Welcome to this week's meditation.

Today we are focusing on inner sovereignty.

Inner sovereignty is about connecting to that part of you that knows exactly what you want,

How you want it,

And how to ask for it with grace,

Wisdom,

Gentleness,

Kindness,

And authority.

As we begin to access this part of our inner sovereignty,

I invite you to get very present.

I invite you to settle into a position that's comfortable and invite yourself to experience a few moments of deep relaxation and connection to that innermost part of yourself.

The easiest way to begin to do this is to focus on your breath,

And if you're in a place where you can close your eyes and enter that inner world,

Go ahead and do that now.

Let's begin together by relaxing all parts of your body starting at the top of your head.

As you continue breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth,

I invite you to begin to notice if you're holding any tension in your scalp,

Your face,

Your jaw,

Your lips,

Your tongue.

Continue breathing,

Bringing your attention and awareness to your neck,

Your throat,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands,

And your fingers.

Perhaps putting your hands face up with palms up in a position of receiving guidance and wisdom and relaxation.

Continuing breathing in through your nose and out through either your nose or your mouth,

Each exhale bringing more relaxation into your body.

Continuing to scan your body for any tension,

Continuing with your chest,

Your heart center,

Your solar plexus,

Your lower belly,

And your sacral center,

Your hips,

And your root center,

Your upper back,

Your middle back,

Your lower back.

Continuing to breathe,

Inviting air into your body and more relaxation with each time you exhale.

Noticing any tension and releasing it in your hips,

Your thighs,

Your shins,

Your calves,

And your feet.

And now one final scan from top to bottom,

Allowing a nice deep sigh on the next exhale,

Releasing any final bubbles of stress or tension.

Making any final movements or adjustments before you settle in to the next few moments of a deep presence and accessing your inner sovereignty.

Begin by letting your breath get back to normal,

Enjoying this moment of presence,

Bringing to your mind's eye the part of you that knows exactly what you desire,

How you want it,

And why you want what you want.

Releasing the need to please anyone around you,

Releasing other people's expectations for your life,

Releasing the need to seek approval for your decisions.

In your mind's eye,

Imagine the most sovereign version of you standing just a few feet in front of you.

How does the sovereign version of you hold themselves?

What is the sovereign version of you wearing?

What is the predominant energy of the sovereign version of you?

What is the predominant energy of the sovereign version of you?

What decisions does this part of you make in your life that are asking to be made right now?

Perhaps it's as simple as permission to follow that inner arrow,

Permission to rest more,

Permission to delegate things that no longer serve you doing them.

Perhaps it's permission to ask for and receive support in your life where you've done things in the past all on your own.

Sovereignty is stepping into the agency of your own life.

And within each of us,

There is a sovereign being knowing exactly what you want and why you want it.

Notice what thoughts are coming up for you right now.

I invite you to consider a specific situation in your life that requires more sovereignty,

More presence,

More personal agency.

And from this place,

I invite you to,

In your mind's eye,

Step into the form of this sovereign being so that you are now the sovereign being of your life.

And from this place,

Ask,

What is the next best step in my life in this situation as I approach it from my inner sovereignty?

For the next three minutes,

I invite you to simply listen to the guidance from within.

Thank you.

You you you you you you you And now it's time to thank and acknowledge your inner sovereign self,

Knowing that you can access this part of you and bring it into more and more aspects of your life.

Now would be a great time to reflect on any ideas,

Realizations,

Or even resistance that came up through the practice of journaling.

Simply setting the timer for three to five minutes or more and writing any reflections without editing,

Without knowing that you have to share this with anyone,

Simply writing down what came up for you can help you go to deeper levels of understanding,

Ownership,

Reflection,

And sovereignty.

Thank you for being here.

I'll see you for the next episode.

This is Alaina Lipson.

Blessings on your journey.

What came through with this was accessing more inner peace. I was able to see myself in this peaceful state during what is typically a less peaceful time. How I am, hold myself, and the joy of that peace is what is available for me. Thank you 🙏 Pathfinder
