The brilliance is in the pause.

So often when we're seeking answers to questions we have about what to do,

The next step to take,

A choice to make in a relationship or at work,

A new way of seeing things,

Even a revelation about something that you've been pondering for a long time.

As humans,

The natural response is to do,

To be more than what we are right now by doing more than what we're doing,

Changing direction,

Choosing something differently,

Reading another book,

Taking another course.

And on their own,

Each of these doing things can result in enlightenment,

More information,

Exactly the right piece of information that you were seeking.

But I want to suggest a different way,

A spiritual way,

A quantum way to access information that you need by slowing down and allowing yourself to pause,

Whether it's for five minutes or a day,

Perhaps even 20 seconds to close your eyes,

To go within,

To let yourself slow down the external energy long enough so that the brilliance of all that you have access to in your inner landscape starts to come forward.

Let's do this together now by inviting all of you,

Your mind,

Your body,

Your soul to slow down into the pause.

We're going to start with grounding into the moment.

And the most simple and powerful way that you can do this is by closing your eyes if you have not already done so,

Finding a comfortable position,

Whether you're lying down,

Sitting in a chair,

Sitting cross-legged on a meditation pillow,

Or if you're choosing to go for a walk in nature or wherever you live with your eyes open,

Just allow yourself to be fully present with your breath.

In your own timing,

I invite you to take three breaths into your nose and out through your mouth in your timing.

Go a little bit deeper than you normally would into your nose and then allow your exhale to be joined by a sigh.

See now.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Now,

Let your breathing go back to normal.

As you bring your attention and awareness to the top of your head,

Allowing each breath to bring presence and awareness to each part of your body as I mentioned it,

Allowing it to relax even just one degree.

As you inhale through your nose,

Exhale,

Bring attention and awareness to your forehead,

Your cheeks,

Your ears,

Your scalp,

Allowing them to settle and release any tension.

And to bring attention and awareness to the muscles behind your eyes,

Your jaw,

Your tongue,

Allowing your lips to part.

There's nothing to do.

There's nothing to figure out.

You're simply resting in the presence of your body and your breath.

As you continue breathing in your own pace,

Bringing oxygen and nourishment to your body,

Releasing tension on the exhale,

Bring attention and awareness to your neck,

Your shoulders,

Allowing them to drop,

Noticing any tension in your arms,

Your hands,

Your fingers as you let them rest,

Feeling the sensation of floating,

Nothing to grasp,

Nothing to grip,

Just allowing yourself to feel the full support of your body and the surface beneath you.

As you continue your soft,

Gentle breathing,

Bring your attention and awareness to your chest,

Your upper back,

Your belly,

Your middle and lower back,

Allowing everything to soften.

There's no need to tense or tighten,

Just let the fullness,

Natural roundness of your body to settle in to full support,

Allowing the inhale to nourish every part of you inside and out,

Allowing your exhale to release any stress or tension or holding in your body.

Next,

Bringing your attention and awareness to your hips,

Your thighs,

Your calves and your shins,

Allowing the heaviness,

Support to release in your legs.

There's nothing they have to do,

There's nowhere to go.

They support your body so beautifully and now they get to rest.

Continuing to breathe and finally placing your attention on your feet,

Your toes,

Feeling the bottom of your feet,

Perhaps noticing a tingling or a warmth as you place your attention on the bottom of your feet.

Finally take a nice inhale and as you exhale,

Just do a once over body scan,

Just noticing any tension has returned.

And now just allow yourself to enjoy this relaxation,

This physical pause,

This mental pause,

Pause to access your soul so that your inner knowing,

Your highest self can have a space to communicate with you.

Over the next few moments,

Bring to mind any situation,

Any question that you're seeking an answer for or a resolution for.

Perhaps something that's been on your mind for a while now that you're seeking insight about.

And just remembering that sometimes answers from your innermost soul sometimes come in the form of a realization or an image or a memory or perhaps a person who you need to connect with.

There's no right here,

There's no wrong answer.

Take the moment right now and bring to mind one question,

Query or insight that you're seeking an answer for.

Try not to overthink this.

We're simply practicing accessing the brilliance in the pause,

Knowing you could come back here any time to seek further guidance.

Having chosen your question or desire for an answer,

I invite you to bring your attention and awareness to the center of your heart.

Sometimes it helps to place a hand over your heart to bring your awareness to that part of your body,

Allowing the warmth from your hand to penetrate through your skin,

Through the bones and muscle and wrap around your heart center.

Imagine a small light in the center of your heart coming awake and brightening.

And as you think of it more and pay attention to it more and look at it with your inner eyes,

This light brightens.

This heart center light is the place of inner brilliance.

So for the next few minutes,

I'm going to stay quiet as you ask with your inner words,

The question that you have or the answer that you're seeking.

And then concentrate your awareness onto this heart light and allow the answers to arise,

Remembering that there's not one way our heart communicates with us,

But there's a unique way that your heart communicates with you.

And remember from the outside,

It might look like nothing is happening,

But on the inside,

You are realigning with your inner knowing,

Accessing intuitive guidance and all you need to do right now is to pause,

Rest,

Listen,

Allow and receive.

I will bring you back when it's time to come back to your external world.

Enjoy the pause.

God bless.

You you Now it's time to gently come back to your awareness Take a moment to reflect on what came up for you You might notice that your mind Might start to analyze the answer to talk you out of the instinctual intuitive messages that you received Once we're complete with this meditation I Invite you to anchor your thoughts and messages into form By grabbing a journal and a pen and writing down any reflections any insights Perhaps a new question arose Sometimes the answer to a question is another question that brings new light into the situation Most importantly Trust the insights information messages that you received Knowing that you can come back to the space anytime and get clarity and continue to build the relationship with the pause and Connecting with your internal knowing and that heart light Thank you for taking this journey May your day be blessed May your life be blessed May your heart feel peace You You You
