Hi friend,

This meditation is designed to put you in a calm state of mind.

A calm mind is ultimately as close as you can get to your soul's deepest,

Most natural state of bliss.

That being said,

Other people's actions and changing circumstances tend to test our patience and fortitude.

In these times,

Remember that there is freedom in boundary setting.

You can choose to make your reactions peaceful ones,

Which will not only benefit you,

But everyone around you.

In this meditation,

We will use breath,

Visualizations,

And affirmations to let go of negative emotions.

Let's begin.

Sit or lay down in your favorite place to find peace,

Or if you're playing this in a random location to find calmness,

Just find a place that allows you to have some space.

Close your eyes if that feels comfortable.

Let's start with some breathing.

Take a long,

Deep inhale,

And feel it originate from the bottom of your belly to your chest,

Then all the way up to your sternum.

Then watch the air make its journey back down on the exhale.

Sternum,

Chest,

Belly.

Now visualize your breath as crisp and pure spring water,

Flowing through all of these places effortlessly.

Picture your body and all its vessels as riverbanks,

Guiding this pristine water in the smoothest,

Most natural way.

There are no logs or debris in this river,

Just water moving with ease.

Take the next few moments to continue to visualize the journey of this water,

Revitalizing you with each breath.

We will end with some affirmations.

Repeat these to yourself after me.

I am only responsible for my own emotions.

My emotions do not define me.

Others actions are out of my control.

I can only control my own reactions.

I react positively and lovingly in the face of conflict and adversity.

I greet negative behaviors with compassion and patience.

I lead by example.

My patience and love make this world a better place.

Good.
