And I know that's really what deepening means.
For some,
Deepening could mean that everything starts to slow down.
That you find different rhythms suddenly emerging,
Both silently and in harmony.
I don't know how you are experiencing this deep,
Quiet,
Spaciousness.
But I do,
And you do,
And they do,
Something.
What is it that they do,
That we do,
That you do,
That I do?
What is it now?
That's right.
You can hear these words or not,
It doesn't really matter.
There's something deeper is listening,
And the more you're quiet,
The deeper you feel,
The endless totality.
As the drop of water comes closer to the ocean,
It's so afraid.
Afraid of the ocean,
It's so big.
This drop of water is so small,
And it wants to maintain its identity,
Wants to stay separate from the ocean.
But it's still,
It's falling deeper and deeper as this gentle rain washes down on the sea.
And I don't know what you would see in this moment if you were falling down gently as a raindrop towards the sea,
In the sense of a personal identity,
Of a me separate from all the other raindrops falling deeper and deeper towards the sea.
Now,
I don't know if you have to pass through A and B to get to C,
But I do know that as the raindrop falls down deeper and deeper towards the sea,
Something inside changes and points in the direction you're already falling.
So all the internal struggles to move in a different way,
To have a different shape,
To look something else,
To try to be something else,
To try to be somewhere else,
Just washes away.
And you might discover as this discovery of sensation,
As the raindrop falls into the sea,
And you as a raindrop fall in,
And it seems like there's a melting,
But it's actually no melting.
Nothing really changes.
Just water meets water,
Air meets air,
Sky meets sky,
Earth meets earth.
And then your roots.
The roots that rooted you to this earth,
Grounded in a story of who you are,
Where you are.
Suddenly,
In this moment of being a raindrop,
Those roots can disappear in the ocean.
And when you're rootless and have no ground,
What's that experience now?
Very good.
So from here,
You now actually have the space and the clarity and the quiet to make the fundamental choice of a lifetime.
Whatever it might be for you.
For some it might be to have more babies,
For others it might be,
I must be free.
I must know the truth.
For others,
Who knows what.
But whatever it is now that's alive,
It's alive and singing.
What name is it singing to you?
What prayer is it singing in your head now?
That's very good.
Now I don't know what you have realized,
But I do know that this deep realization will resonate throughout the day and night.
You may find yourself suddenly sinking into a deeper rhythm,
Finding a deeper breath,
And discovering.
Discovering something fresh and unknown.
How that will happen for you,
I don't know.
And you don't know.
But there's something trustworthy.
Your own heart will give you exactly what you need to see.
And then you can surrender back.
And suddenly instead of it's my own heart,
You turn inside out,
The raindrop falls into the sea and you just say,
I am heart.
I am love.
I am as I am.
