working for it,
And then surrendering.
How do you know when you need to surrender?
Surrender doesn't mean something permanent.
It means at that very moment you just need to let go.
You know you need to surrender.
You know you need to let go,
I.
E.
Embrace.
It's interesting.
The words for surrender and embrace in our frame are really meaning the same thing.
Embrace looks like you're holding on to something.
Surrender looks like you're letting go of something.
But in this context it's the same thing.
How do you know you need to surrender right now,
Let go of something,
If you're starting to have anxiety about it?
That means it's time to let go.
Not let go permanently because that's the fear people have.
People think,
I've got to let go of this relationship.
I can never have it again.
No,
You need to let go at this moment and be okay at this moment not having the thing you're anxious about.
What that does,
That let go,
According to Kabbalistic,
It creates what's called the returning light.
It reflects.
You're basically pushing this energy away.
Instead of trying to take it,
You push it away.
The push becomes the new vessel that encapsulates the energy.
It sounds deep.
It sounds like a deep concept,
But that's actually why whenever you let go of something,
You actually begin the process of receiving it.
This happens throughout the day.
As soon as I feel I'm anxious about something,
I'm overthinking it.
You're overthinking about a girl or a guy or a situation or a result,
You got to say,
Push it back.
It's okay if I don't have it and genuinely believe it.
Then when you're okay with not having it,
Then you can start wanting it again.
To me,
It is also a lot about embracing the part of the story that I don't know.
There's a very famous story.
I feel like we've told it before.
Actually,
I won't tell the end of the story because it's not really relevant,
But I like the illustration of there's a story about a Kabbalist who every day on his way to work takes an apple from the local market without paying for it.
The witness,
People witness this and they just assume that he's not paying for it,
But they don't see the part of the story where on the way home every night he pays for tomorrow's apple.
How many times have we looked at a situation from the Polaroid?
I'm going to use the Polaroid because hopefully all of our listeners know what a Polaroid is,
But it's like that snapshot that it's not that clear.
We're not talking about a digital photo right now.
We're talking about an imprint on film,
Flash.
We look at it.
We assign it meaning.
We decide it's bad and we throw it away.
The Kabbalists talk about how there's so many examples of this.
Again,
I feel like I'm just telling everybody who's listening you know this,
You believe it.
Now live it because you know,
Put yourself in the other,
In the shoes of the Kabbalists,
Right?
Let's say for example,
Actually I was thinking about this example yesterday.
Let's say it's your anniversary,
Okay?
You plan a romantic evening,
Rose petals all over the place,
Candles,
Wine,
Romantic music,
And it burns the house down.
It's deemed arson.
You're sitting in a detention room with the police because you're being accused of arson.
What was your intention?
Romantic evening with my lover person,
My honey bunny,
Right?
I had all the good intentions.
You had all the good intentions.
You put so much effort and energy in giving pleasure to the other person.
It all went up in smoke and you're now being accused of arson.
So you look at the burnt house.
Yes,
Someone burned it down.
Somebody somewhere that was negligence,
Whether it was electrical,
Wire,
Whatever it was,
Somebody did something wrong.
Yes.
But what was the intention?
Love and romance,
Joy and appreciation.
And so my point is that when you look at that Polaroid of the burnt house or the person stealing an apple,
What you're doing is you're negating all that you don't know.
And I'm going to tell you as a Pisces,
I take so much joy in the part of the story I don't know.
I love being naive when it comes to the other person's story because my tendency,
Why I'm saying I love it,
It's the hardest thing for me.
My tendency is to create a whole backstory.
They've been out to get me.
They've hated me from day one.
Somebody's paying them to hate me.
Who's the mafia behind all the cr- you know,
This is a setup.
My tendency,
And I believe all the Pisces tendency is to tendencies are to inflate and create.
We are the Steven Spielberg's of our own experience and we create these intricate stories about who said what and who did what that we didn't see that we weren't there that no,
No,
No,
No.
And we start to live in an alternate reality that literally doesn't exist because we fabricated it with all of the belief systems and the past stories and what happened,
Right?
My suggestion,
And I'm suggesting it not just because it's a good thing to do,
But I'm telling you it works,
Is focus on how much you don't know.
