Do you struggle to end your day in a self-honoring way, and instead find yourself watching TV or scrolling on your phone later than you want? Or maybe you’re like me, and no matter how early you put yourself to bed, you have a hard time shutting down your brain and actually falling asleep. This guided meditation is a nice bookend to your day, to send you off to sleep focusing on what’s most important. I recommend setting yourself a bedtime alarm, giving yourself some time to unwind without screens, and protecting that time fiercely. Then listen to this or another sleep-supporting audio right before sleeping to send you off to deep and restful sleep.

Good evening,

Gorgeous.

I'm so happy you're here,

Taking this time for yourself to get present and centered as you settle your body for sleep.

And no matter what type of day you had,

The best thing you can do for yourself is to drop into your body to be present and curious for anything that wants to be revealed and to focus your attention on the positive things that you would like to experience more of in your one beautiful life.

Giving yourself the time and space to connect with you at the end of the day allows you to center,

Set yourself up for the best possible sleep,

And harness the power of your subconscious mind right before sleeping when it is most potent.

So let's get started,

Shall we?

Are you all settled in and cozy?

Is there anything you could do to be slightly more comfortable?

Maybe stretch your limbs out further or wiggle your toes?

Just feel the weight of your body as it releases any tension that it's been holding on to and spreads out further.

You can place a hand on your heart and a hand on your belly if you like and settle into your natural breath for a couple of minutes.

Just follow it in and out of your body.

In and out.

Feel the air as it enters your nose and fills up your chest and belly.

Pause slightly at the top and let it out with a sigh,

Signaling to your body that it can let go.

As you continue to focus on your breath moving in and out of your body,

You can start to lengthen the out-breath to help relax even further and slow your heart rate.

We are often so busy throughout our day that we don't give ourselves the space to really sit with what is or be with the significant things that happen throughout our day.

I'm going to give you about 10 powerful questions to help you dial in to what's important and let go of what isn't with a bit of time and space to contemplate in between.

Here we go.

Are there any experiences or memories from the day that you want to revisit?

Are there any feelings or sensations that go along with those experiences that you can surrender to and allow for a moment?

Is there anything that you need to acknowledge or let go of from the day or perhaps even forgive yourself for?

If you set an intention for your day,

How did you do with it?

Did you meet your own needs and show up mostly the way you wanted to?

What are you most grateful for today?

What are your gains or what did you accomplish?

What was the greatest gift of the day?

Are there any challenges or decisions you're facing that you would like to ask for support on as you sleep?

What do you most desire in your life and how would having that or experiencing it feel in your body?

I celebrate you for taking this time for yourself and as you drift off to a deep restorative sleep,

I invite you to imagine living your deepest desires,

Coloring these experiences with each of your senses and really melting into the feelings you'd be experiencing in your body.

Let your imagination soar and your body luxuriate in the feelings of havingness.

Sweet dreams my dear.