Maybe the person who burned that house down was trying to create a romantic evening.
Maybe the guy who stole the apple paid for it the night before.
And you don't even need to worry about making up the stories,
Right?
The point is there is so much more you don't know than you do know.
Focus on what you don't know for your mental health,
For your happiness,
So that you don't lose two hours of sleep every night before you manage to wind down because you're so worked up about what scene just happened in the movie today and how they're about to get me and who do they think they are.
You know what?
Let it go.
You can't see my feed.
You can't see my feed.
I don't think you can,
But I'm going to read a question somebody asked along the lines of what you just said.
I don't know if this question fits since I just joined this past week,
But I was helping youth online,
Friends,
And even going above and beyond in work.
And all at once,
Everyone turned on me,
Which is a little crazy since I was doing them all the favors.
Now,
By the way,
She wrote this even before you started to tell your story,
Ella Sheva.
Since I was doing them all favors,
I really didn't need or want anything in return.
I just found it hard to turn a blind eye to people in crisis.
You want to say something about that?
I don't like the word I'm doing them a favor.
That spoke to me.
Okay.
This happens all the time.
People try to do something positive and it blows up in their face where they get a lot of pushback.
Right.
It doesn't mean it was wrong what they did.
Well,
There's two challenges there and it totally relates to what we were saying before as well.
We like to,
I think we get comfort in saying,
I did this,
Therefore I got that.
I was doing a good thing and I got flack.
The two might not ever be connected.
That's number one.
We live our lives according to a linear time continuum where if I eat something that doesn't agree with me,
Within hours,
I should be feeling stomach upset.
But sometimes we get a stomachache and we haven't even eaten anything in the morning.
What's that about?
So one,
I don't know if you can call it a mindset or a tool that the Kabbalists recommend is that we don't try to balance the books of the universe.
Right?
So whoever's writing in is saying,
I was doing something good.
Why did everybody get upset at me?
The two A- May not be correlated.
Might not be connected whatsoever.
And in the same,
I think it's connected to something we spoke about last week,
But it's like,
You need to know that the goodness you put out there in helping,
As long as you were really genuinely doing it,
Not because you wanted something in return,
But really genuinely for the light that it's going to reveal,
That light will come back to you.
And that light might be erasing similar scenes from your movie.
Maybe the whole reason that that was coming up is because you,
I don't know,
There was something that happened in the past and therefore that negative boomerang is coming around at you exactly at that moment so that you will stop doing good for these people in the world so that you'll think,
Well,
Maybe I'm not supposed to be doing this.
Maybe it's a bad,
Maybe it's a sign.
I should stop being so kind and,
And generous.
And then at that moment,
The negative forces in the world have won.
Right.
I want to say,
I want to say two things about that.
Number one,
If,
If you do a seemingly positive action and then you get rejection or pushback,
It can mean several things.
First,
First thing I would do on my checklist,
Personally,
Is I look at the action itself and I try to audit it.
And some of the questions I'll ask would be,
What did I have?
Well,
What really were my intentions?
Just because I think I'm helping,
Maybe I have a backdoor intention.
I would look for that.
Number two,
This is,
This is a sneaky one for a lot of people who,
Who have a desire to do good and want to do good and want to create one to manifest.
Sometimes we get,
I fall,
I fall in,
I don't know about you,
I fall into this category and I've had trouble with this my whole life,
Which is I want to do something that's productive.
I want to be productive.
And I just attached that desire of being productive.
I attach it to maybe doing something good.
Maybe it's Kabbalah related.
But a lot of us at some point we're escaping in what we're doing.
So it could be that these positive actions that you tend to do all the time are also numbing you and allowing you to avoid something else that you should be focused on.
So for example,
A person who doesn't have self love could try to replace that with getting,
Giving value to other people so that they are appreciated and allowed by others.
And that's good and works for a while.
However,
At some point the universe says,
What about the self love issue you have that you're trying to feed off of,
That you're trying to replace by getting other people to like you?
So at some point you have to address that.
So when you start getting rejection from people,
Even though you're doing the right thing,
Means that the universe wants you to look inside yourself and say,
Well,
What are you running away from?
And those kinds of people often can't sit by themselves and be unproductive for weeks without going crazy.
I've given students the assignment before that they are not allowed to volunteer.
I've had people say they couldn't study Kabbalah.
I told them you're not allowed to study any Kabbalah this week because they were like,
Like,
Like they were down in the press and every time they heard a class it inspired them and then they went back to me down in the press.
So it's almost like they were hiding behind it.
Well that my example is I had a student once whose life was literally falling apart,
But she was so over committed to all these different projects and organizations and groups that she needed to show up in that she didn't have time to take care of her life.
And it looked good because she was kind and sharing and selfless and generous.
But on the back end there was nothing,
She was going to lose her apartment because she couldn't pay the bills.
So it really,
The,
The,
Sometimes the universe,
I wouldn't say,
The trouble with these kinds of questions is there isn't one answer.
And I think that's one of the reasons we're trying to share different types of answers.
You have to find what works for you.
Right.
That,
That it may be that you need to stop and slow down and take care of what you need to take care of personally.
It may be that you are doing something powerful and positive and anytime we do step up to the plate and do something that's revolutionary and groundbreaking,
There will be,
I would call it cosmic resistance.
There will be barriers and blockages and deterrence because the light that we're trying to reveal,
Working on revealing is so great.
But there there's,
I,
That's one of the most difficult things about doing these,
These,
This podcast is that we get these questions and we give an answer or we get two answers,
But there really are so many more possible answers because there isn't for everybody's a snowflake,
Right?
So you may hear,
And I think that that's what does happen is when we do offer multiple options,
People resonate with one or the other or they feel the energy behind your response,
Right?
So it does eventually help.
In the long run injuries,
For example,
Can often mean to slow down.
That is,
That is the most common reason why people go through injury because what injury does is slows people down and allows them to be internal,
Less external.
So many,
If you have the type of mentality that's a little stubborn that you're always pushing through,
Push,
Push,
Push to manifest something,
The last resort of the creator to be able to refocus you because maybe you're so stubborn,
But in a positive way,
Stubborn,
Successful people are stubborn.
Maybe you're so stubborn that the creator then has to slow you down and often injuries can occur.
So it's one of the reasons if I hurt myself in any way,
So I'm looking at how do I slow down here?
How do I,
How do I surrender a little bit more?
You can still be intense,
But the little bit more balance of letting go and focusing on different areas of your life.
And Michael,
I always quote this thing that Michael Burke said about balance.
When somebody asked him in a men's,
It was a men's group actually,
Like 10 years ago,
One of the,
One of the fathers got up in front of like a hundred people and said,
How do you balance you particularly?
How do you balance running an organization,
Managing hundreds of employees or students,
Taking care of four kids,
You know,
This,
That,
And the other thing.
How do you spend time being a good father,
Being a good husband,
Whatever?
And I loved Michael's answer.
His answer was,
I invest in an area and then the universe sends signals that a different area needs energy.
So,
And that could be like your daughter saying,
Hey,
I haven't seen it in a while.
Oh,
That's a signal,
But you have to pivot quick.
So he says he keeps trying to listen to the signals and keep applying energy to the different parts of your life as the universe is guiding you.
But you got to listen and to make sure you're hearing those signals.
One thing that we haven't talked about,
And I want to make sure that we don't believe the injury thing there as a gaping wound for people is that there are other,
David is not talking about chronic debilitation that leaves a person immobilized for periods of time.
David is talking about,
I actually remember not long ago,
You threw your back out and literally it makes whatever the one that happens to a person they're,
They're flat on their back,
Right?
It's like somebody with a comical banana peel and then suddenly you're laying on your back looking up at the sky.
You can't really do anything else.
No.
Okay.
You can hold your phone up nowadays.
We have solutions for that.
Or,
You know,
I had a student who was in,
Had to be on bed rest.
She was pregnant,
Very active,
Very busy working life as normal and then suddenly ended up flat on her back until the babies were going to be born.
So when,
When David is talking more about those interruptions,
When it,
When it is an interruption of a not,
You know,
There are,
We have people that are listening that are probably struggling with different issues for 10 years,
20 years,
Et cetera.
I want to make sure you understand that we're not talking about something like that.
Right,
Right,
Right,
Right.
That is just one way of looking at sudden annoying bodily injuries.
You have a,
You cut your finger and it's like on the thumb and it's really annoying because your thumb is used for everything.
You got to slow it and just got to slow down.
You got to,
You got to look at,
You got to look inside.
Well the,
The,
The interesting thing,
And I would,
Of course,
How many episodes can we go through before talking about prayer and meditation,
Right?
We have to throw it in at least every few,
But there's an interesting section in the Zohar,
Which is really a source of most of what we share on these shows.
It says the creator will give people trouble so that they'll pray.
And what a powerful message that is,
Right?
It's not about walking into a church or a mosque or a temple and going there because something bad happened.
But the fact that we have the ability,
And that's one of the unique things about human beings is that we have the ability to draw light into the world.
That's different from an animal.
It doesn't mean an animal doesn't do good and isn't sweet and cuddly or whatever its role is in the circle of life.
But we have the ability with our actions,
With our consciousness to draw the light force of the creator into the physical reality.
But that doesn't happen unless we do it,
Right?
It has to be our intention,
Our goal.
And many times the reason that those,
And this completely,
I don't want to sound like I'm only talking about the injury thing.
This is really what the,
One of the secrets to living life in a positive head space is,
As David often talks about,
Having that constant dialogue with the creator.
Going back to the question we had with the person who was being shot down for their good positive effort,
Stopping and saying,
Okay,
Light,
God,
Universe,
Spirit,
Creator,
Whatever you want to call it,
I'm doing my best down here.
What am I supposed to be doing?
Or that was really excruciating.
Give me some clarity.
Like having that,
Or it's difficult and painful for me right now,
But I'm going to persevere regardless of how,
My emotional,
My hurt feelings.
Having that constant dialogue,
Discussion,
Without even realizing it,
What we are doing is drawing more light into the situation.
So the czar goes into a discussion about how if a person,
If everything's going well for a person,
They're not going to engage in that conversation.
And they're going to think that,
You know what,
Look,
I have,
Thanks,
I've got everything handled down here.
You can go and help the really needy people.
But the truth is that even in those,
When things are going well,
That according to the capitalist is the right time to do the renovations,
To do,
Right?
Don't break a wall because there's a leaky pipe,
Break a wall because you want a bigger room,
Break a wall because you want more sunlight in your home,
Break a wall.
And of course it's a metaphor,
But it's like the proactive challenging of the self is much more powerful than when you need to ask for help or when you feel weak or you're the underdog or,
Or,
Or helpless.
So part of the balancing the,
Your,
Your mental attitude,
Your emotional state,
Your spiritual connection is not waiting for the darkness to inspire you to turn on the light,
Not waiting for the squeeze,
Right?
I'm sure if you sat down and wrote,
Said this particular,
Um,
I don't know,
Yesterday I got upset about something.
If you look at that,
Whatever got you upset,
Maybe somebody was late,
Maybe your hamburger was raw,
Whatever it was that,
That,
That pushed your buttons inside.
There is a secret to what you need to work on,
What you can transform,
How you can elevate something within you so that you can experience more joy,
More happiness,
More fulfillment,
Not because it's not nice to other people or you were rude,
Because I think that's one of the reasons a lot of people are,
Are brought to the conclusion that they need to work on something is because they hurt someone,
Right?
Uh,
Someone breaks up with you and then you think,
Oh shoot,
Maybe I should change.
Don't think about what you should change after you get broken up with.
Think about what you should change because that is actually the secret to a longer lasting relationship.
At some point,
Everyone in the trajectory of their life starts to feel overwhelmed and out of control.
And especially if control is what gives you comfort for everyone is a different degree.
But if you feel like when you're out of control,
That's the worst times of your life.
And when you're in control,
It all feels good.
There are going to be times where you become bombarded with so many different factors and so many different energies that you feel out of control and you feel overwhelmed.
What I,
What I like to do in those moments is when I start to feel overwhelmed,
It means that I'm too much into the process trying to control every little detail.
And I have an internal mechanism that as soon as I start to feel anxiety,
Going back to the beginning of the show that we talked about,
As soon as I start having anxiety,
It means I'm too involved.
And then I have to remind myself that as long as I am connected to the light of the creator,
Follow the general template of what that means and we've talked about it and what Kabbalah teaches.
But as long as I'm staying connected to the light of the creator,
No one can take what's mine.
I will be given wisdom about how to not take what belongs to other people and everything that is meant for me will gradually come to me.
And this consciousness,
This consciousness is what will keep you in that middle central column,
That balance point where you're not going to drive yourself crazy and you'll still stay to the cause.
And that's the hardest thing in the thick of it.
Can you remember that it's not about how much you get into the weeds and control the situation.
It's about how much you control your consciousness and stay with affinity of form to the light of the creator.
Let's talk a little bit more about that because that was a bit of a mic drop.
What does it mean affinity of form with the light of the creator?
I think there's three main points that we say to achieve and maintain affinity of form.
Number one is don't react when you're in pain,
When you are confused,
When a challenge occurs that makes you uncomfortable,
You don't react.
Pause.
And then we say number two,
Asking the light for help,
Acknowledging that everything comes from the light of the creator just in your consciousness that takes you out of victim consciousness,
That takes you out of victim mode and you realize everything is good,
Even though it doesn't look good,
Everything's good,
It's coming from the light.
And then you start to ask the light for help,
You start to ask the creator for help.
It's the second way to achieve affinity of form and the third that we talk about in Kabbalah 1,
A lot of mini concepts,
These are the big ones,
Is when you have doubts and you're not sure about the future,
You inject certainty beyond logic.
You say my logic is telling me one thing,
I need to achieve and work this muscle called certainty and these are just three ways that we teach in Kabbalah 1 how to have affinity of form.
Kabbalah 2 and 3 we go on more and we talk about the details but that's the beginning of three.
Okay so that's all we need to say.
The show is now over based on what David said honestly but the reason I,
Of course I'm joking we still have some more time,
But those three things are really all you need to know and do and experience this week.
The bit about certainty even though what David said may have been a bit abstract,
Right,
That knowing that everything is there for a reason and even if I don't see it right now,
I want to connect with the reality where it's all good and the hindsight is 20 20,
That first of all is one of the most powerful opportunities we have this week to strengthen our certainty.
That's what I was getting at in the beginning when I said there's so much more that you don't know than you do know.
Connect to that which you don't know and without,
I mean I don't want to,
I can't guarantee,
But almost without a shadow of a doubt that knowledge will begin to come to you.
The universe will start to show you pieces of the puzzle you didn't have and it's through that certainty.
Even when you can't imagine what the reason is,
What the excuse is,
How the outcome is going to look,
Having that certainty,
That's a form of embracing,
That's a form of surrendering.
You're basically saying I know it's the source is the light force,
The creator therefore I know it's going to be all good and I'm just going to leave it out there and see what happens.
That is one of the most powerful things and unique to this week.
These seven days are going to give us so many opportunities to strengthen that force,
That muscle within us of I know it's all good even if I can't see it right now.
I want to connect to that goodness now rather than be a part of that dragging out process.
David also said before this is to me the key of being optimistic,
Maintaining positive mindset consciousness in the face of anything is that moment of pause.
What's going on here?
I'm reacting.
Chances are if I'm reacting,
I'm connecting to a negative outcome or a negative possibility or what I can't do.
If I can pause and tap into a different response,
We're not saying be numb,
Be in denial,
Hide in a cave until all the bad is over.
What we're saying is if you can pause and interrupt that knee jerk anger,
Frustration,
Pessimism,
Judgment,
Control issues,
You will actually tap into a more elevated experience of whatever's going on much,
Much happier and also get to the resolution much quicker.
Eeyore is the classic Pisces.
Why bother?
Give me my tub of ice cream and I'm just going to sit here because it's all going to go wrong anyway and I told you so.
It's the typical unspiritual Pisces.
Every episode this month is geared towards helping us Eeyores become piglets and Winnie the Poohs instead.
Optimism and positivity,
It's all in our DNA.
We just need to awaken it.
Thank you for joining us and we'll see you next week on the Weekly Energy Boost.
